It's so nice to see your videos with a hard working man just doing regular outdoor work. No politics no controversies, no dissention. Except wisteria issues. 🤗
I go back and watch your earlier videos of the farm, knowing what it looks like now, and I see the amount of hard work you've put into clearing the land, building new structures and killing that dang Wisteria. I know I keep saying it, but, you should be damn proud of what you have achieved. You make an old country girl, very happy. Kate from Queensland. OZ.
That was so satisfying to watch. I remember when your neighbor loaned you his big tractor so you could clear the corner of the property for electrical lines. What a transformation!
Considering all the work you are having to do, I will no longer complain about having to clean up my measley .39 acres. Of course I don't have a tractor nor a battery powered or gas chainsaw, but it is on my bucket list. I'm farming the city way; growbags and mini-greenhouses, one indoor and small walk in outside. Backyard has a septic tank so no gardens back there for me. I might just plow up my front and make it a vegetable garden since it hard to keep grass growing. But I love being outdoors though and need to finish up soon before the heat and humidity kick in. You are doing a great job Robert.
I Love that old wall, and make the old Byrd farm look so nice, when it is not covered in that bloody Wesitera. So Happy you gonna address and fix it. You can see how the Westeria vines has started wrapping their vines all over and around parts of that wall. So good Job Robert, and your right is does looka better cause now you can see some of the back property as well, and connects it better.
Really love that old decorative Cinder block wall I hope you reconstruct as much of it as you can, maybe have a smaller gated entry and open at either end I believe that style of block is still available good job getting rid of the hated invasive weed wisteria
It’s amazing how far you’ve come with the farm. You and your little orange tractor have done quite a job. I was just watching you working with it and I was thinking back to when you bought that old tractor. It would not have done the job that this little orange girl is doing.
Wow Robert what a remarkable difference from when I first saw you sitting on the front step of the OBF ,SURROUNDED BY THST NASTY WISTERIA .It doesn't even look like the same place . I enjoy watching you working inside and outside .Its so fascinating seeing what you have accomplished in both areas of the house and land .Your Gramma would be so proud of you and I bet she is cheering you on .❤❤❤🥰
As old as the Old Byrd Farm is I enjoyed today's work on the Ancient Ruins. Remembering the scrap yard that was on that side of the yard, I can understand why the wall was built in the 50s to hide it and make the front yard look better. Today, it's time to reveal the transformation. Thx for doing this, filming it and sharing it with us.
Oh the satisfaction I felt as you were pulling on that huge wisteria vine felt so good. I was saying, yeah! get it Robert! Yes, it looks so nice opening up that one area. You see other parts of the property that’s so inviting. Opening that up looks as if it was meant to be with that humongous pine tree. Now you just got to work on getting the wisteria that’s hanging around the brick wall. ♥️♥️👍👍👍🌟🐾🐾🐈⬛
Never knew of your sentimental attachment to the wall before this video. Now I get it. Things are always changing. Alot of things from my childhood memories have changed which makes me sad. So keeping some of those memories alive in my book is a good thing 😊.
Robert, your cleanup job of the property is looking good. I actually like the fence and hope you will consider keeping what is left of it. Always enjoy seeing Annie and Blue at your side!
I always can't wait for a new adventures on both channels. I'll tell you on thing you make me tired just watching you do all that work on the Old Byrd Farm! The transformation since you started is phenomenal!, I love looking at your garden. It's really coming along. I watched the video with you and Dan about the Sulfur Springs. That was just amazing!, Can't wait for the next video on that also, I truly appreciate all the hard work you do on both your channels. Also glad your feeling much better.
It's looking real nice! It does really ooen things up. I think a picnic table is a great idea. Over time you could a barbeque or an outdoor kitchen space or even an opensided pavilion for shade/ shelter. What a nice space for relaxing with friiends and family. You could also extend the garden that way too. So many possibilities!
QUESTION? Robert Do you have nightmares of wisteria vines pinning you in your bed? 😳😂🤣 Bless your heart! Your fighting so hard against that mean plant! 🙏🛐✝️😉😂🤣🙌🏻👍🏼👋🏼😁💞
You did an awesome clean up on The Old Bird Farm! I enjoy your videos on here and sidestep adventures also. Thank you so much. I can't wait to see this all done!
Man, it landed so close to the fence. I'm looking forward to seeing the fence sans wisteria and looking handsome again. Later - Robert, this looks so nice and will continue to do so. Thanks for sharing.
I remember the huge wisteria over by your fence just a short distance from the wall you're working on. I like what you did with the wall. Very pleasing to the eyes.
Good job on the wall, Robert. It's looking good. I love how Blue watches you and stays near you. He does that in every video 😊. Stay safe and pet the dogs for me. God bless.
Looks nice now that you have cleaned up around that wall a little. When you started pulling down wisteria, I was surprised! I hadn't realized how much wisteria was growing up in those trees and bushes. Wow. I think putting a picnic table out there is a good idea, too.
What a difference!!!! I purchased the property next to mine... only a 50 foot by 120 foot lot. But it was not care fore in a LONG time. Trees and thick weeds. I got the trees down (still have to clean-up the mess). But between having Covid and bad knees, we'll what's a body to do??Lol No one wants to work and kids that will do the work want $20. An hour. Shake my head, Being in your 70's ain't easy!!! You're doing wonders with the farm!!! Keep-up the great work.God bless ya.
Absolutely beautiful, Robert! Yes, the Old Byrd Farm gets nothing but better all of the time. What a wonderful view through the cement fence! It makes for such a wonderful accent to the property. So homey and heart warming, it just hugs one all over!❣️❣️❤😊👍👍
You are doing a wonderful job bring the old home place back to glory.😊😊 Don't know about there, but here that walnut is valuable wood. You might consider looking into selling it. Makes gorgeous gun stocks.
I think anytime you get rid of wisteria, you have done something vitally important for the Old Byrd Farm. That wisteria is so aggressive that getting rid of it anywhere on your property is important.
That looks so much better opening and that will make the ground dry more cuz it'll have a all the way through area my dry out that back part good job Robert
It looks so much better now!

