Great chase! You got out ahead of the storm and avoided the police blockade. My wife and I were there when the storm passed through Colby but were following and saw rain wrapped tornado. When we tried to pursue a line of traffic stopped us and we didn't find an alternate route as we were relative newbies to this hobby. Congrats on your success.
I had a perfect view of that from the other direction and lost it in the hook after it hit Selden. That storm was nuts! Great seeing it from your vantage poimt farther east!
I will never understand storms. The first house you showed in the aftermath, roof gone, but the hummingbird feeder in the front yard and the table and chairs in the driveway…untouched.
I was at the storm, and my friends and I had to move as we were in the path. Rated an EF-1, but had it formed sooner, it probably would've drove right through Selden. It produced winds over Ef-1 rating I believe, but the amounts of damage just were not present.
@@t.ellevision Im from Kansas and have seen my fair share of tornadoes and their destruction. The one shown indicates damage in the strong EF1 category.
@@steveparker2938 I used to live in what they call "tornado alley" been through many tornadoes myself. You'd think something that massive would be considered higher rated so strange how weather works.
So, where in this video is he in the way of emergency vehicles. Every time I saw an emergency vehicle he was on the shoulder or pulling on to the shoulder well in advance of them. Did I miss something?
How have I not seen this guys work is beyond me, but very happy I stumbled upon this channel. Great job all around!
One of the best weather vids I have ever seen. Felt like I was there.

Looks like fun

You totally missed a roof being sucked off when you left about after fire trucks!!!!
How much it cost to run with chasers?

Wow wow wow 🇰🇭🇰🇭🇰🇭🇰🇭💝
it was classified an EF1
WHAAAA!?

@@t.ellevision with the advent of the EF scale, things changed
@@steveparker2938 oh ok thank you I didnt realize that. So how exactly do they classify them now? Just by the damage?
Good boy
👍🏻
wtf is this an invisible tornado????
It definitely wasn't invisible, but tornados are wind. What you typically see is the dirt and debris that is sucked into the swirling winds.
As a person of sheridan county, please stay out of the way of a fire units next time, thank you
As a citizen of Earth and a retired firefighter, please listen to Buzzle. Only think bigger.

his vehicle was on the side of the road at 7:50 so he was not in the way therefore there wasn't any need for this comment
The popo is going to arrest y'all's tornado.
