Hi - I prefer my GT2 as I like the fact that I can answer calls on it as the speaker and microphone are pretty good. Nice an loud and clear!! Only thing I feel is missing is the fact it has no standard answering phrases or mojo's you can use...... The Battery live is outstanding and overall the watch is great so far!!
I have the first Gen GT and still happy with it since the battery life gives me just about 2 weeks and a bit. 👍🏼
Mine too. 14 days easy. 17 if I want to push the battery down to 10% or less. Realy depends on button presses.
I've had this watch since Friday, and it's well worth the money.

After the update to the Huawei Health app on 1st May, you now need to install the Huawei mobile services app and create an account. The mobile services app does not add anything to the experience of using Huawei Health. It does take up room on your phone and I have heard of reports of it slowing down the operation of the phone. Check the mobile services app's comments on Google Play. The mobile services app also collects various data; including your phone number which you need to use to create an account and your password. Not sure if that is your phone password or not. Pity, a decent product crippled by intrusive and useless software. My Huawei smartwatch has been ditched.

Right about slowing down phones. After installing HMS Core, Chrome is very sluggish and crashing. And installing HMS Core requires that you allow your phone to install third party apps, not good.
The Strava and Samsung Health apps also force you to install GMS (Google's core apps) and wrt Strava, even Google Maps - so if one is going for the alternative watches, the situation is pretty much the same. The only exception may be Amazfit (without syncing to Strava).
Got this baby for Black Friday at just 80 euros. Looks like the absolute best value for money at this price, very excited for my first smart watch. Mostly looking to track my sleep, hope it does a decent job

Considering I got my gt2 46mm (non E) at a fair price (159€) during Huawei's april sales, I'd s say the GT2e is not such great of a deal. I'd rather have the possibility to make phone calls with my watch. As for the rest of the specs, the two are pretty much the same. In the end of the day, it all comes to wether you like the youth/sporty design or the phonecalls on your GT2.

Just ordered one for £69! From amazon. Not bothered about the speaker and mic of the gt2, ill use bluetooth headphones and my phone for calls. Biggest reason I've got one is i often miss calls or texts while working.
Love my GT2's design as it looks like a normal watch. I don't like the GTe design as it just looks like a 1st gen GT with that bezel, plus it has no speaker/mic.

GT1 is classic.
Why would you want the speaker/mic when you have a phone for calling? I know that it could be usefull when the phone is wet or when you are driving but the people calling you can wait and if its really important you knew the call would come most of the time.
Why no one does reviews on accuracy on watches. That’s what really matters right? I’m looking for a watch with accurate sensors.
Probably because it varies from watch to watch even if branded the same. Where on your wrist and how firmly against any pulse point etc. It definitely varies from watch to phone, sometimes by more than 1000 steps over a day. For instance, if I push a trolly around the supermarket, my watch records 300 steps where my phone registers 1200. Probably the angle I hold my wrists when pushing the trolley.
I have seen reviews of step accuracy on other reviews and they're pretty much in the same ballpark plus or minus 10%. How accurate do you need to count steps? Is there really that much calorific difference between 10,000 steps and 10,500?
Steven Lucas what be nice to know what kind of sensors watches have. If they are the same technology or different. For instant when I’m buying a pc I’m looking at the processor, different brands have the same, or when picking a android phone what chipset, I would like if the reviewers discuss what is in the watches. When versa 2 goes to versa 3, would like to know it’s a better tech inside and not just an addition of gps... hope it makes sense I’m not a tech guy but I look at these things

Oh God, my GT2 *can* answer and make calls and has got a speaker. I don't need to mention how many times I've taken calls on my Watch. I was never a smartwatch person but Huawei GT2 changed my mind.

What about the straps? are they only interchangeable between each other or can you use any 22mm strap on it like with the GT2? It's the only thing that's keeping me from getting one myself, since I'd like to also use more elegant straps with my smartwatch

Sir, the stress on Gt2E does work automatically or u press stress and u test it, i mean as the oxygen(spo2). I mean when u want to test stress, should i do it from the watch or from the app?

