Ioniq 5N's simulated sound is not equal level to other company's EV fake sound such as porsche taycan. Hundai have created simulated gear change. They simulated exactly how you drive manual ICE car. Many car youtubers who test drove Ioniq 5N, they said it doesn't feel it's EV instead it feels exactly driving manual gear ICE car. The reason why Hyundai made like that is because of motor sports. With EV, it's hard to realize speed when you driving it. Many people who drive their cars on track, they understand their speed by sound. It is nature of human beings that we cannot recognize our speed without other signs relate to current speed. This is why Simulated engine sound and gear are crucial on attacking corners on track. It is very promising that other makers will copy what Hyundai have accompleted with simulated engine sound and gear. Ferrari will definately do it. Lambo will also. And AMG, M will also definately. ICE cars will be gone forever and EV era will come. And motor sports will be run by EV that time. Hyundai have established law of how EV should be like in motor sports. Simulated gear change and sound is not only things on ioniq 5N. 0.6 g force braking with pure regenerative and track control are also very crucial. Ioniq 5N is heavy like other EVs. ioniq 5N weighs 2.2 tones. But all drivers claims that ioniq 5N drives like 1.8 tones. Why is that? because superior traction control system with motor control units and help of 0.6 g-force regen breaking system that brakes never get tires. Hyundai have given homeworks to other car manufacturers to copy down Ioniq 5N. If other companies want to start sports cars with EV, they have to copy ioniq 5N exactly. But that will take more than 10 years. Because battery management tech and this kind of powerful regen braking tech are no jokes.
dont understand why people want to hear an annoying sound while driving weather its a track car or not i love the whining of my tesla when i floor it I cant stand these cars that sound like weed wackers never understood what people like about it
Like that they make a performance model and the new design features are cool. But I have to say I hate the fake sound. One of the best part about an EV is that it is silent - you just feel the power. The sound is only for "old fashion" drivers that "need" to hear the combustion engine ;)
You may have a point. A race driver uses the sound to "gauge" the engine power. But in other EVs, like my EV6, I think the sound is foolish. But I have to find a dealer that have this car 😉
LOL!!!!! What the heck is with the integrated simulated engine sound for an EV??? It is so weird to do that! Why do they have to do that? It is like trying to satisfy the "immature kid" in the person, who can't accept the fact that they are driving an EV. Why does an EV have a tachometer?
Step outside of your bowl once in a while, helps with perspective and health. Why measure everyone with your own ruler? Sounds like you are not the target audience.
@@not_the_pasta True, true... but it's still my personal view point, you don't have to agree with it though. EVs do not have an engine, hence a tachometer and integrated simulated engine sound does not make sense to me; like you said , some folks want to hang on to the the "good of times" of the combustion engine... to each his own.

Because battery management tech and this kind of powerful regen braking tech are no jokes.
dont understand why people want to hear an annoying sound while driving weather its a track car or not i love the whining of my tesla when i floor it I cant stand these cars that sound like weed wackers never understood what people like about it
What did they done, ridiculous and awesome at the same time.
Barometer? I think you meant tachometer 😂😂
LOL!!!!! What the heck is with the integrated simulated engine sound for an EV??? It is so weird to do that! Why do they have to do that? It is like trying to satisfy the "immature kid" in the person, who can't accept the fact that they are driving an EV. Why does an EV have a tachometer?
It's there because the clients asked for it.
You are not one of them
@@oktaviu8668 I guess you would probably be one of them, seems like you like this kind of stuff.
Hand circles, hand circles…..
Driving US$60,000 car and worrying about the cost of tyres is a bit…😂😂😂😂
Awful
The main difference between this ionic 5 n and regular ionic 5 is that you were more beautiful in that video
Cringe
