Ft leonardwood wasnt safe in the 80s either. I know from experience. I couldve been this girl but at the end i fought with everything i had and managed to escape but i was definitely not unharmed. Rest in peace Sargeant😢
When I was in boot camp at Naval Station Great Lakes back in 1981, there was a missing recruit for a period of time and his body was found in a ditch decomposed inside the gates. I graduated and never heard what happened. I actually had forgotten about it until I saw this story.
This young lady was from my home town, Ligonier, Indiana. I didn't know her or her family. This is an absolute tragedy. I think women are treated poorly in the military and it has to stop!
I went to boot camp there 40 years or so ago. Fort "Lost In The Woods". Combat Engineers. It would be hard to get away with this on a military base. They'll find who did it.
