If you want to learn from me, I have a drawing course on Proko! www.proko.com/s/nkat?af=019176
Some people are great teachers, some are not. You sir, are a magnificent teacher. That video should be in the library of every aspiring professional. Thank you so much for the education. Folks, GET THIS. It's worth every single penny.
Turning 30 this year and im Getting back into art Just now diving into learning my fundementals... Ive always been naturally talented at drawing and all my friends and family use to tell me how talented i was. I rushed my drawings and i remeber my art teacher gave me a C on a art project. His reasoning "you spent 30 minutes on this imagine how much better it would be if you spent the whole week on it" that stuck with me
You taught me on the most recent comic pro boot camp and i have never learnt so much and never retained so much from anything more in my entire life. Nice one Ryan will continue learning etc and when I can will buy upur gumroad tutorials:)
I have had a couple students tell me this before. Comic Pro Boot Camp is here to assist and give a hand up to struggling artists. Thank you. We have plans to launch some new packages. Including a bunch of free stuff.
Nice @@ryanbnjmnart
I have come back to this video so many times over the last 10 months. Every time I come back, a different point made by Ryan is the one that becomes important to me at that time. This video contains genuinely brilliant advice. Thank you so much for these words of wisdom.
This man is so inspiring... he pushes me every day to draw for myself and enjoy what I draw, no matter how hard the journey could be
I feel so grateful to have this type of people who pushes you further every day to make it better and be proud of ourselves every day
Thanks to Ryan Benjamin, TB Choi and Kim Jung Gi for helping us in this marvelous journey

I'm so glad I found you through one of David Finch livestream. You are very talented and worth subscribed ❤️
You are one of the lucky ones, I went to a lot of comic-cons to see if I could get discover and hired and it never happened, now I work in a pathetic warehouse.
Sorry to hear that, you should start a RUclips channel?😊

Great video! You have a very honest, inspiring, clear and calm way of communication. Also love the artwork, it's tense, alive and great depth due to the hand. Good luck with sharing and creating more amazing art. I hope to meet you in person one day.
Greetings from the Netherlands
What do you think about Rembrandt van Rijn? Is there a greater artist in playing with light and darkness?
Thanks a bunch!
I like Rembrandt, I studied traditional painting in college and always really admired him
My influencer was Jack Kirby. I was drawing at age 7 learned the human anatomy well at age 10
I didnt know kim jung gi died????? Whaaatttt
Nice drawing, totally mind plowing. I have a question, what is the pen you´re using in the video? btw hope your having a nice day! :D
For me
1: Frank Frazetta
2: Dave Finch
3: Jim Lee
The 3 drawings behind the group photo ,was it a print or original ?
I… had no idea Kim Jung Gi had passed away up until this point. I am shaken
How do I practice placing shapes into 3D space.
I would get the book How To Draw Comic Books- The Marvel Way. There is a lot of fundamentals there, which Ryan talks about in this video and stresses how important it is. You will learn the basics of 2d and 3d, including what you are asking about.
I had lots of skills. I sent about 12-15 portfolio to Marvel since 1987-1992 from sketching to inking and coloring but always got denied by Tom idiot DeFalco. I drew just as good as you. I thought I would be drawing next to the big three at Marvel at the time Mcfarlane, Lee, and Liefeld , Also created color inking using small amount of black ink creating almost 3Dimentional look. Also tried Image comics same there Jim Valentino was another azz hole.
I couldn't keep listening, whatever keeps jangling in your audio was throwing me aaaaaall the way off lol
