    I didn’t realize how much space you actually have to work with until I checked the headers myself!!! I definitely think I could do this myself with enough time on my hands!!! Gonna try it maybe this year

    did you have any problems with your o2 sensor? mine is throwing a check engine light and remote start won’t work, is this usually common with shorty headers?

    • @Spartan_660
      @Spartan_660  2 года назад

      For shorty headers not at all. If all you did is change out your headers you shouldn’t have a check engine light. The only thing exhaust wise that should throw a code is if you did something to your cats. The only thing that comes to mind is if you have some kind of exhaust leak and that’s why your getting a engine code but that shouldn’t prevent you from using your remote start.

    Hey man where did you get the off-road pipe I can’t find them anywhere

    • @Spartan_660
      @Spartan_660  2 года назад

      Sorry for the late response. Unfortunately the one I got got discontinued. The one I bought was from leathal performance. Ive tried to find it after I upload the video and it seems like shortly after they stop selling that pipe

  • @SirenS550

    Do I need off-road legs or can I just delete the cats? I can’t find any legs

    • @Spartan_660
      @Spartan_660  3 года назад

      Well I labeled them as off road legs because that how leathal performance called them. They unfortunately don’t sell them anymore. You could do a cat delete or if you find any cat-less pipes.

    Did you have any issues with midpipe sealing ? I cant get aligned leaks midpipe flange

    • @Spartan_660
      @Spartan_660  3 года назад

      I personally haven’t.Do you have stock headers? If you do I can see how that may become a issue. The stock once’s are like the bbk shortys that they have that matting part.

      @@Spartan_660
      Yep I had the factory manifold...the midpipe looks like its sealed but I used my air compressor to pressurize the system and hissing away around both flange / header connectors.. I'm thinking I might have to loosen resonator to get it adjusted... pain in ass lol
      Headers are good thank god ..that back bolt was crazy huh

    • @Spartan_660
      @Spartan_660  3 года назад

      Yeah I would say that’s why you having the issue. Since you have the stock manifold. Yeah those stock bolts are awful to take off. Mine weren’t even really rust but they were on there like omg. That’s why I just took the whole manifold and cats out at once. I would recommend that if you can’t seem to fix it by moving it around and trying to adjust it, you can get this exhaust puddy stuff and put it around the flange. It will harden and keep it from leaking. I would know recommend this if you know you don’t plan on selling the car

      I should have done like you and removed the midpipe/kats when doing the install... I now have the BBK shorty headers on it.. I took off the manifold..
      I've tried a few times using a jack etc so guess I have to take off cats then adjust midpipe itself.. I'm putting on a scavenger x pipe in a few weeks might as well do it all at once .... your stang is awesome 👍

    if i install shortly headers do i need to tune?

    • @Spartan_660
      @Spartan_660  3 года назад +1

      Not necessarily. Depending on what shorty headers you get. If you get the bbk once you don’t need to. I would highly recommend it though. It will help you get those great gains that come with getting shortys. If you have a stock exhaust system or even a cat back or axle back then you should be fine with no tune.
