bunny handled that lady from the company so maturely. she's such a sweetheart. see she didn't get defensive she took it as constructive criticism. that company lady shouldn't have been that way to bunny, she didn't deserve that.
I agree the creator was being unprofessional and I think $100 for what's basically a facial steamer with special finger slots is way too much. I'm not sure how safe heating up acetone is either.
I don't understand how the acetone just doesn't go away. From what I learned innChemistry it has a really low boiling point and evaporates at slightly above room temperature. So what I don't understand is that it doesn't evaporate out even if this thing has some sort thing to try prevent that. 🤔
+Marta Diaz I agree, the acetone has a much lower vapor pressure than water, so it evaporates more easily than water. It also has a lower boiling point. However the device is nearly sealed on the top (where the finger slots are), so that is the thing that prevents most of the evaporation. The higher pressure from the seal (vs. open container of acetone) should also slightly raise boiling point, additionally preventing some evaporation. Finally, we are not sure what temperature the solution is. If you ran this device for several hours, I think a significant amount of the acetone could be boiled off; however, I don't think a significant amount could be vaporized in
I looove Bunny's muted down sass throughout the video. Those little hints of anger. You can so tell that Bunny is irritated by the company's response. I love how you handle your anger so classily (is this a word) and sassily. I don't get why they tweeted those responses to someone else and not you, if they really wanted to get that information out there surely they would let the poster of the video know so that they could retest and let their viewers know. Interesting how none of it was included in the instructions too. Hmm.. Lol.
Right! sounded like a bit of troll in there responses to other people's tweets. over stuff not in the manual or on the website. (They should have let bunny know what to do) my first thought on letting it run threw 2 to 3 times first is also the waste of 15min and waste of nail polish remover sold by the company....
Maranda Hughes It sounds to me like they were reaching for what ever they could to justify and excuse their terrible product. Ontop of their product not working apparently the companies management also ceases to work well. Their response was so unprofessional and sloppy. What a shame.
I think the company is unprofessional for using the phrase "insanely thick" to describe bunny's gel application. Also how they responded to someone else but not bunny regarding the initial set up process (which does not appear in the manual). Frankly I think their attitude is childish and immature. It's their fault for not staying how much gel or glitter you can or can't wear. I only hope bunny did not feel stressed it worried due to their immature and bullying attitude as a company.
100% agree. I hope that lady apologizes. I kinda want to say something but I don't want to start a war. But I kinda do... You feel me? I feel bad for that.
The owner mentioned the thickness of her polish "plus glitter!" and how she didn't give it a long enough time to cycle through. If she had the time to tweet about her product, she could have found some time to update the manual for customers to understand it, or contact Bunny to see if her particular product was defective (considering other YTers had no major issue). Plus, thickness of polish shouldn't be an issue, just update your half done manual to suggest that manicures with more polish should be left in longer. Simple enough? Unless I'm wrong then someone should correct me.
EHHHH as a full-time cosmetologist, for some gel colors you do have to do a few layers. Glitter is also EXTREMELY common and popular! If it is something sold to the general public, then it should work on a variety of nail looks and layers of gel polish. If it isn't easy to use and extremely effective then it shouldn't be on the market!
+Sarah Rosenfelder We buff the nails, soak cotton in acetone, place it on the nail, cover in tin foil around the finger, and wait about 15 minutes then scrape off. Much cheaper!!
I'm a Cosmo as well and I completely agree! Certain gel polishes are too thin/streaky to do just two coats. And if this thing can't get normal gel polish applications off its not worth TWO HUNDRED DOLLARS. Ugh bunny is so patient.
I'm sorry but even if this would work like the best thing on this planet I would not buy this. That was so unprofessional. Thanks Bunny and sorry that this happened to you.
Agreed! There was no reason for the owner to be rude about not following directions that weren't even listed anywhere. If something helps make it work better, it should be in the instructions!
Oh my gosh, right? But the joke's on them, cause now tens of thousands of people are going to see this and know how terrible their business practices are. ;)
+Melinda Meyer think about it bunny has 6,000,000 subs but some people don't have RUclips account so she would have like MILLIONS of subs so make it like 10 million people hating this product
If you pay that amount for an item then you expect all the information in the instructions. The sassy mate who holds the patent should at least thank you for trying the product again, she acted very unprofessional regarding the issues you had
+Christopher Crocker-Corber Exactly! I just got irritated by the reaction of the company. " HOW THICK THE POLISH WAS". I mean her polish was not that thick and some designs ask for more gel. And if I get this right the machine also does not work with glitter? So it narrows it down to basic gelpolish designs that would have taken you 10 minutes with the classic method eitherway...