The farm is looking fantastic! I sent you an email a few days ago. Looking forward to hearing back from you. :D Best wishes from Oregon.
It's so nice to see your videos with a hard working man just doing regular outdoor work. No politics no controversies, no dissention. Except wisteria issues. 🤗
Robert, the difference over the last two years is uncanny. The open fence really shows off the farm. God bless.
I absolutely love the concrete lattice wall ... thank you for cleaning it up and revealing it's glory to us all !!!
I go back and watch your earlier videos of the farm, knowing what it looks like now, and I see the amount of hard work you've put into clearing the land, building new structures and killing that dang Wisteria. Step by step, you are making your home beautiful
I just love seeing this farm come back to life again! You're doing a great job, Robert, and thank you for taking us along.
Tremendous! Adored the opening you’ve created!
Love the wall. Tree centered perfect.
I can see Fourth of July with the entire clan, having a picnic there!
I like it!!! Wow what a big difference.. I actually like the wall separated.
That looks awesome, well done. Live it
Robert it’s looking so good, I am so glad you took that wisteria down !!! That wall is part of history and now we can see it ,
Aesthetically pleasing is what I believe designers call it.😊 Very nice! You're opening the yard up and it's beautiful!♥️
Ahh!!! Its looking so much better. Good video Robert.
Looking great. Hello Blue and Annie
That looks amazing! I love doing this kind of work! The intrinsic rewards make it a fun project!
It looks so much better. That tractor has sure paid for itself. What a hard worker. You and the tractor.
Robert sure is a hard worker. He knows what he's doing, too. Has a lot of skill in many areas.
It's fun watching him.🙂

Looking very parklike now. Amazing what a difference clearing that opening makes. Well done. Hello from Australia
Whew!!! That was a lot of work!!! Wow! Wonderful job!!
I like those decorative bricks. Use to - with boards- make bookcases from!

You could put either a small fish pond with a fountain or a nice concrete bird bath in that open area. It's looking great, I admire what you're doing.
Finally! The Wall!! Looks so much better.
Looks great Boss!!! That first wisteria vine you cut looked like part of the wall!
This opening makes a huge difference. Good thinking Robert!!
What you did today really made a big difference in the look of the farm!! Just keep on cleaning this area of the farm!! Blessings.

Looks amazing! Your grandparents would be so proud of all your hard work. Love to watch as the OBF continues to improve because of your love of it!
I love that wall! Its so amazing to see how much different the OBF looks over the years. Well done...again!

Amazing how clean up transforms your view. Love the idea of a picnic table to create your own secret garden and a place of rest.
