I went from my Tesla model 3 performance to a M3 competition xdrive. It’s insanely fast! The handling is worlds apart and some people achieve 0-70 in 2.9s. It’s truly an amazing piece of machinery. Highly recommend one or even the upcoming M2.
You get instant torque in the Tesla though
Is the M3 the same engine/transmission package as the M4? I've been looking at buying an M4 probably early summer but I'm still not 100% sold on the two door.
@@AceSeptre yes they are identical. Both are a blast to drive.
@@randomhobbyist99 In my shopping around I think the M3/M4 are probably the best option in the 100k range right now. I like the RS6 Avant as well but I will just end up paying 40k more for a slower 0-60. Plus, I don't think Quattro drivetrains (while legendary) allow for 2WD modes like xDrive.

So here I am looking at M4 reviews because I just purchased one. Turns out I purchased this exact car from this dealership. It’s getting wrapped and will be the same color but matte. Winter tires will be installed next week.

I actually appreciate the fact that you reviewed the 7-series before this one. There is a small proportion of the population that are coming from "couch-on-wheels" luxury cars, and it's important to let them know up front that ride quality and noise isolation is not going to be at the same level.

Still not a fan of the grill lol. But I cannot deny bmw’s are fun to drive. My brother had a brand new 2005 m3 back in the day. The manual transmission in that car was so amazing. I miss it dearly.