You can wear gel nails for as long as you like, providing it is removed properly and reapplied properly your nails should not be damaged. I am a qualified nail tech, and would never use a machine like that, due to hygiene and other issues and it is not only your nails that are soaking in acetone, but also your finger tips. Foils can be remove gel polish within 15minutes if applied properly and much more hygienic.
Oh and there is a professional gel polish out there that can be applied with 1 coat, no base or top coat. Its amazing the brand is Brillbird and only professional nail techs/salons stock it. You should see if there is 1 in your area. Its amazing stuff :)
oh thank you! I was looking at that like "is dat hygienic??!" but I didn't wanna say anything because I'm not really certified, I'm just studying and all that. good to know my thought was on the right track
When your nails felt ridgy or flaky it's because they are so badly damaged that the actual nail was peeling and flaking up. Cant imagine how damaging this divide is for your skin! Loved this video so much Bunny!!!
Anyone else get the feeling that she was kinda mad at the company? idk maybe I'm just a short tempered person who likes getting pissed off but I think the company person was a bit rude... Which is a huge no-no cause Bunny is a sweetheart! She gives everything a fair chance.
thank god someone feels the same way. 😂 if I was bunny, I'd be mad and said "it's not my fault your product sucks and you didn't clearly state directions"
You guys talk to 10 year olds like that? Its not her fault the way technology is these days- everybody has a phone or a tablet.. My 8 yo neice is on youtube all the time, let me see u talk to her like that!!
As a chemist, I just want to point out that acetone (in the form of fumes/gas) is extremely toxic and is a known carcinogen (because it is a ketone). In my lab, I use acetone in liquid form in a FUMEHOOD because the fumes are extremely bad for your health. Also, this is an electronic device that has the risk of sparking (at any point if the plastic cracks) and acetone is insanely flammable. To be honest, I don't understand how this is a product that is allowed to be sold. There are so many risks with using this product. I personally would not recommend this just based on the chemistry of what's happening.
Miss Persephone It's a different device and I'm imagining It's not as hot since It's not attempting to make a vapour but when removing acrylic nails it's pretty standard to soak your hands in heated acetone. So it may be a bad idea but it's something ready done in salons. Out of curiosity could acetone based polish remover cause issues? It's not pure acetone but the fumes do still seem very strong.
Beauty Acetone is different and in salons they have ventalation systems and limit the contact of acetone on the skin if at all. Acetone used correctly is fine. Also acetone is produced is formed naturally in your body from the break down of fat. All qualed nail techs take basic chemistry to understand what they are using and the safest way to handle it and dispose of it. eg Nail techs are smart
@@Harri_James If ypu EVER see a salon HEATING acetone RUN!!!! That is an incredibly dangerous act. Just cos some nail salons do it doesnt make it right. They obviously were not trained correctly.
Is it just me or does this method look really damaging? I don't know how much "scraping" is involved with removing gel nails normally but I cringed when Bunny showed her nails afterwards. I'm not knocking Bunny here whatsoever - I just don't think the device is doing any good for her nails.
Thats why I don't do gel nails! its so damaging and I like to keep my nails fairly long lol I take the advice of Simply Nailogical and make sure to oil my nails up!
It's not the machine, it's the gel nail polish. I always get gel nails done but taking it off just damages your nails so badly and they take forever to recover. That's why I stopped.
I feel really bad for Bunny, if the machine did not work for her the first time then surely it will not work for anyone else. It is the instructions, which are not clear enough, she said in the other video that she bought the product which makes her a customer - surely you would not talk about customers like that! Even if I did wear gel nails I would not purchase this purely for the way they treated her.Plus I like the way Bunny says that she thinks it will save time from the normal method but you can tell she still doesn't think it's that great. Team Bunny!!!
