In an interview I saw with marlon brando he was told " ur the best actor ever " he said he wasnt he said " al pacino is the best actor around " that's coming from the guy every actor since the 70s has emulated and worshipped . I believe brando said that bc by the time he was doing the godfather he had a disdain for acting & was doing it for a paycheck & here he was working with this kid al pacino who loves acting & I bet brando truly recognized that & his humbleness & greatness.

Well, I don't know if that would be entirely accurate. Like everyone, there are peaks and valleys to go through.. Brando hadn't had much acting work when the Godfather presented itself. Timing is important.. When the director of the Godfather came to Brando's house for the audition.. It only took a few minutes for Brando to begin to create the character " Godfather "! So, that is not just about money.
From what I have observed.. Brando in " Superman " / Christopher Reeves ( God Rest His Soul ) was more about the money.. than the " Godfather ".

I'm happy I've learned to watch a movie and not think of the actors as the idiots they are in real life. I appreciate the talents of people like Alec Baldwin and Matt Damon and Sean Penn, Robert DiNiro as actors, but think they're wack jobs when not in from of the camera. Still, I like them as the fictional characters they play...they're quite good.

I'm 61 and I'm sittin' here. And of-course there are so many great, great, actors and, it is nearly impossible to narrow it down to just one guy. That being said, at the end of the day, for me, this guy really is at the very pinnacle of greatness. Thankyou Al for a lifetime of it. God bless you. Lord knows you've blessed us with innumerable performances over many, many years. You, dear sir, are indeed my personal favorite of favorites.

There's an Indian movie called "sparsh" and Mr. Naseeruddin Shah played the role of a blind person who teaches at a school. I'm not saying you'll find it greater or whatever but give it a watch please. And btw I worship this guy, they call Al Pacino.

Chalamet...no..he is turning into more of a pompous star struck fool who cares more for the glamour than the art...his int during that hollywood roundtable ( right after his film Call me by your Name) would suggest that..his tone and over all attitude..like he just doesnt care for it..he just wants the money and the fame..id like to see him in a room with tarantino discussing about the history of film. Ppl like him and Milly bobby Brown nothing but divas...nobody is genuine anymore, nobody comes from struggle anymore, that is why the art is cheap and bland nowadays..no Brando-esque or nothing...the only young actor whom i think has that genuine vibe is Sophia Lillis.