Lite version of gt 2 but with more sports programs. Its great that they made battery life same as on gt2. The most important thing.

I purchased one last week and screen has gone into lock screen mode and I can't undone it, gone through with everything and heading to store tomorrow for solution, it doesn't last 14 in terms of battery 8 is the max

The GT (one) certainly has. It's switched on and off in the Huawei Health app

I have the Yeah Way ............ Oh wait wrong youtuber. Huawei Watch GT1 with two months and I absolutely love it. The only problem with the GT1 is lack of storage so you can only upload four watch extra faces from the health app on to it. Also the Huawei watch faces for the watch are bloody awful. I managed to find a tutorial on Facebook how to upload custom watch faces to my watch so I have a very nice Casio type watch face on the phone. Also Huawei updated the firmware of the watch last week. With most unnecesary things disabled I am now getting three weeks from a full battery charge.
I had it for 2 years, and than it died.
The display panel was not glued well and water came in when swimming in the sea, the watch went crazy beeping and vibrating and than died.
Pictures attached, I do not know if warranty cover it as 2 years pass, but this should not happen.

But there's no Strava integration on any Huawei products. How can it be taken seriously as a sports watch if you can't upload your running, cycling and workout activities to Strava? As far as sports watches are concerned, it's Strava integration or GTFO

But this is not possible.
I like the fitbit versa 2. Because it does the job even though I don't use all of the capabilities. But it is very good, very trustworthy.

I have a Samsung Watch, but I want to replace it with this Huawei GT2e primarily because of the much stronger battery life in Huawei's case and because of the way Samsung sits on my hand. Samsung is not comfortable during sleep and it really hurts my hand. I heard there's a problem pairing the Huawei watch with a Samsung phone. I have Samsung Note 10+ and I want to ask if it is enough to install the Huawei Health app from Google Play or I have to do other installations. I wouldn't want to buy a product I can't enjoy because of the incompatibility.

Now seeing this review about the GT2e (and others about the GT2) I think I want to get this GT2e. I miss some sport options on the GT (Boxing, elliptical crosstrainer, swordfighting)...
Sir, since it doesn't have mic and speaker, still can it ringing?for example when alarm has actived or when the screen shows incoming call..
It vibrates on your wrist, but no speaker or ring tone. It's enough to let you know something has happened on your phone without letting the world know too. (GT One)
i have this problem. I get all app notifications with the same icon . The sms icon. I dont get the app icon like you show in the video when you look at the twitter notification . You can see the twitter icon . Is there a fix for this?

I bought yesterday a Huawei WATCH GT2e just to realize that i cannot even use it.
I have an Oneplus 7t, android version 10, oxygen OS 10.0.9.
By pairing the watch the message informs "download Huawei Health on your phone. Then add this device".
I installed the application from the play store. The message i get is "Huawei Health requires a more recent version of Huawei Mobile Services(4.0.0. or later) to work properly.
You can get the latest version in HUAWEI AppGallery."
It is totally unacceptable and seems quite amateur. Do i have to return the watch (and freeBuds Lite?).
It is a funny answer that we should install anything outside the Google Playstore. I would never do it for security reasons.
They should inform people so we find a solution. I will return the product back and never buy anything from Huawei again.
Totally disappointed.
As an advice. DO NOT BUY HUAWEI products.

No responses in notifications is fine. But at least being able to action upon them, like archiving or deleting e-mails or marking SMS messages as read, that would be great.
Even silencing some notifications for a period of time too. There's room for improvement. Good video anyway.

Only thing that annoys me a bit is generate standard blue balloon with 2 white lines notification icon for Viber, Outlook, Skype and some 3rd apps... (only Instagram, Gmail and Massenger work with app icons). Is it possible to differentiate this in future updates? Also, are there ever be more AOD faces? Thanks.
