- Here's my attempt at the music played during the "That's One Hell of a Bird" scene from the episode "Heaven Sent".
Originally I had no plan to release this, as It was my first attempt at this piece, so it might be a bit little sloppy at times. Anyways some people wanted me to upload it so here it is. - Видеоклипы
"If you think because she is dead that I am weak you understand very little. If you are in any way responsible for her death and you are not afraid, you understand nothing at all. So for your own sake, understand this: I am the Doctor, I'm coming to find you, and I will never ever stop."
Sometimes I hear this in the voice of Liam Neeson.
Can’t hide from The Doctor
@@Deathtroopers09 "The Universe is a very small place when I'm angry with you." - THE Doctor
James McBryan Back when things were good.
How many more doctor, how many have to die in your name.
"It's a little sloppy."
Now that's just plain incorrect.
No. He is right in his self-assessment.
SevScout You wanna try bud?
You may think that's one hell of an episode.
Personally, I think that's one hell of a score.
In my opinion, this is one hell of a soundtrack recreation.
you can
Peter Capaldi THE BEST DOCTOR EVER
From the first episode I knew he's going to be MY Doctor... In this episode he's shown me, that he's ALWAYS going to be my Doctor...
Yes my too, but my favourite Doctor is Tennant though.
+william belcher Yup 😢
I've got to agree. It was something you just feel. For example, Matt Smith, who got me into the show, got me from his very first episode. He will always be my Doctor, but not exactly in that special way. This is something you just feel. So when I first began watching Spearhead from Space, I just knew this guy was going to ultimately be MY Doctor. Like you said, this is something you just *feel*.
And so soon OMG nuuu! Why did he have to announce he's leaving?!
It's been the actors' decision to leave during all those moments. Basically all the "new" era Doctors have left the show of their own volition and decision, and not being asked or told to leave. They've always just felt that it was the best time for them to leave the series, when they've been "enjoying it the most", so as to not get to the point where it starts feeling like a chore and it be something they'd hate doing.
"Oh there it is. Silly old universe. The more I save it the more it needs saving. It's a treadmill. Yes, I know they'd get it all wrong without me. I suppose one more lifetime wouldn't kill anyone. Well, except me."
numpteez | "Never be cruel, never be cowardly! And never ever eat pears! Remember, hate is foolish. But love is always wise."
“Always try to be nice, but never fail to be kind! Oh and.. and you mustn’t tell anyone your name, no one will understand it anyways, except children, children can hear it sometimes if their hearts are in the right place, and the stars are too.. children can hear your name. But nobody else, nobody else ever! Laugh Hard, Run Fast, Be kind,
Doctor I let you go..”
My heart broke into a million pieces when he regenerated.
Best doctor who story that we've had for a long time. I knew Capaldi could pull it off!!
I found David"s 3 season story line was better
To be honest , Capaldi can pull off anything really well.
Agreed. He's been great as The Doctor but he really pulled off a real tour de force in Heaven Sent.
+Lucas The PK Master
Yes Capaldi can! He's going to be remembered as one of the best Doctors in the the first 60 years of the series. I believe he is an equal to Tom Baker.
John
I think Heaven Sent should've been the finale. Moffat didn't know what to do in the final episode except "Gallifrey is back, Clara is back". That's not a plot though. We never got an explanation for Gallifrey's return in Hell Bent and Clara got a proper goodbye already.
when the 12th doctor regenerate they should play this song
ecwdown hell of yes! It's his long song or his vale decem.
I'm guessing what ever it is he's protecting...Is going to kill him :'(
"How long can I keep doing this, Clara? Burning the old me, to make a
new one?"
ecwdown Guess what...
so they did...
I don't think I'm actually capable of not listening to this on repeat
A new scientific study proves that it is, in fact, actually impossible to not listen to this on repeat.
