When I see you've upload a new video I always think... Oh man, the last one was so good I don't think this will be as good... But it's better! For real man, I'm amazed on how good your videos are, a lot of quality knowledge right here. You really deserve to get paid for these. Keep the good content I will try to sent it to everyone I can.
Surprised harden clips werent shown especially since he uses delayed hesitation a lot but other than that this channel is pure gold so many gems you can take from this
Terrific Video! You never cease to amaze. Could you please make a Kyle Lowry Attention to Detail Next? I would like a JJ Redick one too, or just one about off ball movement. Thanks for your hard work!🏀
The arm swing mentioned at 6:54 onwards was originally mostly about hitting the wrists of your defender back when hand checking was allowed. It's mostly forgotten because the primary function no longer exists. It can still help with propelling forward, but it can also hurt your balance and get you leaning too far forward if it doesn't come naturally to you. Not worth trying to force yourself to do it unless you really want to look like late 80's MJ in my opinion.
Offensive distance is a key since the ball has to be kept to the side and away from the defender. When the drive begins you have to really surprise them or they're going to have a shot at shifting to get in front. It tends to work because the defender just doesn't know you're getting ready to zoom past.
Dennis Smith Jr has the most explosive hesi I have ever seen. I grew up with Kevin Johnson, Steve Francis, Bdiddy, Westbrook, Rose. If he ever gets better shot selection and counters to the hesi its goodnight.
I really like these vids! They have helped me improve my game a lot. My one thing is, do you really think these players comprehend all this every play or is it just instinct? And keep up the good work.
I have a question: i think that i'm a intermediate of tight ball handler, deceptive ball handler, and deliberate ball handler, and i know that these are stereotypes, but i can use any type of moves for my games like the hang hesitation? because in the video of types of ball handlers the hesitation is more used for the tall players but i small and in my team i think that i'm a guard. and good video i love it👍
Can you do a video on knowing when to pop and when to roll for the pick and roll? I don't think that was included in your "Ultimate Guide to Pick and Roll" video
Thanks 4 video Not only do I get 2 know what moves I already do, I now know how to perfect them even better, n I now know more n detail what type of player I am👍👍👍👍
You guys know the Russell Westbrook and Dennis smith jr dunk right where they go left and dunk with their right like a poster dunk I suggest practice that move not the dunk to initiate contact in game usually a foul either you get a nice highlight by hitting the guy in air and throwing the ball at the ball like space jam it actually works with a 2 free throws or an And1 trust me I'm 5 foot 8 or 9 it works use the Isiah Thomas hesitation to get by Isiah uses his right hand to hesitate so you guys use your left for the same effect
“He was despised and rejected- a man of sorrows, acquainted with deepest grief. We turned our backs on him and looked the other way. He was despised, and we did not care. Yet it was our weaknesses he carried; it was our sorrows that weighed him down. And we thought his troubles were a punishment from God, a punishment for his own sins! But he was pierced for our rebellion, crushed for our sins. He was beaten so we could be whole. He was whipped so we could be healed. All of us, like sheep, have strayed away. We have left God’s paths to follow our own. Yet the Lord laid on him the sins of us all. He was oppressed and treated harshly, yet he never said a word. He was led like a lamb to the slaughter. And as a sheep is silent before the shearers, he did not open his mouth. Unjustly condemned, he was led away. No one cared that he died without descendants, that his life was cut short in midstream. But he was struck down for the rebellion of my people. He had done no wrong and had never deceived anyone. But he was buried like a criminal; he was put in a rich man’s grave. But it was the Lord’s good plan to crush him and cause him grief. Yet when his life is made an offering for sin, he will have many descendants. He will enjoy a long life, and the Lord’s good plan will prosper in his hands. When he sees all that is accomplished by his anguish, he will be satisfied. And because of his experience, my righteous servant will make it possible for many to be counted righteous, for he will bear all their sins. I will give him the honors of a victorious soldier, because he exposed himself to death. He was counted among the rebels. He bore the sins of many and interceded for rebels.” Isaiah 53:3-12 NLT "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life." John 3:16 God loves you so much and showed that by sending His Son to die for us so that we may inherit eternal life. We deserve hell but He gave us heaven through faith in Jesus. He took the punishment we deserved and by putting our faith in Him we can be saved. God bless y’all!
I was expecting a ginobili game winning layup against memphis (?), he practically stops archs his back and almost picks the ball entirely before throwing his body forward for the layup, on his unique abrupt unortodox style
Amazing video like always. Would love if you showed my Mavericks some love and did an attention to detail for Dennis Smith Jr. Keep up the great work 🙏🏽
Guys I want to ask you a question I'm 6.0 feet tall and 17 years old and I love this game and I hope that I could be taller because I love playing in the post and this is my question Should I forget about playing in the post and having a good fadeway and just focus on ball handling and vision because of my height and my role as a point guard?? Last thing I damn love this channel and you deserve more subscribers Keep up the good work.
Some dudes I met from a pick up game also play in a league. They said that my hesitation throws them off a lot when I drive in for a lay up. I never understood what they meant.
Hes gotta be the GOAT at the hesi. Not fast, just uses changes of speeds better than anyone in the game and leads the league in isolation points because of it
IVE BEEN WAITING FOR A VIDEO LIKE THIS!!! attention to detail amazes me in every fine way 👍👍

Great work!! Can u do a vid on how to “post up” -> “quick turn around “ -> “ drive to the hoop”? That’s Kobe’s main offensive weapon!
i think the best thing about the hezzy is its like a triple threat without picking up your dribble. one of the best moves in basketball
man I love this channel 🔥❤️ always learning something new with each vid
these the videos we need, now all we need is guides to shooting and how to attack the defender.
Ur iq for the game is rally amazing I’m still learning how to play point guard so I’m going to be subbing To you g
I really like these vids! They have helped me improve my game a lot. My one thing is, do you really think these players comprehend all this every play or is it just instinct? And keep up the good work.

You think you could make a breakdown of big men using a hesi move?
do a guide to scoring against a defender thats more athletic than you.
I still don’t understand why they only have 120k subscribers.
Honestly where do u find the beats from. LIT👌👌👏

Dennis Smith Jr.

2:44 explosive hesitation
Slight skip, slight hop, take the shot- pop!

I don't like the slow motion effects, it distorted the tempo of the moves...while tempo control is the essential part of hesitation moves.
