I dont know why people dont take this part seriously.. like this was the fav part of the event for me how they finally shows how hurt he was from the last events and was thinking that he wasnt worthy enough for jing yuan . He could have killed sushang but he kept holding back and with jing yuan talk with him in the end its like he finally got inner peace
I was also thinking that too. He seems to have grown when we look at it. I feel like it's a small win on his part l

Most players will meme everything, it's not surprising at this point. He's a master swordsman who's young but since he lost to beings with far more experience and power than him, people think he is not a formidable combatant. Also it's not helped by how mediocre his kit is as a playable character.
@@F1ll1nTh3Blanks well a lot of people say his kit is easy to build but I guess each player is different. When I play with Yanqing, he's feels more slow in comparison to Jingliu and uses more skill points. That's what I say is his drawback. Plus most can agree that this is somewhat progression. We sorta see that while he's a swordmaster in training, he's still a person with feelings.
This is one of my fav parts too. I personally love the JY vs Cirrus the most
This was everything I wanted, I am so glad to see the story finally address Yanqing's insecurity, and Jing Yuan's fatherly love.

I feel like this should be the end of the Yanqing abuse. He learned to see past victory or defeat, and manged break away from the heliobus' control. His feelings towards getting the ego-check of a lifetime are also explored.
I don't care what the HI3 version him did, it should have no bearing on what this Yanqing will become.

@@lolicon453so basically his Hi3 counterpart murdered Fu Hua(alongside the other Students) because Hua was basically a Monster atp killing anyone with a hint of honkai corruption because to her no one deserves mercy . The Students thought there was no other choice but to trick and murder her but she was saved by Luocha(Otto) .

For me this is the best part of the event, we have learn more about yanqing after everything. How he feels or what have he learn after everything. Also I really like relationships between him and Jingyuan
the way jing yuan talks to yanqing is so gentle , he is really his father
I feel like the people in this comment section didn't even watch the video or play this event. They are delusional if they think Sushang can beat Yanqing. She was already out of breath when he was holding back, if he was serious she would be dead. And when Yanqing was fighting everyone before Jing Yuan came he was taking the fight as a sparring match so he was still holding back despite being outnumbered. And in the end the Yanqing in the end was a fake so that doesn't count.
can we please just leave yanqing alone (i know hes probably gonna have like a huge comeback like 5 years from now but still leave the poor kid alone

Thiss this event is literally the best has the best weiting for yanqing till now how it shows how affected he was from the blade fight how he was seeking to make his master proud . And the fact that he in the end won a gain his own self and techniques???
The heliobus is correct on the "you shouldn't hesitate when you're up against those you know" this is the loafu, anyone you know can become mara striken at any time :c
1. Yanqing held back against Sushang cause if he was serious he would have killed her. She was already out of breath with his holding back. Imagine if he was serious.
2. He didn't fight Jing Yuan

You know, id love to see Sushang and Yanqing train together. That would be so cool. Also if youve heard team voice lines, i love the Avengers reference from Yanqing. Thats so precious
On one hand I feel sorry that we are constantly using him as a punching bag, but on the other, I feel like sometimes he just brings it upon himself.
Pretty in line with his "main" universe (HI3) self lol! Ma Yanqing/Feima was a total ass and his younger alternate self is getting the long deserved comeuppance for betraying Fu Hua/Phoenix.

She pretty much eradicated villages that had remote signs of honkai.
If you pick the other options when sushang is talking about her skills improving Guinaifen says “Haha, right - conscious Sushang is pretty badass.”

I don't know why but I love if it turns out this hints of Yanqing falling away to become a greater Swordsmaster. He was willing to embrace the Heliobus until it asked him to kill us.
I can see a Yangqing betrayal coming soo because he keeps suffering painful defeats. And we the ayer caused.

But story here was exactly to message the opposite: despite the failures he has endured, he was able to move past viewing victory as the only goal. Did you pay any attention to what happened here?
Maybe this hints to his conversation with Jingliu in her release trailer with how he still has a long way to go before he understands swordsmanship. Since the thought of killing is what snaps Yanqing out of the daze. If he were to bring himself to kill, that might be the push that causes him to crack. However, I don't think Jing Yuan would allow that to happen and also Yanqing's high morals won't either. He just has his doubts from time to time.

This is the place where Yanqing trying to arrest Dang Heng, Blade and Kafka and he defeated by Dan Heng IL & Blade until Kafka & Jing Yuan Break up the fight between the three of them.
Hands down the best part of the quest. Yanqing character traits is just *perfection.*