I'm so happy they used the theme for his regeneration, but they just edited it a little bit to make it sound more better like a regeneration, and they did an amazing job with it!!!! BBC -- YOUR! BRILLIANT!!!
you're*
Spoilerrrrs
They really didn't edit it much. All they did is cut out the beginning of the track.
They remove that horn or jazz guitar in the beginning then later on it brings back all the instruments back in their places, especially that one part when the guitar comes to life :)
Who's here from Peters regeneration?
Oh there it is, Silly Old Universe, the more I save it the more it needs saving, it's a treadmill. Yes, yes I know they'll get it all wrong without me. Well I suppose one more lifetime wouldn't kill anyone, Well except me. You wait a moment, Doctor! Let's get it right! I've got a few things to say to you. Basic Stuff first: Never be cruel and Never be cowardly and Never ever eat any pears! Remember that hate is always foolish and love is always wise. Always try to be nice but never fail to be kind. Oh and you mustn't tell anyone your name. No one would ever understand it anyway. Except... Except Children. Children can hear it sometimes...if their hearts are in the right place and the stars are too. Children can hear your name, but nobody else...nobody else, ever! Laugh Hard, Run Fast, Be Kind. Doctor, I let you go!
Oh, brilliant!
Goodbye 12, you will never be forgotten
People were so harsh on capaldi but he was and always will be, brilliant
@@LPSKYWKR Honestly Capaldi as the Doctor did a great job imo. It's just some of the stories and moments that he had to work with that people dislike. For example, shooting a random Time Lord general and disregarding regeneration as Gallifreyan "man flu".
I'd go as far as to say Colin Baker was a good Doctor too, but he suffered from bad stories and the show's budget being at an all time low.
Tell me you guys read this in his lovely voice? XD god I loved Capaldi, he was the best doctor ♥️😭
*message sending: from casiller to the TARDIS*
Now that your time is closing fast
Let us embrace one last time of the past
Remember the clever girl and her burned souffles
Remember your gruffy yet whimsical ways
Remember Me and her sense of adventure
Remember Missy and her grand overture
Remember the strumming chords
Remember the conquered time lords
Remember the melodies of the rivers
Remember the mysteries that gave you the shivers
Remember the class of coal hill school
Remember that you were always a mad fool
Remember of the pot's curiousness and spunk
Remember the little boy turned hero
Remember the red coat of a friend that was never considered a zero
Think of the running and how you believe
Think of the stars that were never seen
The chalkboard will be erased
The guitar will be cased
Strum these last 12 notes
And let us hold to all on to our hopes
My Doctor, my Doctor
You and me on the last page
Your last time on the center stage
Now the curtain's come to a close
13 is yet to begin their prose
_thank you, number 12_
_run you clever girl and be a doctor_

Love it. Shame about 13
Wow. That was beautiful
Was this before or after Dr. Who turned into a progressive skinsuit and betrayed everything the show ever was?
True beauty!
TheGaroStudios Do a collab!
Plz
MajorCvikljee That would be cool
Garo studio is awesome
One of Murray Gold's best ever pieces, and your best yet too! Awesome stuff.
I hope they use this tune for Capaldi's regeneration and pick this version. Fantastic.👍
Well they used it in the series 10 finale which I have to say was my favourite part of The Doctor Falls as I felt the episode itself was a little half baked.
Lord Slarr and the regeneration it is in!!!
He told the future
We must praise the god
Quick question: *How many seconds are in eternity?*
There’s this emperor, and he asks the shepherd’s boy how many seconds in eternity. And the shepherd’s boy says, ‘There’s this mountain of pure diamond. It takes an hour to climb it and an hour to go around it, and every hundred years a little bird comes and sharpens its beak on the diamond mountain. And when the entire mountain is chiseled away, the first second of eternity will have passed.’ You may think that’s a hell of a long time. Personally, I think that’s a hell of a bird.
Yeesh, was there some loading problems there?
VT Had me laughing
A lot
The funny thing is the shepherd's boy never actually answered the question. He just answered 'when would eternity begin?'