Same, their customer service was really shitty. They should have had those things listed in the instructions or on a FAQ on their website. I'd also not buy the product because it seems like it more trouble then it's worth. You could just do a regular removal process in the time it takes you to this, plus breathing in all those chemicals cannot be good for you^^
Cosmetologist here it's not the base cost it's damage your nails are dry they are called baru lines soak your nails in coconut oil or olive oil for a few weeks or buy a cuticle cream gel prevents moisture and air to the nail plate so it's just dry damaged and brittle it can be fixed :) hope I helped
+sweetiestrawberrie15 Actually, soaking your nails in any kind of liquid is really bad because you're allowing the liquid to go between the layers of nails which makes the space between them expand and makes them vulnerable. You can maybe put a few drops on them but you should DEFINITELY not soak them.
+Cipher Skull moisturizing them help though. you nails are made of the same thing your hair is made of and moisturizing and oiling them up helps with damage.
@Cipher Skull @Sandy Bido -Ladies, oil is the one liquid you could soak your nails in all day, and it would only make them stronger. People actually do this at night with special gloves. Read some of Doug Schoon's articles on nails. Or his big science book on nail structure.
I AM NOT buying this product due to the UNPROFESSIONAL tweet that this girl posted "She had insanely thick nail polish!" that is super unprofessional and she seemed like she had an attitude. So I will not be buying this product.
Bunny, It was rude of Someone running a company not to contact you directly when YOU are having the issue. Also, the tweet you showed was "talking behind your back" I don't think you should re review it on youtube when people act like that. Just me though. Hows dogmans face? LOVE YOU!
If you heat acetone doesn't it mean that there should be a fire hazard? I mean, isn't acetone flammable??? Correct me if I'm wrong but that sounds a little dangerous, but only if you heat it too much.
The owner was totally unprofessional about your first review and you handled it like a champ. Based on the owner's unprofessionalism, I will not be buying this product. It doesn't look like I'm missing much since it didn't even appear to work properly.
bunny could have ruined this product if she wanted after that unprofessional response, but she's so honest about telling the pros and cons! I feel like I can trust her.
nothing is worth buying without a return policy, especially, spending $100 for a product that does not have specific details on how operate it. And, the owner? She's $100 richer! Owner, suck up that attitude. It is not consumer friendly!
I'm not understanding how the owner of this product can say she put too much polish on. The owner also stated it had to run for a few cycles when it doesn't state that in the owners manual. If she wants people to use her products correctly she has to give the proper instructions. I feel as though Bunny is walking on egg shells in this video. I find the owners approach very inappropriate and very unprofessional. They do not give proper instructions and should try to develop a product that actually works the way the owners manual states.
Sometimes I think y'all get a little too defensive for Bunny. I didn't think that the owner's response was rude - someone tweeted her asking why Bunny's SteamOff wasn't working very well, and she responded with helpful tips on how she could have made it work better. Tons of Bunny's "Does This Thing Really Work?" videos have comments under them saying "you did this, that, and the other thing wrong," and that's never been considered rude by anybody, nor do I think it's rude! It's constructive advice - surely if you were the owner of a company you would want to ensure that the customer knows what she/he did wrong so that they get full enjoyment of the product. Tons of people don't even give products a second chance, even if they themselves are just failing to use the product correctly, and I applaud Bunny for testing things out a second time! I'm not saying it's Bunny's fault that the instructions were unclear and incomplete, but I do think that a lot of Swamp Family members are overreacting by saying they'd never buy a product from such a "rude owner" when she really wasn't being rude at all. Even Bunny herself said that she didn't think the owner was being rude to her (:
Also, for everyone saying it didn't work... it did work lol. It really didn't work on the first hand, but then when she used it with the opposite hand it took nearly all of the polish off in the first 5 minutes - proving that what the owner said about having to cycle it through a few times was true.
I have been in business- have a degree in msnagement- for nearly 10 years now. The owner was extremely unprofessional. Even if someone didn't think she was rude, she certainly went about it the wrong way. Personally, I found the owner rude because her reply was as if she took offense to Bunny not having good results. In the end, the product is a scam. I don't do nails but I took enough chemistry classes to know soaking your fingertips in acetone, for even five minutes, is far, far from okay. The device is literally a mug warmer with finger holes over it. It probably cost less than $3 to make.
Also, might I add that if the creator had have put that it had to be cycled through a few times before you can see proper results in the instruction manual, then there would have been no need for anyone to ask the creator, therefore she wouldn't have had to reply, and nobody would have called her rude and had such an uprising about this.
