  • Hello guitar students! This is the guitar part of the grade 1 song you might be learning - please practice along with the track and you can watch and learn how I am playing the song on the guitar.
    TIPS:
    _______
Hallelujah is in a different time signature (6/8) which will give the song a 'swaying' feel - the beats will sound like 123,456 in 2 bars and the clicks occur at the beginning of each bar.
There are dynamic changes in the song (how quiet or loud you will play) - the majority of the song is played mezzo piano (mp) which means 'moderately quiet'. During the second half of the verse, it becomes mezzo forte (f), which means 'moderately loud', so pluck the notes harder with your fingers/plectrum.
Make sure you keep in time with the tempo and the ticking metronome is there to guide you. Practice along with the track until you can play all the way through.