This music means so much more now that Peter Capaldi has left the TARDIS. I cry almost every time. And laugh at his silliness. And wish there was more. And wish that the scripts might have been better for such an amazing actor. But I am grateful for the time we did have and I marvel in nostalgia every time I hear music like this. To me he delivered every line and speech so masterfully and emotionally, it was perfect.
So thank you for this, it was so brilliantly put together. The Doctor would be proud of you, sir.
Oh, there it is. Silly old universe. The more I save it the more it needs saving. It’s a treadmill.
Yes, yes I know they’ll get it all wrong without me.
Well, I suppose…. one more lifetime won’t kill anyone. Well, except me.
You wait a moment, Doctor. Let’s get it right. I’ve got a few things to say to you. Basic stuff first.
Never be cruel, never be cowardly. And never ever eat pears! Remember - hate is always foolish… and love, is always wise.
Always try, to be nice and never fail to be kind. Oh, and…. and you mustn’t tell anyone your name. No-one would understand it anyway. Except….
Except…. children. Children can hear it. Sometimes - if their hearts are in the right place, and the stars are too. Children can hear your name.
But nobody else. Nobody else. Ever.
Laugh hard. Run fast. Be kind.
Doctor - I let you go.
I wonder if there are people here like me who spent too much time listening to the unreleased cut-from-the-episode version and can not unhear the Doctor's cries and speech. "And the shepherd's boy says..."
But it's an amazing rendition! I may turn to it many more times for advice when trying to play this on my violin. Thank you so much for doing this, it's a fantastic rendition!
That's one hell of a bird
Holy shit! This sounds just like the episode version. Very well done!
The most emotional episode of Doctor Who... I loved so much Twelve. He became MY Doctor. I'm going to miss him so much. Peter Capaldi is a great actor!
EDIT:Spoiler if you haven't watched season 10 finale
Oh when I realised what song was going on in the background when the doctor was blowing up cybermen in the finale
MrAnderson I had to hit the pause button and sort of mentally prepare myself for that. Best part of the finale.
Me too, bro. That Scene was amazing. I also had to bring myself in the mood and paused for about 15 seconds ... so f**king emotional ...
Just some brilliant Capaldi as usual
Jodie maybe taking over but Peter capaldi will always be my DOCTOR and this music is just beautiful...
Oh my TimeLord, I just miss Doctor Who so much
Why in the ring of Akathen Steven couldn't stay
We needed a good writer. I feel like the actual showrunner just stole the Doctor Who spirit.
I'm just going to listen to this until the soundtrack is released in 4 1/2 billion years.
You're probably not too far off in your estimate
Samuel Allen I hear that. Let's break the wall while we wait.
It'll be released when Trump's wall is built.
Grand ɪo in 4.5 billion years
Grand ɪo The Soundtrack is done when the "BER" Airport is finished.
For god's sake, it's absolutly brilliant. I've ben looking for this soundtrack for 2 weeks. The original one hasn't been released yet, and this is the most perfect version I've listened to
Heaven Sent is just perfect and so realistic, puzzling. Just feels dude.
“That’s one *hell* of a bird !” *Beautiful* ! Oh Thor, this is why I *love* Doctor Who.
Absolutely stunning rendition of this breathtaking piece, if this is an attempt then I simply can't wait for your further releases!
I'm glad they used this song while 12th's last speech and regeneration scene.. This song is so beautiful 😍
Elkanah Koletkar IKR! ❤️
Marvelous as always mate
Xd your the same person aren't you :P it's is marvelous though yeah
+TempestProduction Lol
+TimelordGamingForever Afternoon gentlemen
+TempestProduction Hey Dod, how's the server?
+Silver Spire TDT Probably a ghost town without me ;)
Personally, I think that's a hell of a Doctor..... THE doctor, you might say.
@@physicallynonexistent can you even Time Lord? Jeez, I was egotistical when I was younger.