Marleen Widjaja Rebecca J I agree with you both in the fact that the owner probably should have attempted to reach out to her outside of Twitter, however a lot of companies respond to customer complaints on social media, and some individuals even seek out answers to their questions on social media as well. Bunny did say that she did reach out to her both personally and in response to the tweet from a Swamp Family member as well, so in my opinion she did okay! I know that the tone can get misinterpreted, but I found it to be less of blame and more on trying to get her to realize information she misunderstood.
To everyone saying/will say "just use a peel of base coat". Yes, Christine proved that it works. And we all love her. But I love gel nail polish because it lasts for longer then a week. And honestly I have a hard time getting peel off base coats to even last a week, because I cannot live my life being super careful of my nails. Gel nail polish you can just put on and live your life, and it lasts. Peel off base coats defeat the entire purpose of gel for me. And obviously Bunny also likes having her nails on for a long time, because she said she procrastinated taking off her nails because she loved them so much (and just look at that growth, obviously much longer then a week). If you want to do a new pretty design every couple of days like Christine, use a peel of base coat. If you want to put on nail polish and then continue with your crazy life (can you see Bunny being as careful of her nails as Christine is?) Use gel nail polish without a peel of base coat. Love Bunny, love Christine, (love all of you), but stop confusing the two. Rant over.
First off all of that should've been put in the manual & the "owner" is sassing everybody not just you about how we should wait a "few" cycles before use so basically based off the 10 cycles that last 5 mins each you had to do I woulda had to wait an hour or more for it to effectively work ? I could have did that s*** on my own with other tools at that point so NO it doesn't work & YES it's a waste of $100 . That lady is beyond rude trying to make you look dumb for expecting it to take off your polish like it's MEANT to do but failed to , the amount of polish & or if it contains glitter should not make a difference if it "Works" . Her Expecting you to magically know some Information she NEVER mentioned in commercials or her manual is HER FAULT . I'm sorry for her you didn't deserve that
+Elaine Nunnery I agree, idk about heating up nail polish remover then like submerging your hands in it over and over and over....idk I am weird about stuff like that though. Good think idc about my nails!
Boo to this product. I personally wouldn't buy it. p.s. Bunny, I've had my nails look like this after gel nail use, unfortunately it is damaged nails and not leftover base coat. time to give those little nail beds a break for a couple of monts...and los of strengthening nail care! xx
And you may ask yourself What is that beautiful house? And you may ask yourself Where does that highway go to? And you may ask yourself Am I right?...Am I wrong? And you may say to yourself yourself My God!...What have I done?!
Agree - if there are nuances to the newness of the product - that should be in the directions. If it doesn't work with thick nails, glitter polish... etc. - that should be listed somewhere. Not... in a rebuttal after a bad review.
I agree, but the way the creators of this tweeted about her video to somebody else, made me ask myself "does this thing REALLY work?" or is she just forcing herself to make it work to shut them up
+Danielle1995 Klemas yes it does seem like she is forcing it to work because her nails looked pretty rough after using it. I don't feel like you should have to scrape your nails like that to get any kind of nail polish off.
I agree. Bunny next time do the sanding then soak cotton balls in acetone, place them on your fingers & wrap the whole fingertip in aluminum foil, you can still function so u can let them set for awhile. Never heat acetone....believe me it should not be heated that can cause severe damage to your lungs....my husband builds trucks and they are strict with their acetone use, he freaked when I told him that it was heating acetone!!!
+CatEatsCookies We aren't saying she was a jerk, we're saying there was a lack of professionalism. When addressing a customer you don't say things like that. It's common sense..
