This is what the Developer said.
"Since it’s based on IP, various elements such as characters, locations, monsters, etc. can be from the original title.
However, it will not be an upgraded or improved version of the original title .
Instead, we are developing it as a completely new game by incorporating a different story, characters, contents, costumes, etc., that will be original factors of ."
