Haven’t used the twist it up comb yet but I do like the twist king sponge from Boward Woward. It’s way easier to clean and it doesn’t pull your hair out.
Solid video King. I ended up getting the Bow Wow Twist King a few days ago because I didnt wanna use my old nasty sponge and loved the big twists it gave me. I chopped my locs off to start a fresh journey and this time around I wanna go for bigger locs. The Twist King definitely gives me those big twists that I'm looking for and is definitely the new go to over the regular degular sponge.

It has more options, and I can at least use it without the case while cleaning it.

I’ve heard folks use the sponge to get started on free forms
I really needed this video back in 2019. My personal favorite ended up being the Twist It Up comb after about 2 years of experimenting

They've made new Twist It Ups, they have a standard one available with the 3 sizes as of a year or two ago