I feel like bunny was walking on egg shells about talking bad about this product. The point of does this thing really work is to test the product to see if it works and the product really didn't work the first time bc the directions weren't clear enough that lady was very unprofessional about the whole situation she should have contacted bunny herself not someone else this product is not worth 100 dollars
You're such an insanely nice person. If an owner of a company responded that way about me when their product lacked proper information, I probably would not show anything about her products haha
Bunny don't let that stuck up woman make you feel that you need to defend yourself. You are beautiful! We all know that sometimes you have issues and while the swamp family will let you know in the most loving way possible. We love you for you, your mistakes or errors or just general you-ness brightens our day and makes those of us that are just like you in that feel as though we all just human beings. Thank you for being who you are. Thank you for being classy. Thank you for caring so much for all of us. Thank you for sharing yourself and your beautiful flaws with all of us with flaws. Thank you for trying to make us feel "normal". Thank you for accepting yourself and trying to help us accept ourselves. I could go on and on! You are amazing and don't let those people get to you. By the way I started watching you a long time ago and almost a year and a half ago got my mom watching and about 6-8 months ago my young child watches too. So thank you also for being so family friendly!!!❤️❤️
That response from the creator / owner of the product was clearly very professional..! It shouldn't matter how thick your gel polish is, the machine should still be doing something. The fact it wasn't meant you felt it wasn't up to standard - understandably. Not to mention the instructions clearly didn't stipulate to run the machine through several times, I wouldn't have even thought of that?! There's no excuse for the woman not to have responded in a professional & friendly manner directly to you. I suppose having worked in customer service myself, it bothers me more as to why certain individuals get their hackles up for no particular reason. Great review Bunny.
I know this is a late response but it was unprofessional because she didn't contact Bunny right away. She was also being passive aggressive and publicly making a mess of a comment for others to see rather than just talking to Bunny. Usually when you have problems with a product you want to have a private discussion right and not be embarrassed for others to see.
Bunny, your a sweetie to give this product another try. But what company doesn't put COMPLETE directions in their products user manual? And then to have the nerve to tell you, that you had to do steps that WERE NOT in the manual to make the product work as advertised!!!! That shows the integrity of the company.
its better to use a peel off base coat and gel nails will just pop off with a wooden stick..and no damage to the nail and only take a couple of minutes to pop em off...deff, a peel off base coat...
You still need to file more off at the beginning. The top coat is deceptively thick, and you need to get completely through for a soak off to work properly. Top coat will never soak off. A good tip would be to go until you get some coloured dust from filing. In this case I would have filed until I was removing the stripes, and then started the soak. This would help make the cotton/foil method quicker too.
I'm a professional nail technician, of course I think the machine is crap. Everyone wanting to do their nails at home means I don't get to pay my bills. Still, bunny asked for advice so I gave some, no need to be so harsh. And it did work, did you not watch until the end?
+Sakura Kiss Nails it did not work like it said it was going to work. It took a long time and did not peel properly. If she had filed the polish more it could have damaged her nail, and it would have basically been her filing off the polish, not steaming it off.
Like I said in my original comment, top coats will not soak off, ever. That's how they last so long. If you want to use acetone in any capacity to remove gel polish, you need to get rid of the top coat. So yes, you need to file a bit. I didn't say file off all the colour, I said file until you hit it, which would mean the top coat has been removed. Trust me, I went to school for this.
I think the company needs to include more information. They left too many questions unanswered. I'm not sure how safe the acetone steam would be either. Surely it cannot be good to inhale it. I honestly think it is less hassle to just take them off the conventional way.
I love that she said 'thanks for hanging out with me' at the end of the video. I love when RUclipsrs do that it makes me happy like I hung out with a RUclipsr by watching their videos. It makes me feel like I have more friends
I am a nail tech and I'm used to the removal process, still don't believe it works "as advertized", I'd be curious to see an uncut video where she removes ANY kind of full gel mani within 5 minutes without damaging the natural nail. Furthermore, just based on the owners unprofessional response, I wouldn't buy it. Just my two cents.
Heating acetone is not safe if you don't have proper ventilation. Inhaling it can be dangerous that should be said because you never know what people will do.
The way the owner responded kind of rubbed me the wrong way. How are you supposed to know you have to let it run through a few cycles? If you're gonna pay $100 for something, it should work the first time...
The owner of the machine who tweeted sounded really rude towards Bunny don't know if it was intentional but she could have at least tweeted in a nicer way.
I think you are wonderful. I found this channel about 2 months ago and have watched almost every clip you've done.. I love your personality and your honesty in reviewing what you are testing.
