I bought an Rt 1250. I snapped the bolt for the horn handle. I called them and they sent a replacement no questions asked. Great people !

I've had my recteq for about 2 years now, I absolutely love it use it every week and never had a problem with it. Starts right up and the ease of use on the app is fantastic.
My 700 showed up at 3pm on a Friday. After assembly I realized the grill grates I ordered were not in the package. I called customer service at 5:15. A super friendly gentleman answered the phone and asked me how he could help. I told him the situation. He said "I apologize sir, we will ship that out immediately ". There was no interrogation, no verifying my social security, no questions other than my name. The grill grates showed up on my door step the following Monday. That is is a 2.5 day two turn around over a weekend. I 100% back recteq. At this point I've done almost a thousand cooks on my rt700 and truly believe my grill grates might break down before my grill does. Much love to the recteq family.
I’ve had go call customer service twice since I got my RT-1250 last October, was on the phone for less than 5 minutes each time and had new parts shipped to me for free immediately. Love the customer service.
I have bought a RT-700 and ended up selling it to my best friend because I wanted to upgrade to the RT-1250. I have to admit that Recteq has the very best lineup of products available. Their customer service is beyond what I ever expected. I could brag about those guys all day long.
I bought my RT700 in July 2021 and it is the best choice made. Frankly, someone would have to work deliberately to mess up a cook or smoke on this.
Customer service is beyond what I could have imagined. Made and supported in America. If you have any questions, ask them and you will be talking with someone who knows and uses the products, do reading from a users guide.
I cannot say enough good about this group of people whether it is Jody, Gerg, or John, the rest of the team in Georgia, or the Recteq community online, it is one BIG happy family. Living the Recteq Lifestyle!!!
I originally bought a Traeger but took it back to the store after a few weeks due to numerous issues. Their support wasn't helpful. I then bought a Recteq. That was four years ago and it still works flawlessly. Recteq is the only way to go.
I have had to call customer service twice, and both experiences were fantastic! Recteq people know what they are talking about . I changed my home wifi setup and couldn't get my Recteq back on wifi. The guy in customer service talked me through every step and made sure my wifi was working properly before we ended the call. Plus I absolutely love everything about my Rectaq grill. Burgers have never tasted this good before.
I've had my 680 for 6 years - I'm a Rock Star with it! Their customer service is better than ANY business I've ever worked with!!!

I was one of the original customers for the rt680. It's over 7 years old now and going strong.
This is a huge statement but in my dealings from pre sales thru many years of watching rec tec expand and engaging them on multiple ocassions, you would be hard pressed to find better customer service. It's not only a quality product but the company that stands behind the product which they do unconditionally.
I have turned on friend and coworkers to these folks and all have constantly stated how happy they are. In the future we will be moving and I plan to move up to the bfg2500. I would not consider any other pellet smoker & company at any price point other than Rec Tec

If you want a challenge, try assembling one of these grills ruclips.net/user/postUgkxCx5fHawkK9OoV-ojFrY8JLnZrFwAmvUt . I am a technician by trade and the technical instructions were easy to follow. No reading, just pictures and diagrams. You assemble everything in 5 steps from the bottom up. Step #1 - Assemble 4 Legs and Wheels; Step #2 - Add the Front Cover and Cross Bars to support the frame; Step #3- Assemble the Burner to the Lower Grill Housing and install the knobs; Step #4 - Install the Side Burner and side shelf; and Finally Step #5 - Install the Upper Char- Broil Lid, Cooking Racks, 3 Burner Railings and Lid Handle. That's It and you're done in about 2 hours and 40 minutes. You have the option to pay for assembly after making the purchase - I would strongly suggest that you take it if you don't want to be bothered with this challenge. The only tool I used was a Phillips head screwdriver and a standard pair of pliers. The grill cost a little more because of the side burner, but this is what makes the grill so versatile and popular among backyard grillers. Have fun and enjoy!

Have a RT-700 and RT-B380, love them both. Had an issue starting my 700 up last Christmas Eve due to it being 0 outside. Figured nobody would be around so dropped them a note on their website. Received a call back in 10 min and helped me light it off on the way to a successful Christmas dinner. Was amazed at the level of customer service, the others cant hold a candle to recteq! Thanks for making outstanding products

Bought my RT-1250 about 7 weeks ago and it is amazing.
Had my RT-700 since 10/19. Really glad that I chose it after looking extensively at the competition. I probably about 1500 lbs of pellets later and still love it. Just retired from years of automation work. The RID control is rock solid. Nice to see you've been able to keep the price stable in spite of inflation, etc..
I’ve had my recteq 700 for approximately two years now. Liked it so much I bought the matador too. I have a Blackstone griddle to complement them. I cook anything and everything now. Love REC TEQ.
I bought the 700 and when I first started it on initial burn in temps fluctuated so I posted on a recteq grills facebook fan page and asked if this was normal. It corrected itself but before anyone answered on the page I woke up the next morning and had a voicemail from a rep from the company wanting to know about the issue and if was still occurring. I didn’t even have to call them, they called me. Now that’s customer service. Also had the cold smoke box that got dinged up in shipping, nothing major but sent in pictures of it and no questions sent me a new one. They are a hell of a company that stands behind the great products they produce. I’ll never buy another brand of grill again.
I have a rec tec 680 that I bought in 2013. Just last month I had to change the igniter which is only problem I’ve had in 10 years. Love it and my daughter is looking at the new 700

I've had had my RT680 for 6 years and only had to call them twice and if they didn't answer the phone right away they ALWAYS called me back within 10 or 15 minutes. Oh and did I mention that I also love my Bullseye, 😂.

