@@fabriciolira4044Piff wasn’t kidding about Vegas. Piff & Mr. Piffles have had their own (critically acclaimed, no less) Show at The Flamingo in Las Vegas for the past 5 Years. Not a bad compliment at all from NPH.
NPH is highly regarded in magic circles. Wasn't he President of the Board of Directors of Hollywood's Magic Castle at one point? If he wasn't an actor he could, possibly, be an accomplished magician.
Piff's magic was actually a very simple common sense trick. Anyone could've done it with such precision. However, only Piff could master a humor and performance like that. Truly genius!

It's an intermediate card trick in terms of "professional magic", but, just like on Penn and Teller, you can't teach charisma and Piff has always had so much of it.
@@unknownuser8454 I didn't watch past the third thing since I got bored, but the first is an obvious force, done poorly as you can see the card separated from the rest by his finger and he's shuffling through. The second he just loads the card into the can behind the case, thats pretty straightforward. The third, the dog is in the chair. None of this is even clever and I would rather watch more talented magicians on Fool Us.
I love how he stays in character even after the performance.

the last trick you see the person pull the robotic dog away and put piffles there behind the sheet he did a poor job covering that for being the finals....

The fact this dude won this show is still mindblowing. From a struggling comedy magician to headline his own Vegas shows. Just goes to show, that finding something ur good at and having the confidence to share it, can take you places if given the opportunity
But.. He didn't win 😂 Yet he is able to get his own Vegas magic shows because he IS that good. He's still my favorite act from got talent and even from Fool Us (penn and teller's show). Love Piff!

Just saw this guy live in Las Vegas at the Flamingo Hotel and he is everything! Love his unique attitude and humor, and amazing skills. He deserves all the success he’s got.
I just did see him at Flamingo yesterday and it was the time of my life. I got selected for one of his number and it was just amazing!

@@petehakkinen3020 … I know right??? Yes, his lack of magical skill, though as minor as it is, is more than made up for by his comedic skills 🫵😆. Piff is 1 of only 2 comedians on AGT in recent memory that has actually made me laugh hysterically. The other one was Preacher Lawson 👍🤣
He is a truly hilarious guy. I love his I am so cynical and apathetic that losing wouldn't bother him but winning wouldn't change him.

When they switched out the robot dog for the real one you can see the shadow of them putting the real one in, and the sliding out of the robot dog in the bottom corner.

A magician getting a Golden Buzzer from NPH is quite an accomplishment. He was once President of the Board of Directors of Hollywood's Magic Castle. If Neil wasn't an actor he could, possibly, be an accomplished magician.

The chair that Howie was sitting on had a flap that lead to a box under the chair which housed Piffles. No boxes had piffles in them until it was placed over the trap door on the chair.

As a Brit this definitely wouldn't work if he was American... the British humour is so good that i think a lot of what he said went ove rmost peoples heads 🤣
Why wouldn't it work if he was American? You know, we aren't completely deprived of people with a dry sense of humor haha. I suppose we are more used to hearing that type of thing from British people, but I think there are Americans who could pull it off.
Ironically, I was going to mention House as an example of dry American humor, but then I remembered that Hugh Laurie is British, so I guess that's a point for you, ha. That being said, he does play an American and is watched by Americans, so clearly there are a decent number of us who like dry humor. There have got to be at least some American comedians who practice dry comedy...
