I totally agree with your points but also adding none of the girls are from big companies so i think the companies were ok with the contract extension since they dont have groups or plans for the girls to return to except for Mashiro and Yeseo. Honestly i feel really bad for the girls theyve been let down at every turn by their company and fans, at this point i'm hoping it'll get better but i'm expecting the worst.
I really like Kep1er they're a great group and have great title tracks! Wa Da Da, Up!, Galileo, Straight Line & Shooting Star are great title tracks! They're a slow burn group who are slowly rising the top! People forget that sometimes it can take a while before an artist reaches a high peak of success look at Sabrina Carpenter shes been making music since 2015 and she didnt get mainstream success until 2023!
The case of Kep1er is so sad. We all know that Wk1 will not treat right because of the reasons that you explain.... Nevertheless, I think that this extension is for a World Tour and, maybe, a last comeback. For their respective company, I think that some of them search for good trainees (imagine they recruit RU next and Iland2 popular trainees) based on Kep1er 's members (for example, it's sure that IST wants to create a new group with Hiyyih). Besides that, thank you for your video❤ (and sorry for my English)
I totally understand why fans are sad Mashiro and Yeseo aren't renewing since Kep1er is losing 2 members, but honestly as a non fan I'm glad they're leaving. I've always felt like Kep1er didn't allow the members to truly showcase their whole potential, like I've been following Yeseo since she was in Busters and it always seemed like she couldn't shine properly (same for all members). I was hoping the girls could redebut after Kep1er and finally get to show us all they've got, but I guess it's not happening... Also 143 were always very clear about the fact that Yeseo and Mashiro would join Limelight after Kep1er, so I don't get why everyone is so surprised, plus Limelight have some great songs and I'm sure the girls will do well with them ❤️
We don’t know for how long the extention is, zzZz it might be for only one more comeback after the recent one. Extending must be some strategic.. maybe buying some more time? Maybe some will go to different company’s after the extention It does give the ot7 girls some space and “more” chance to show their worth. Although i think Yeseo and Mashiro wouldve extend aswell if they werent already lined up for Limelight. Im excited about Yeshiro’s future in Limelight, ill miss them very much in kep1er. Also excited to see what ot7 will figure out for us
you guys do realise kep1er staying together is probably one of the most smartest ideas right? cause what if they DID go back to their original companies who have zero upcoming ggs to debut? and yeshiro leaving is just going to damage them and limelight cause look at i.o.i and gugudan. kep1er were no iz*one and y’all like to shove that in our faces so their post debuts may have not been as successful but staying in an established group with an opportunity to keep moving up? yeah deep it

When you said "the more successful the group are, the less likely it is for them to extent their contract" really let me think about it. The sentence sounds so weird but it`s actually right. But for permament groups it`s kinda the opposite and thats so interesting. When a permanent group like BTS, Enhypen or whatever are that successful, it`s very likely for them to stay together especially when it`s a boygroup (for girlgroups it`s a different story oh well) but for a temporary group it makes sense to disband because their labels want them back. this topic is so confusing because everything is the complete opposite of permanent groups. I hope what i said made sense. I don`t know how to keep in into words xD
You're right, because when it comes to permanent groups, the more successful they are, the more their company benefits from it, whereas when it comes to temporary groups, the agencies of each trainee all have to split the same income and even if that group is successful it's not like each company directly benefits from it all that much. That's why they are always so eager to pull their successful trainees out of these project groups. It's almost funny because if you are a big fan of a temporary group you should kinda hope they don't make it that big, otherwise they'll never have a chance to stay together 😭
Oh, Kep1er's extension is definitely due to their lack of popularity and their individual agency's lack of plans. Why would the seven girls want to head back to their companies' dungeons? Wakeone will do some small things to appease the members, but I doubt they'll get many comebacks when I Land 2's group debuts.
As a Kep1ian, I'm hoping Mashiro and Yeseo moving to 143 Entertainment will be as new members the name MADEIN formerly LIMELIGHT to redebut. I swear there were some alleged videos of Kep1er disbandment predictions and I'm so tired of it… the seven members had extended their contracts will have future plans of WAKEONE, but when will kpop stans have to stop hating them and misunderstanding that this isn't bad tho??
