- A trailer of my hack of Metroid 2 that recreates the original Metroid that is currently in development. Made between the release of Beta 2.3 and 2.4

There was a rather thorough ROM Hack for Metroid 2 that made a "DX" version that essentially gave it a GameBoy Color pallet, will be seeing such a thing in the final release of this? I see the color title screen at 1:48 but that could be open to interpretation
Basically I want to play this on my Analogue Pocket, but playing it in living color would be ideal, so that way I can stream it on Twitch

Such a great idea and execution! I just played through Metroid 2 for the first time in my life a couple weeks ago, and I loved it and was blown away by its deepness and forward-thinking.
So I would totally love to play the first Metroid, which I didn't play, in the form of Metroid 2 hack.

Please add auto-heath regeneration. Then you can use fast forward to regain your health instead of farming which ruins the game. Metroid on Gameboy looks amazing. I hope you'll make a cartridge for this as well. Very exciting
No auto healing, but there will be refill points
So I get it that at 1:46 it's confirmation that a GBC version will also be made?
Looking into adding Super Gameboy or Gameboy Color support, unfortunately, at the moment, it seems unlikely. That screenshot was edited outside of the game.

Update: SGB functionality has been added, includes custom borders and palettes that change per area 🎉
