i used to play a lot of gameloft games on my mother's nokia X2 keypad phone, that was my childhood n i used to have a lot of fun, POP, assassins creed , nova, modern combat , etc ......that time were great😭❤️❤️

Me too bro.the games like the amazing Spider-Man 1and2, Ultimate spider man,dark knight rises,Nova 3, Morden combat 3 and 4 are the games that made my childhood and whenever i remember the games it brings my childhood. It is sad to see the downfall of the company that made our childhood.

Gameloft is basically my Entire childhood.Especially their java based games which used to come in nokia's internet keypad phones.i don't remember the exact names of those games, but yeah i loved those. Even after i got my first android device which was Nexus 6P, i used to play a lot of Gameloft games among which asphalt nitro and nova were my favourites cuz they were under 50mb and had great graphics at that time...

Asphalt 8 was op till 2019 but later in updates they made changes like high car prices , less race incomes , more ads , added many subscription options which were actually free
It's all because of vevendi I hope they go bankrupt and Gameloft goes to someone else someone better.

I don't know about Android but Gameloft was the king of developing Java games, back in the Nokia days. Seriously their games were very unique, stylized and addictive. I miss those days

Hi Brother. Just wanted to add one point that Brothers in Arms was not a clone of Call of Duty. It was the remake of the Brothers in Arms series which was available on PC. One of the best and most underated WW2 FPS series with one of the best campaigns.

I used to play 'SIX GUNS' I loved it when I was kid. One of the first open world game after vice city I had played.😃it had horse and cow boy village

AHH MAN I have plenty of memories connected with this game developing company and their games . I remember returning from school during those hot summers days of 2017 and just getting into their games like spiderman , gangster Vegas and more . Its just sad to see how much has they gone down between these years .😢

Gameloft used to be king of Nokia j2me games where they have made diamond rush, date & ditch, gangstar 2 king of LA, asphalt, Nova, Prince of persia games, Assassin Creed games, brain challenge, spider man toxic city , movie game like The amazing spiderman, harry Potter deathly hallows part 2 , immortal, narnia 3 , Warth of titan , sonic unleashed etc. Last java game was the amazing spider man 2 after that they moved on from nokia java games , thank gameloft for making our childhood awesome

Hi @Lazy Assassin .... I just wanted to add somepoint that once upon a time GAMELOFT was making 2d java games for mobile. They tie up with ubisoft, ea , sega to make java version of their aaa games (Like:- Assasins Creed 3, brotherhood, prince of persia series, sonic series and lots more.) and they also create movie java games like iron man 3, avangers, the dark knight rises etc. I think you should add this :)
Yeah, i know. Actually the point of video was not to tell the history of Gameloft, but to highlight the reasons for its decline. That's why I didn't include these points.

Every day in around 2014 i used to play gangster new orleans and vegas with my brother on his phone , Still remember that nostaliga we used to complete all missons together sometimes we even ignored gta and played that ...i wish i could time travel😭😭😭

Gameloft's batman the dark knight rises was a literal masterpiece i mean look at it's release date even tho it's old it has such great graphics even though it is a mobile game that game was truly ahead of it's time a true masterpiece.

Gameloft basically was how i got into mobile gaming. I remember playing Gameloft games on my Java Based nokia phone. Games like asphalt 3,4,6, modern combat, etc. Played alot of their ios/android games like modern combat 2,3,4,5 and basically all of the ios/android asphalt games from 4 to 9 legends, N.O.V.A and some other gems as well.
Yeah you may hate on them for copying big IPs like call of duty, Halo and grand theft auto, but it allowed us mobile players to have a similar experience of those games on the go at a time when phones were not completely seen as gaming devices.
Now we cant completely blame Gameloft for becoming Greedy since this all happened after the hostile takeover by Vivendi. If anything, vivendi's the reason why Gameloft became what it is today. There were some good games that came out after the takeover like Asphalt 9 but the microtransactions of these games are ridiculous.
Maybe one day the company could return to its former glory but who knows when

I discovered Gameloft from Asphalt Nitro
Till Today One of My Favourite Game is Asphalt 6 Adrenaline both Java and Android version I just love that game but now there is not a single chance to play that masterpiece again as it is totally out of the internet I just used to get emotional whenever I recall my childhood memories with Asphalt 6 and Gta Vice city.