This is so beautiful, and makes the fact that we're probably never getting the series 9 soundtrack even more tragic
The actual name of the Soundtrack, I recall, is "The Shepherd's Boy". I don't understand the context of the name, but I will ALWAYS remember the feelings it invoked. The details of this episode as a whole, and this scene. I grew up with new Who, I started with 9, fell in love with 10, laughed and cringed at 11, but 12 always felt out of place, even though Capaldi is a GREAT actor and filled the role so well... and then... Hell Bent and Heaven Sent happen.
Especially Heaven Sent. Especially the "How many seconds in eternity?" speech, and this theme. And all my fears were assuaged. This was the Doctor I always loved, this was what Capaldi brought in his acting, this was the character in its purist, what the 12th Doctor truly was. This was an episode, and specifically, a scene, that sold the 12th Doctor for me...
It was sad to see the good character of Bill go to waste with pretty rough writing after this arc, and for them to sort of slip back on what they created, but if Hell Bent and Heaven Sent and the end of the Clara arc didn't give us THIS? I think I'd have never finished watching Capaldi's run.
Thank you for this stunning rendition of the theme, and for the memories of one of the BEST scenes in all of Doctor Who, even as a die-hard 10th doctor fan.
Edit: I totally forgot the track's title is a reference to the speech, adding that in, don't mind meeee, don't feel like correcting myself so tagging this on, hah.
Added note, sort of to assure replies, I did just realize this is a rendition of the /regeneration/ reprise of the theme, which WAS called "Breaking the Wall". The episode version and the regeneration version were slightly different.
Extra note, why did they use 9's theme for the reveal of Jodie's doctor? That cut me.
The context is twofold really. The first of course being that there's an actual tale called The Shepard's Boy where his explanation of the bird wearing down a mountain by sharpening its beak on it once a year comes from. The second being a bit from an episode where she's allowed to witness a bit of the doctor's past where he hid out in a barn and cried every night as a boy, suggesting a meager beginning indeed for this cycle of the doctor's existence. A shepard's boy perhaps.
@@WinterRoseASFR1 That makes a lot more sense, now that that context is clear, especially the scene from that episode revealing that piece of the Doctor's past, that point in his many lives that was comparatively simple, where he was just a "Shepard's Boy". I didn't know of the actual folktale, but that honestly only sort of brings the reference in the previous episode back to such an important point in the actions in this episode, and his /telling/ the folk-tale, even if sort of in a personal way. Because it /is/ personal. He /is/ the bird, AND the boy.
I did not think this tune could be more epic... I was wrong. Well done!
Doctor... I let you go.
Will it take longer for the doctor to break the wall or for the series 9 soundtrack to be released
A year later we still wait for series 10.
Late 2020 and still no Series 10 soundtrack.
Only a confirmation by Gold that it will come out eventually.
In my eyes this should be brought back for capaldi's regeneration
I think it would be a good build up
Speaking of the devil...
That sounds beautiful! Well done on recreating this track! :)
WOW! I just stumbled upon your fan-made music of Doctor Who--well done!! I enjoyed them all! Thanks for all of your hard work!!
For the love of God never take this down. Brilliant job.
Thanks so much for putting this together, best 'good man' music compilation on youtube!
This is easily your best work. Excellent song, beautifully remade. :D
And he remembers it all!
Don't die. Because it you do. The whole universe might just get cold. "Can't I rest?"
😭
Speechless.
Molto bene!
Until you said speechless
Precioso. Magnífico trabajo. ¡Muchas gracias!
Makes perfect sense that the 12th Doctor would regenerate to this song.
It's a hell of a soundtrack, congrats for the work.
Absolutely brilliant, brilliant recreation, brilliant episode
This is one of the best things ever. You did a fantastic job recreating this. Thank you.
Dude, I don't like to listen to "fan made" recreation. But yours is purely awesome. Sounds of the instruments sound real and it's well executed.
(Just saying, they used this theme tune in "The Day Of The Doctor". Did anyone ever pick up on this except me haha)
JL_ROBLOX where tho?
