In today's video, I give you my top 3 Things Make ANY Player Unguardable. These basketball scoring tips will help you instantly increase your scoring average! The awesome thing about these simple basketball scoring tips is that they are super easy to implement for players at every level. By implementing these scoring tips into your game you can almost immediately skyrocket your scoring and your overall basketball skill level!
So my first scoring tip to make any player unguardable is "they must have the ability to shoot the basketball" shooting is arguably the most important skill for a player to have in today's basketball landscape. So in this first section, I talk about the importance of developing a lights out and consistent jump shot. Being able to shoot the basketball opens up so much in terms of scoring more points. If we look at a player like Stephen Curry he has catapulted himself into the upper echelon of players in the NBA simply because of how deadly he is shooting the ball. His shotmaking ability not only helps him score more points but it also opens up so much offensively for the Golden State Warriors insanely good offense! So my first key to becoming an unguardable basketball player is to make sure you have your jump shot dialed in!
After we dive into the importance of developing a great jump shot I give you guys 3 elite basketball shooting drills. These basketball shooting drills not only will help you optimize your basketball shooting form, but they will also simulate shots you will get in an actual game setting!
My second scoring tip to make any player unguardable is to have a "reactive handle". This simply means to have a handle tight enough that at any point you can counter whatever the defense or defender is doing to you in that scenario. If we look at the top ball handlers in the NBA think of guys like Kyrie Irving and Stephen Curry. Both players dictate how they move and what moves they want to do based on how the defense is playing them. So to truly take your scoring to the next level you must have elite ball-handling skills that help you get by any defender.
After I talk about the importance of developing a reactive handle I dive into 3 elite ball-handling drills to really help you develop your ball handling ability! These drills can certainly help you develop a game like a handle that will help you in any situation score more points.
My third basketball scoring tip to make any player unguardable is "finishing high" finishing is also one of the undervalued aspects of becoming a truly elite scorer on the basketball court! Across the NBA players are more athletic than ever before so the ability to finish high on the backboard is crucial especially if you are a smaller guard! In the NBA guys who are smaller think of Kyrie Irving and Kemba Walker both are undersized for NBA standards however both guards have become elite scorers and a huge reason why is because they have mastered the ability to finish in any situation. So the last thing I walk you guys through is 3 elite finishing drills to really skyrocket your basketball finishing skills!
As always make sure you are paying close attention to these basketball scoring tips so when the time comes you can really expand your game to the next level! Watch the video all the way through and implement these scoring tips into your game today!

What grade you in? I just got into 9th and made the team every year in middle school. I was the second best player on my team scoring and assist bound. (I had 6 triple doubles) my tryouts haven't happened yet but I'm going for JV I'm only 5'9 though. I need to work on my in game shot as I can't be driving to the rim when I'm 5'9 in HS. I'm watching alot of shooting videos and my tryouts are on November 9th so I nervous.

I have a tip if you see the opponent reposition his hand on the ball he is going for a crossover. Reposition your hand in there and you will almost always get a steal. Another tip if the opponent is an explosive driver opponent back up and cut off his dominant hand. (Which you can figure out by which hand he first uses when getting the ball). But if he is a good shooter and not a very good driver (which is common as most players in early stages are one dimensional) then get up on him and leave a slight square to your right. hope this helps you!

I feel because I am much smaller than average and haven't hit a growth spurt, I'm always being shut down and just completely unable to anything against defenders because they are so much bigger than me, they always play very aggressive and rough defense because I can shoot, and it's kinda depressing me falling to the ground and having to bail out pass every time I get the ball, I'm just not really sure how to stop that because of my size.
(Edit) also everytime I mention this to other people they just say break them down with handles, and I can really handle the ball, but every time I make a move to get past them, they just shuffle into me and block me from going any further