The thing that scares me is the idea that kep1ers downfall was wakeones plan so they don’t loose them and extend their contract, it’s sickening just thinking about it cuz how could you get back all the big attention kep1er got during their debute?, they were literally the first 4th gen gg to have the biggest sales in the first week or day, I even forgot the exact thing but WakeOne truly should’ve DONE better
What else can we do? We hate the company, but love the girls. They chose to leave or stay, even if they felt like they had no choice, so we should stop supporting them? This is their work and passion, I’d rather support them.
I don’t think their debut was a flop didn’t they set the record for girl group sales back then? Also won music bank and 2 x mcountdown during wadada era, they started going down hill from we fresh era though for sure but I will continue to support the girls. You can’t blame company for putting more attention to ZB1 though they are leading 5th gen boy groups in terms of popularity but seems Sleepone about to f it up too.
Honestly at first I was really surprised by Hiyyih, Xiaoting and Yujin's decision to renew cause they are the members with most popularity and fanbase. Yujin could've focused on her acting career but when I think about it it seems that Ke1er is Yujin's last group and we know she loves being an idol so this is her last chance to live her life in a group as an idol. It is just my assumption but I'm pretty sure Hiyyih and Xiaoting are the most sort after members many companies must have tried to sign them, they could've gone into company with better management and pr team who would actually promote them properly, but they decided to stay and my biggest guess is wakeone or the management most probably promised them to give better treatment or offered them something, I don't mean to sound rude to any member but if I think from a business perspective, among the remaining 7 Hiyyih and Xiaoting are the most valuable ones, they have the most important thing which is needed in Kpop industry to survive- Beauty, Popularity, already existing fanbase and they are talented as well. Without them Kep1er won't be able to survive with 4 members, no doubt Chaehyun, Dayeon, Youngeun and Hikaru are very talented I'd say they are the most talented members but we all know kpop is not just about talent if you can't attract fans and make them stay then you simply won't survive in the cut throat competition. I also think that their companies didn't have any plans for them yet so its better to promote in Kep1er for time being and gain more fans instead of disbanding and staying inactive.
No like I feel so bad for Bahiyyih (and the other girls of course) but most especially Hiyyih. I’ve never seen someone who just shines so naturally but is under a company who can do absolutely nothing for her. I have not the slightest idea why she decided to renew her contract fr😭 Like she should be in a company who sees her potential and utilizes it to its fullest, she can be so much more than she is now but somehow she doesn’t see it
I’d like to think she knows her worth and knows she could be much bigger. It’s just that she had bad luck with both Wakeone and her company IST entertainment that totally sucks at managing their artists. I doubt they have a plan for her and even if they did i don’t trust them…i kinda hope another company will just buy out her contract from IST and she’ll be under a better agency 😭
I’ve just convinced myself it’s either she denies the extension and sits in ISTs basement for 2+ years or continues with Kepler gets her name more out there and collects a paycheck before going back to IST, who by then should have their shit together for a new group. In a perfect world her contract will be bought out by a bigger company.
@@jooniesun I agree with you. I don't trust IST as well, they didn't do anything to protect her from cyber bullying and they don't promote her at all. But I trust Hiyyih, I feel like she is surrounded by people who will guide her. I'm just hoping she signs under a better/bigger company. I know its a reach but Idk I have two scenarios of her redebut 1. I feel like she will redebut with either Xiaoting or one of popular gp999 trainee or runext trainee. I feel like we will see a familiar face debuting with her like how it happened with Wonyoung-Yujin, Sakura-Chaewon-Yujin. 2. Her next group will be made surrounding/based on her like atleast for 1-2 years she will be the main attraction, center or leader.