BBGaming&Tutorials i believe it’s when the three doctors are in the tardis and have just figured out how to save gallifrey
It was a piece from the song "This Time There's Three of Us" not this full one.
Yesss when they are at the barn. After Eleventh says “I change my mind”
Wow, this was awesome! So glad you posted it!
You did a fantastic job! This is phenomenal.
I think your rendition of the main theme at the end of the video is my favorite version of it of all time. I especially love the Middle 8!
Personnaly, I think it is the music of a bird !
Absolutely amazing. You have a real talent here mate!
I love you for this Track! Absolutly well done. Thanks a very, very lot!!!
That's one hell of a soundtrack. Thank you so much!
And then "heaven sent" Connor Hickling.
dude...you fucking nailed it, absolutely beautiful man, thank you.
I love this - suits twelve really well
This is a beautiful recreation. Thank you
After 5 Years i have still to say: Thank you.
This was epic
I am so not ready for his regeneration.
there are a couple instruments in the original that are missing (like flutes/clarinets) but GODDAMIT, holy gallifry, you still managed to make your own version stunningly beautiful!
I had a flute and Piccolo in there. I may have skipped out on the Clarinet though haha.
*****
I still think what you did was very original and hard to stop abusing the repeat button ^^
Sounds incredible!
Excellent!! Thank you for your hard work in recreating this sound track minus the special sound effects. John
That was amazing. Always love violins! And you added a brighter style to the score too. Even more uplifting than the original! Awesome work.
I still love you for this!
Very, very nice, man. Gave me chills.
amazing work thank you
God... I can't stop listening to this. Great work, man! One question, what software do you use for projects such as this one?
Thanks! I use Mixcraft 6 Pro
Thank you, Mr. Hickling!!
that's one hell of a soundtrack
Superb !
You know when you listen to a song and you get chills? Yeah... This one. This one does it. *AMAZING JOB*
wow , i don’t know
what to say ! this is beautiful ❤️
This is stunning.
"Oh, there it is, silly old universe. The more I save it the more it needs saving. It's a treadmill..."
This is in no way sloppy my good man. Stop being hard on yourself this is a great created peace.
Fantastic! Absolutely fantastic!
“You wait a moment, doctor, let’s get this right, I’ve got a few things to say to you, basic stuff first: never be cruel never be cowardly and never ever eat pears, remember hate is always foolish and love is always wise, always try to be nice but never fail to be kind, oh and you mustn’t tell anyone your name, no one would understand it anyway, except children, children can hear it sometimes if their hearts are in the right place and the stars are too, children can hear your name, but nobody else, nobody else ever, laugh hard, run fast, be kind, doctor I let you go”
Wow, this is amazing, this is better than the one in the show itself, and that's saying something, this nearly brought a tear to my eyes:) Keep up the great work mate, and i can't wait to hear more of your amazing music. Also, if i may ask, what software did you use to make this?
All you guys need a psychologist...
It's the most beautiful track ever. Among all tracks this one has stood out the best.
And most emotional.
Will always love this track...
Absolutely fantastic !!!
*Quick sidenote! There is released version of this... But at The same Time there isn't. This exact music was also used in "The Day of The Doctor" and The Song is called "this time there's three of us.*
Different arrangements of the same melody. Breaking the Wall feels far different from This Time There’s Three of Us despite having the same melody.
Peter Korman Yeah. That's what I meant. I sounds much sadder, but it has the same melody. Just put your video speed to 1.25, and it should sound good. :D
Awesome music, great work!
this is so well done
that episode was just brilliant, my favorite doctor who start
best episode iv seen on TV for a long time :-)
This is fantastic
Amazing job Connor!
How many seconds are in eternity is what I think when I realise that the Series 9 soundtrack still hasn't been released.
It's coming out early 2018 it think.
that is beautiful! well done! :)
Very authentic-sounding reconstruction. :-)
For me Capaldi was a Best actor for Played The Doctor
Me too
