I love the "bullets remaining: 00" thing, because imagining what it _could_ mean is so much funnier. Initially you think it's copying videogames, and maybe it's _trying_ to, but it doesn't understand what ammo counters are, and thinks it's just some text that humans like seeing in the bottom right. Second possibility - it _can_ go up, but only for an ultra-specific type of ammunition, possibly even ammo that only exists on the probe maker's homeworld. But by far the best interpretation, i think, is that it's a counter for how many bullets "remain" _inside_ the user, lmao. Like, if you got shot, the counter would go up by 1, and when a surgeon removes it, it goes back down to 0. It might go up if someone were to ingest a bullet, too. Pretty sure blue means dream or simulation. They've mentioned in other SCPs that some of the foundation higher-ups are aware that they're in a universe shaped by fiction writers.
So basically, these guys are Thermians from Galaxy Quest, except they see our (science) fiction literature as not only “historical documents”, but also “prophetic documents”. So when they see floor-to-ceiling tv screens & Bluetooth earphones, they wonder why our firemen aren’t burning books (Fahrenheit 451); or they see our automatic sliding doors & flip-cellphones, and wonder why we haven’t experienced WW3 yet (Star Trek). Poor guys. 😅
I really wish people would take it easy with the vocal distortion when SCP are speaking. I could barely understand this one, and it was easy compared to how this channel portrays the Hard to Destroy Reptile. Which is like a Charlie Brown adult pitch shifted down so far it starts coming through the subwoofer.
Admittedly, if I saw an adult-sized zeppelin using a mop, I would be completely convinced that everything was perfectly normal😆 Seriously though, I'm not sure why these probes are being treated as anomalies that need to be locked away. They're just space probes from an apparently neutral (if not friendly) exo-civ that's working within the bounds of the lightspeed limit. That's about as normal as it gets.

These little things make the article feel like it is being read by a human, not simply a sterile recitation of words.
The phrase "unspecified catastrophe" in reference to the failed plan to make use of the nutrient cube is peak SCP dry humor.
Really enjoyed this one although some of the robot voice effects made it pretty hard for me to understand it at times. I'd love if those could be toned down just slightly in the future but still awesome job ❤
Gonna say it now, scp 447. The light green and mint flavor on everything!!!!
It has to be hard to figure out what people want from the format but I will say i like this format and the one you ran regularly about a month ago the most.
Really wish this was on spotify, i really love listening to these as an audio book but can't stand the ads as i like falling to sleep to them, hell if im paying for YT premium tho😂
RUclips vanced if on android. Don't know if its available for ios
For me, that spacesuit triggers "The One" from Babylon 5. Thank You.
Alot of the space scps are either thr whole world is gonna die or its not a threat at all. I kinda want an inbetween story
"are we cool yet" made me laugh out loud. "do you not understand yourselves" is so good. no, my friend, we do not.
Extraterrestrial SCPs have got to be my favorite.
aliens- "Bitch, you live like this?"
Just wanted to say that I Absolutely loved this Video Brother! As Always You Never fail to go Above and Beyond All Expectations 👍
It would be cool to spped up and pitch up period recordings, like the effect in the recording of the Hindenburg disaster.
I still prefer the scrolling to this static switches
Please go back to the scrolling text, it looks much better and the new format looks like subtitles for a podcast.
Thank you for continuing to do long form content. It’s excellent ❤🦾
Genuinely thought you would take a break this week, TY for your work but I would be perfectly understandable if you took a break considering last week's entry
Anyone else get vibes of Three Body Problem at the start? Alien tear drop probe, resistant to corrosion or damage?
Zeno, that’s an unusual one.
loving the everything you do
I think I prefer the text crawl
I love how this one had interactions with nearly every major GOI across each instance. Just gotta wait to 2060 for a Wondertainment, 2090 for some sort of Karcist set of circumstances.
I love that it thought science fiction was made as a prediction of what the future will be. Then it's confused because we're not actually doing the things it's read about and asks if we can understand ourselves.
Alien probes! Damn Furons! Always going into places they shouldn't. Also, love the old entry part.
thats a fun one. Thanks for making it an "audio book"
Another new video to brighten my day thx dude ☺️👍
That interview with 2005-C... I swear, I thought for a few moments that it was paraphrasing Starman by Bowie. Had to check. By some oddity of omission, Bowie was less effusive about the library system, but I'll forgive him that.
I love SCP their saftey procedures will say "It is imperative to handle this material safely that you never under any circumstances [REDACTED]" and just hope for the best
They believe all our fictional works are real... So basically, these are Thermian probes from Galaxy Quest. 🤔
Its cool how the foundation and insurgency have made a agreement
Love having this on my Monday morning commute ❤️
"the nutrient cubes taste like mint "YAY!"... and salad dressing... "y...a...y"
always love these! glad to see more coming out again!
You're telling me they install a game hud into you!?!?! Sign me up!
Oh look we have a red astronaut among us
14:34 oh gawd that must be awful..
21:02 would be odd and or concerning if either of these displays changed, especially the dream related one.
Pretty sure blue means dream or simulation. They've mentioned in other SCPs that some of the foundation higher-ups are aware that they're in a universe shaped by fiction writers.
“What we have here is a failure to communicate….”
This is one of the crazier universes where the SCP foundation actively wars with other paranormal groups isn't it?
im a bit out of the lore loop, are you saying the chaos insurgency and the other various paranormal groups are only canon in some universes?
Why were so many Groups of Interest involved, fifthists, Chaos Insurgency, AWCY, and The CoTBG. Great video btw.
Because every group wants to contaminate/contact/troll another planet.
Basically the aliens from Galaxy Quest
I was hoping they'd analyze the historical documents of the NSEA Protector.
Once you realize it's a room, you realize how small it is.
Hilarious that it is has several methods to remain incognito..
One of my favorites in a while, very cool
I too can be requested to carry out tasks, but be completely terrible at them.
So the guy questioning, is he just asking the computer? Lonely convo.