Kep1er's debut flopped according to you? Friend, they have 100 million views on their debut MV, WaDaDa went viral everywhere (so much so that its still the song they perform everywhere even until now), and they've broken NUMEROUS records with their debut. Their debut was NOT a flop or even close. IVE didnt even debut at the time, so no - WakeOne never compared them and said 'why weren't they as popular' because IVE didn't even exist yet. There is so much wrong with this video and it's so obvious you did NO research but are coming from an outsiders perspective. Here's the facts: Kep1er exploded on their debut. Did very well. The only 2 misses were that the sound felt outdated and many people complained about the mix of 'girl crush x cute' concept, but they still exploded because they had so many eyes on them as the 1st girl group after the Produce scandals + Bahiyyih's debut. The other miss is that they didn't use Hiyyih & Xiaoting more as those two girls are the main stan attractors, and had the most eyes on them during debut, and it disappointed their fanbases/general public, which are huge numbers. Because Hiyyih had controversy surrounding her, they chose to hide her rather than say 'hey, here's why she debuted'. Which was a huge mistake because it gave the public more reason to dislike her and feel convicted that she shouldn't have debuted. Not due to her lack of talent, but due to the fact that MNet never wanted her to debut and they went through great lengths to hide her during GP999 unless it was using her for HYBE clout, and then due to the controversy THEY CAUSED by hiding her, they hid her further during debut. It ruined her reputation for at least until Giddy era. Kep1er was then sent on Queendom because they aren't as domestically popular as WakeOne would like and they hoped that QD2 would give them more domestic attention - but it was against HUGE sunbae girl groups. Kep1er had never even performed in front of a live audience by then. MNet forced them to read hate comments, and basically confirmed that they only got in because they're an MNet girl group. They got ate up by the competition. Many fans left. But public interest was still there. Up! did well as their first comeback. Due to many fans leaving, it wasn't near the success of WDD, but it still did very well and they sold a very decent amount of albums. The planetary concept was still sprinkled in, though it wasn't as prominent as it was in WDD. The song was well recieved by the public, and there weren't many complaints about the sound. But because it didn't reach the numbers that WakeOne expected, they said 'we have to try something different and we need to go back to the WaDaDa sound'. They released We Fresh. The biggest mistake they ever made. They looked at numbers during Up! instead of public opinion, so they changed - when they should've either followed the MVSK sound or the Up! sound further. They completely threw away the planetary concept and made a random ass MV, with shouty/chanty vibes that called back to 2015, and it was a wreck. The choreo was so fast paced that it couldn't go viral for people trying to do a challenge with it, the song sounded horrible, many of the bsides were lacking besides Lion Tamer/Dreams and only Dreams had a ONE TIME performance at a concert. They lost most of their casual interest, many casual fans left the fandom, and it made only hard-core fans remain. After which, WakeOne finally decided to think about the public opinion - in which they released 'Giddy' and 'Galileo'. Both of which were pretty well received, but they had a lack of attention due to the fact that WakeOne had already ruined these girls reputation as a group - making them known as a girl group with 'bad music' even though it was really only 2 title tracks which were poorly chosen. Shooting Star is finally taking a shot at recovering their reputation and is treating members fairly and has no bad music across the entire album - because they needed to renew because Kep1er never hit the levels of popularity that were needed for their respective companies to want them back (minus LimeLight because they need the fresh eyes on them), and thus they want to make money in the future so they're finally genuinely trying rather than halfheartedly trying. THAT summary would be more correct
I wasn't happy when i heard about the extension, i wanted them to debut in other groups or solos, it doesn't matter what, but i didn't want them to be under wake one anymore
If they get better treatment then this better at least if they can get at least 1 good song maybe some one can stablish a solo career. Honestly yujin should be doing acting on the side I dont know what she is waiting for shes only hurting herself by focusing on idol only career that will die with kepler.she should be multitasking Im hoping the extension has better terms and keeps her in the public eye instead of going silent between acting gigs
Wakeone needs to redebut these girls. Keep the remaining members & find a better concept that works best for each members & start working on their vocals & finding good composers & producers. Kepler is good as the group formed through a survival show. Let them have a new identity, it will be much better.

Literally what you said is so true, like all their fans were complaining not so long ago but suddenly forget about it the moment there is an extension 😂😂
At least if they went back to their respective companies i think they would have been valued much more, while this extension is simply a waste of precious time
I think she’s still under contract with IST entertainment for now and IST didn’t have a plan for her so they just left her in kep1er but once the group disbands it would be pretty cool if Hybe bought her contract, however i don’t think it will happen unless hybe plans to debut another girl group in the near future.

