Performing for over 40 years. A peak touring schedule of 331 days in a year with 189 gigs within those 331 days. No other performers can endure this! The strain on a person's vocal chords! Seen you guys for the first time in 1984 and will be seeing you guys next week in 7/26/2019.
Their 1984-85 World Slavery Tour is hard touring at its' best. They were in their 20's and pretty much fried themselves out. Bruce almost quit music altogether. But they never had (and still don't have) any radio and mainstream support. But they don't need it. Hard touring and word of mouth was how they got to the top. No MTV or (country)'s Got Talent bullshit
DEPORTMAN Not true. Iron Maiden along with other metal bands had radio as well as video air play. Back in the 80's, major cities had radio stations that played metal music. Los Angles, New York, and Chicago to name a few had stations. I lived in the Chicago area and we had a station call WVVX which played Maiden.
@@luis_6068 I never expected to hear Where Eagles Dare, Sign of the Cross, Wicker man, 2 minutes to midnight, and my favorite Iron Maiden song For the Greater good of God live. Metallica aren’t a pimple on Maidens ass. There is no comparison musically speaking as Maiden are far better musicians technically and overall songwriters...we shall agree to disagree. I still love Metallica though...
It pisses me off too! Pearl Jam who had one great album got in already. Iron maiden had numerous ground breaking albums. Its bullshit! Atleast the cure finally got in, also with many unbelievable albums, also after Pearl Jam!!! No disrespect to Pearl Jam but GIVE ME A BREAK!!!!!!
Olaf Olaf i felt the same when Green Day got in. No disrespect but at the time you still had bands like Cheap Trick and The Cars not in. Also, still no Motorhead, Maiden, Priest, etc. Its not real.
Can't wait to see them this coming Thursday in Massachusetts. Gonna be my first Maiden show! At age 44 no less, better late than never! These guys rock a million times harder than bands half their age!
I was there in section 312! My first time seeing them. Seat may have been far away but I still had a great time. I can only hope I have this much energy when I'm in my 60s... these guys never slow down!
Im 16 and play Maiden songs on Bass and Drums and was my first Maiden Concert, huge fan from Puerto Rico and had to fly over to see it, but totaly fucking worth it!!!!!!!
Guillermo soy de PR también. Wow me encanta saber que tú siendo tan jovencito tengas tan buen gusto en la música! Yo fui al de Final Frontier aquí en PR. Es una pena que no estemos incluidos en este tour.
Unfortunately i missed this show, Saw them back in 1988 and in 2009! Up the Irons! How i wish i was at that floor section at Bb&t 😠😩😪🤘. Thanks for posting!!
Bruce is running around like the times I used to run around in Mexican parties with my cousins playing tag. Lol I cant wait to see them this September 14. Up the IRONS!
Hey, Guys! First place, thanks a lot for the amazing vídeo!! Second: what a great pleasure to see this 'old men' like a kid playing for us in another tour; great performance and is possible see the happiness in their faces!! Absolutely wonderfull!! In october it's time in Brazil!!
Nashville on August 19!! Been a fan my whole life, but never got to see them live yet. Was disappointed that I didn't get to see them a few years ago when they came around, but this show looks like it will be even better! Can't wait!!
"Who do you think you are in that flying hat... a Pilot?" Yes, I am a pilot, and a rock star and a fencing champion, author, inventor and entrepreneur. Oh Ok (man admits defeat, salutes then leaves). Love this guy 🏆
Unbelievable these guys are all in their sixties or damn close to it and they're still out there every night performing at this level again unbelievable and they're not in the Hall of Fame yet now that's unbelievable
Was there on the floor about 20 feet from Adrian...Seen them a lot, but this was def one of the best. Setlist and show is ridiculous and they absolutely sound better than ever. Highlight Flight of Icarus...Bruce with flamethrower arms...LOL

This was the opening in their tour in Edmonton, and immediately everyone was jumping, pushing, and going crazy! Being on the floor stage and standing right in front of the gates, me and my brother got pushed back away😂
Last concert I went to before covid hit and it will probably be the last of the old school shows. Fucking amazing and loved every second. Talk about the way to go out.
Great work! I will be at the Brooklyn show next Friday. Same side of the stage as you were but much further away. Regardless I know it'll be a great show - my 6th time seeing IM. Thanks for uploading this.
It was my first concert and I’m not disappointed next is the KISS concert In August and than the slipknot in September. Looking forwards to the coming months.
So, i was in the second row center, and if i wasnt sure before this show. I now am, Iron Maiden is the greatest live band in the history of music!!!!! I would ask anyone who was there, what was your favorite song of the night. For me, the high point was revelations, it brought tears to my eyes, instantly trasporting me back in time to my first maiden concert on the powerslave tour when i was 15.
Quite a show. I am glad they got the airplane hanging above correct, it was the Hawker Hurricane that won the battle of Britain, not the Spitfire as most people believe. There were very few Spitfires in the Battle of Britain in 1940. Anyway, great song. I remember it well. I'm 58 but I cannot let go of this music.
@@jarkobrokesko8982 it's a Spitfire, look at the undercarriage, the wheels fold towards the wingtip, whereas a Hurricane's fold towards the fuselage. Plus Bruce says it's a Spitfire.
I’ve heard this song 50 trillion times, and it gets more badass each time I hear it
This song never gets old long live iron maiden 🤘🎸
You know you've hit it big when you can get Winston Churchill to open for you.
and when that speech is almost as famous for the Aces High intro than it is in a historical context. I hear that speech and I think of Maiden, not WW2