Started in the Pellet Smoker 4 years ago with my first RT 700, in that four years my stable has grown. My stable has grown in large part to the great people at Recteq from the Chef Greg, Chef John and Jody as well as the rest of the staff at Recteq. I have Been to an Academy, which I highly recommend! Probably some the nicest folks you will ever meet and always there to help, no matter of its a recipe Idea or an equipment question. Because of all of this I bleed Recteq lol, with that being said I currently own 3 BFG's, 2 RT700's, and 2 Bullseyes. IF you are ever near the Lake Havasu Area in Arizona and want a closer look at the Smokers and see the Quality just send me a message.

I had a Traeger and had numerous issues: 1) Sometimes it would just “flame out” 2) could not keep temperature unless it was a very high temperature 3) Absolutely no smoke flavor. I ended up selling it very cheap and bought a “stick burner”. As you can imagine, that’s a lot of work to tend a fire and try to keep the temperature where it needed to be. At this point, I’ve decided to buy a Recteq…just haven’t decided which model yet.
I bought my little rt340 when the pandemic started and I love it. I use it once a week at least.

My RecTec is older than the one shown. I have the RED version, which is amazing. I believe it is 7 yrs old. I have replaced things here and there, but the customer service is beyond belief! Do you know, that If you call CS and hang up (wait time), they will CALL YOU BACK! And if you are busy and miss the call, they will keep calling you back until they get you! WHO DOES THAT EXCEPT RECTEC!! Amazing customer service. No equal.
I used to have a Traeger Pro 34 which was good. Last year I won a recteq 700 to which I absolutely love! In my opinion the recteq is twice the wood pellet grill compared to the Traeger. My 700 cooks more evenly and holds a consistent temperature. Looking forward to many years of grilling on my 700!!!

Got a 1250 a month ago and it has changed everything. Just a quality piece throughout. Heavy duty. Flawless cooking and temp control. Wish I had gotten one sooner.

I have the 590 and the Bullseye. Both are Beasts. Cook 3/4 days a week on the Bullseye. 0 problems. 590 for three years zero problems. Not hearing any Traeger girls talking about how great their grills are. People just don’t know about Rec Teq. Word is getting out !!!
I’ve owned both. Recteq is by far superior to Traeger. To me there’s no comparison in all aspects. Trust me buy a Recteq
if you had ribs from rec tec & trager... could you tell which one came from the rec tec? could you tell what type of wood pellet was used by the taste? could you tell at what temp was the rib cooked at & for how long?
I am firing up my 1250 in 10 minutes. It is so far pretty amazing. Do wish there was an easier way to dump pellets for another flavor though I am putting wet chips with the flavor I want on the heat deflector.
Quite honestly a shop vac works very easy. Sounds like a pain in the rear but it really isn’t. They’ve talked about why they don’t have a hopper door to let those out. Eventually moisture would work its way in through that access door.

Mine reqtec stop working after 3 uses . Support can’t figure out the problem which means I’m on my own with this thing. I have a grill that does not function at all, and reqtec won’t do nothing for me. I really regret this purchase. It was a hard choice between a grills and reqtec and I made the wrong choice.
Love my 700 but do you need the shades indoors?

Also should of done the 1250. As they’re priced the exact same. 700 is quite a bit less.
I bought a pitboss 1250 competition , It is a beast, all day cooks with no adding pellets, huge three level grill area, Wi-Fi, bottom shelf, a shelf on the front and the side really on both sides if you count the pellet box. $699.00. it doesn't have the bull horn handles but so far that hasn't affected the smoking capability. I like to spend my money on function not something fancy just to bump it up in $200 in price with no added benefits. Traeger, I checked them out and all I found out really is they're expensive. There are many good ones I decided to spend my hard-earned money on function and not so much fanciness. I think I got so much more of a pellet smoker for half the price. I did add two temperature gauges the bottom of the lid and really no temperature variance that I've seen, it has been consistent on every cook plus it has the handle to pull back on the deflector shield so you can get direct sear above your pot. So before you buy a pellet smoker figure out your budget and then look at what there is out there maybe some people don't want Wi-Fi or don't want about himself or don't need three racks. Maybe some people want the traeger name because it's pushed so much, I saw that especially at home Depot. What I did I went online and read reviews for a week and RUclips videos I probably watch 80 to 90 videos. And then I went right to the store and bought my pit Boss and I'm glad I did. The one thing I will say and there's probably goes for most smokers is if you like that little bit more of smoke flavor get you a pellet tube I got one on Amazon I think for 12 bucks and I use it on every cook.
Pitboss for $699 is a great deal! If you ever want Stainless Steel and temperatures of 750 degrees versus just 450, I hope you'll consider a recteq! Smoke on my friend!
Um. The Traeger controller is in fact PID. No reason to misrepresent your competitor.

I have the reqtec great build quality but can't get it above 29 degrees. Total waste of money buy the pit boss!! Been through several temp probes!!!!!

I made the right decision with my bull horns 700. Rectec all day long. 🎉