okay girl i'm a zerose and a kep1ian too, and you're embarrassing us. mistreatment is not something to fight about - both Kep1er and ZB1 are mistreated in their own way.
part of the reason they have great music/more budget put into comebacks and promotions/etc. is bc wakeone thinks they can make more money off of them than kep1er...not to say that w1's mistreatment of zb1 members aren't valid bc they seem like a bad company all around, but it's also not unfair to note that since zb1 debuted kep1er has had even less investment put into them...
It's not just about the fact they are talented ( BC kep1er too), this is the fact that since their predebut, we can clearly see small differences between them ( I stan the two groups). This is because bP999 had reached a big audience ( and sympathy) compared to gp999 (favorism, evil editing...) Added to that, we all know this industry expects more for gg as they are more competition. ( we have to remember that Kep1er was the experiment for ZB1).

as a fan of kep1er - im very excited for the extension
I totally agree with your points but also adding none of the girls are from big companies so i think the companies were ok with the contract extension since they dont have groups or plans for the girls to return to except for Mashiro and Yeseo. Honestly i feel really bad for the girls theyve been let down at every turn by their company and fans, at this point i'm hoping it'll get better but i'm expecting the worst.
It won't simply. they are happy, we are happy, the quality of the last album is insane, the Title track is a masterpiece and they found their style.
Yes exactly if the girls want to extend who are we to make the decisions for them.
PERIOD
Let's be real.... this is for the best!
FACTS, Kepler just debuted 2 years ago it takes time to grow people.
Besides that, thank you for your video❤ (and sorry for my English)
same i rlly dont think the contract extention will last forever it will probably be for another two years or so
@@u72174 absolutely but I bet this will last juste 1 years ( or least).
Maybe some will go to different company’s after the extention
It does give the ot7 girls some space and “more” chance to show their worth. Although i think Yeseo and Mashiro wouldve extend aswell if they werent already lined up for Limelight.
Im excited about Yeshiro’s future in Limelight, ill miss them very much in kep1er. Also excited to see what ot7 will figure out for us
Hiyyih said to a fan to trust her choice so let’s not jump into conclusions 😅
you guys do realise kep1er staying together is probably one of the most smartest ideas right? cause what if they DID go back to their original companies who have zero upcoming ggs to debut? and yeshiro leaving is just going to damage them and limelight cause look at i.o.i and gugudan. kep1er were no iz*one and y’all like to shove that in our faces so their post debuts may have not been as successful but staying in an established group with an opportunity to keep moving up? yeah deep it
Not better to Baihyyih, Xiaoting or Hikaru tho. These girls have, respectively: popularity, star quality and a great company.
@@kpoplover-4059 hiyyih's company is the same that ended weeekly's momentum and success 😭 it get she has the popularity, but the management probably wouldn't get any better 🫠
@@ondazboy she could pull a chaewon tho
kpop fandoms are a joke anyway. they are just circumstantial. if you are a multitstan then you practically are not part of neither fandom. just enjoy what you like and shut up if you don't haver anything good to say.
^this
exactly
Yup
TRUEEE
I know its a reach but Idk I have two scenarios of her redebut
Idk why you feel bad for somebody who enjoys being at Wakeone and being in her group Kepler period . Plus she gets to be around her brother and make challenges with him idk why you thought Hiy would give that up to go sit in IST and do nothing. My goodness, y’all don’t really like these girls fr , y’all just want them to sit in obscurity to suit your fantasies.
@@Sandrinarhonda I never knew my comment was so hard to comprehend my goodness! Look at you going way overboard while completely missing the whole point, it’s so embarrassing. How is me wanting Hiyyih at a bigger agency that sees her potential and can utilize it well so she becomes way bigger “suiting my fantasies?” Bro be so fr😭 And what has Kai got to do with this? She can see her brother anywhere & anytime, it looks like the entire point flew past your empty head. Go back to school and don’t stress people like this!
