- The 2002 Lamborghini Murcielago that i bought for £100,000 from a track experience company is becoming the biggest rebuild and restoration that i have ever done. The main channel @MatArmstrongbmx has done really well this year aswell so to celebrate i wanted to show you the Lamborghini in person at Highcross shopping centre Leicester & give back to a few of you aswell

Yeah 100%, the clean OEM look is where it’s at, gives the car way more character than mixing and matching panels ect. And in my option the earlier model bumpers kinda look cooler too, especially the twin exhausts. They would look particularly cool with a titanium system!

Mat, not sure if you'll be reading this, but for the love of god, please keep it stock/OEM. A soon to be iconic car like this 'deserves' to be fully rebuilt to OEM specification, with the original bumpers and such. That's just my strong preference, but of course it's your car, so you should enjoy it how you like, but I think I speak for a lot of viewers here. Great content as always and keep up the good work mate.

Mat - Congrats on giving back to the community! As for the bumpers on the Murcielago, personally I would keep the stock ones. Love both the channels and. the videos, keep up all the amazing work!
They both look great. With that said i think it comes to the color pallet you plan to use. If you plan on using a green color like before use the upgraded new bumpers. If going black or grey use the oem standard.

Love both the channels so much more than all my other subscriptions. I can't think of any other RUclipsr that actually gives back to anyone so really big respect to you Matt. As far as the bumpers the updated ones look so much better than the older ones really gives it a more aggressive look. Honestly my dream car all black with silver wheels.

I'd say go for the clean OEM look. Restoring and rebuilding an original Murcielago, especially an older one, would be incredible. Restoring the Murcielago to OEM spec would increase its value. Classic cars that have been well-maintained and restored to their original condition are often more desirable to collectors and enthusiasts, and as a result, they can fetch higher prices at auctions and in private sales. It can also help to preserve the car's historical significance. Classic cars are an important part of automotive history, and restoring them to their original condition can help to preserve that history for future generations. Overall, restoring the Murcielago to its OEM specifications will definitely be a rewarding and enjoyable project for you. Especially when you're keeping its historical significance.

@@matarmstrongmk2 Plus a massive tip due to i began doing this myself 2 years ago is 3D printing using resin 3d printing or FDM and 3d scanning parts to make Your own Plastic and carbon parts and FDM Plastic Welding its easy to do anyone can do it

Original! Definitely. I thought that when you started modifying it, and so pleased you are thinking stock. Definitely the way to go. I’d be tempted to go with a really subtle but stunning paint finish too, like a really really dark green that looks almost black. With silver rims that would look stunning and still be compatible with the light green stick you’ve got for the interior

OEM for sure. It's the iconic Lamborghini green and it's already a classic. Nothing wrong with putting some nice wheels on it though, surely you've got something nasty in mind. 👍