Playa playa love the channel u b right about a lot of stuff but I know GOD heard my prayers when I wanted mashiro & yesso in lime light & the rest of Kepler to stay together, Kepler has no doubt found their sound, if they sounded like they do now when they debut they would be way more popular but its not like they not popular & don't sell records & lime light is dope AF & bought to get super fly ❤ wow GOD so loved the world we didn't lose kep1er 😊🎉❤
Here's the facts:
Kep1er exploded on their debut.
Unless the contract extension says it's longer than usual, then maybe that's why 143 declined.
Justice for Kep1er😢
I love how people say "no hating", yet proceeds to set them up for failure even though they just renewed their contract.
genuinely asking, how long is the extension contract gonna be for the seven members of Kep1er? is it gonna be seven years like most groups?
wow thanks a lot for supporting kep1er. negativity is ridiculous. kep1er is stronger than ever, and a new beginning is just what they need. yall be comparing them to other groups like you probably compare yourself to other people. kep1er is doing their own thing and growing at their own pace, and this for them is only another opportunity for growth. fck haters
There’s a difference between being negative and being realistic. The truth is that things are not gonna suddenly turn great just cause they extended the contract, but somehow people think they will
EXACTLY just so unnecessarily rude
Literally what you said is so true, like all their fans were complaining not so long ago but suddenly forget about it the moment there is an extension 😂😂
Am I the only one who thinks Kep1er should reboot as an 11 member group? Here's who I would add: Bora, Myah, Yurina, and Sury.
I never wanted them to extend. I want Hiyyih and Xiaoting out of there asap.

Wait the extension can be just for months ? I thought it immediately meant a year 😂😂
I am not hating on Kep1er but now that 7 remaining members renewed their contracts, they will have a massive downfall.
At least if they went back to their respective companies i think they would have been valued much more, while this extension is simply a waste of precious time
as a very uneducated fan, why doesnt bahhiyih i cant spell her name but why doesnt she just join hybe if her bros in there.
I think she’s still under contract with IST entertainment for now and IST didn’t have a plan for her so they just left her in kep1er but once the group disbands it would be pretty cool if Hybe bought her contract, however i don’t think it will happen unless hybe plans to debut another girl group in the near future.
With all the scandals Hybe is going through, it would not be the best idea either.

You think the companies genuinely care about the girls getting mismanaged? If they did they would have intervened in the past 2 years but they did nothing. Let’s be real the only reason they agreed to the extension is because they have no idea what to do with their trainees.

THE COMPANY DID THEM SO BAD WITH THEIR SONGS I HOPE THEY GET BETTER SONGS
I ONLY CARE ABT YOUNGEUN BUT IM HAPPY YESEO LEFT BUT IM SAD CUZ SHE MIGHT JOIN LIMELIGHT
BUT ZB1 ARE MORE TALENTED AND BETTER AND THEY HAVE BETTER MUSIC THAN KEP1 SO THEY DESERVE THE TREATMENT AND THEY DONT EVEN TREAT THEM WELL LIKE FOR EXAMPLE WHEN THE STAFF SHOUTED AT RICKY
kep1er is also talented and have good music lmfao and kep1er also got mistreated by the w1 staff so...
okay girl i'm a zerose and a kep1ian too, and you're embarrassing us. mistreatment is not something to fight about - both Kep1er and ZB1 are mistreated in their own way.
part of the reason they have great music/more budget put into comebacks and promotions/etc. is bc wakeone thinks they can make more money off of them than kep1er...not to say that w1's mistreatment of zb1 members aren't valid bc they seem like a bad company all around, but it's also not unfair to note that since zb1 debuted kep1er has had even less investment put into them...
@@u72174 THEY AINT TALENTED NAME A GOOD VOCALIST OTHER THAN CHAEHYUN YOUNGEUN LMFAOOOO
It's not just about the fact they are talented ( BC kep1er too), this is the fact that since their predebut, we can clearly see small differences between them ( I stan the two groups). This is because bP999 had reached a big audience ( and sympathy) compared to gp999 (favorism, evil editing...)
Added to that, we all know this industry expects more for gg as they are more competition.
( we have to remember that Kep1er was the experiment for ZB1).
They should’ve disband. I feel no matter what they do, they just came off the wrong foot. Xiaoting is the only one who could join another group which has strong fan base. The rest are ok but nothing special