*JUST TO CLARIFY!* i didn't think the owner was being rude to me via twitter and she did tweet me once BUT i posted the tweet i did in the video because its the one that included the important info about letting the machine 'cycle through' a few times because it was new! and i feel like letting it get those cycles made a big difference & that info could be helpful for other customers! :)
+grav3yardgirl I LOVE YOUR DOES THIS REALLY WORK SERIES
Hi bunny I really like your channel
She should of contacted you personally instead of putting it on social media, but that's just my opinion
+grav3yardgirl hey bunny i am a best fan i love you so much your the best
Hey bunny ur one of my favorite channels!👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
The owner of the company was being so unprofessional!! She should know how to handle these types of situations instead of getting so defensive. Maybe her directions just suck :)
Oh my gosh I thought that too!!
I definitely agree. She could have handled the situation a bit better. At the very least reaching out to Bunny herself.
directions AND device suck!! lol
+Janelle s yeah definitely agree!
+Janelle s Bunny seemed kind of the _kind_ product here, because it clearly doesn't seem to be working.
The product simply doesn't work and the owner refuses to take responsibility
exactly my thoughts
+KAR-MA it does work. It is a heating element that creates steam. That is its function and it functions properly. What doesn't work is people blindly accepting the marketing hype behind products.

Amen!! She was so rude! AND BUNNY IS FAMOUS! Girl her company is DONE FOR! Lmfaoooooooooo bye bye steam off
BOOOOM
bunny handled that lady from the company so maturely. she's such a sweetheart. see she didn't get defensive she took it as constructive criticism. that company lady shouldn't have been that way to bunny, she didn't deserve that.
+Nitasha Mccluskey Exactly! ☺️
It's kinda funny, cause the lady didn't talk directly TO bunny.
exactly!! as if she can´t read her! first say than you for spending $100 in my product.
Kim Trantham but she couldn't handle willam
Kim Trantham
I agree the creator was being unprofessional and I think $100 for what's basically a facial steamer with special finger slots is way too much. I'm not sure how safe heating up acetone is either.
Amen! This ladys company is done for now
Yeah her company won't last long

OMG I thought I was the only one catching all of that xD I really love bunny 😘😘😘

It sounds to me like they were reaching for what ever they could to justify and excuse their terrible product. Ontop of their product not working apparently the companies management also ceases to work well. Their response was so unprofessional and sloppy. What a shame.
Miriama Yahalom agreed.
Oops I meant to write stressed *or* worried.
Exactly what I thought. Very unprofessional
yes your right
+Nightly Archaeology true really
Alexis Joy EXACTLY
Alexis Joy exactly
You’re 100% right
Exactly
Even if this did work amazingly I would never buy from this company. Very unprofessional behavior from the owner!
I agree
She had her own reality show about The Painted Nail, and she's a little...crazy lol
Oh god really! Geez they will give anyone a reality show now days
+Tiia Mirella what was the owners comment ?? i must of missed it
+Ebeny Coffey yep...it's called Nail Files on TV Guide Network.
+Sarah Rosenfelder seriously! I'm a cosmetologist too & it's pretty well known you layer gel polish!
Brook Humphrey Exactly! Some colors are more sheer and require a few layers. Plus a base and top coat!
That owner was beyond rude!
But the joke's on them, cause now tens of thousands of people are going to see this and know how terrible their business practices are. ;)
+Melinda Meyer think about it bunny has 6,000,000 subs but some people don't have RUclips account so she would have like MILLIONS of subs so make it like 10 million people hating this product
agreed !!
+K Kitchenmom I agree
Still not worth $100
It feels like she's walking on eggshells about criticising it XD
agreed
true that
Ikr
people ripped her a new one when she pointed out it didn't work the last time...
Nelliel IKRR
If you pay that amount for an item then you expect all the information in the instructions. The sassy mate who holds the patent should at least thank you for trying the product again, she acted very unprofessional regarding the issues you had
My thoughts exactly!
+Jackie Birch ^^^ I agree, I love all of Brillbirds products! And done right there should be no damage.
oh thank you! I was looking at that like "is dat hygienic??!" but I didn't wanna say anything because I'm not really certified, I'm just studying and all that. good to know my thought was on the right track
how do you feel about acrylic vs. gel??
+Kaitlynn Valero I'm curious as well.
When your nails felt ridgy or flaky it's because they are so badly damaged that the actual nail was peeling and flaking up. Cant imagine how damaging this divide is for your skin! Loved this video so much Bunny!!!
*device
i know right... this machine seems fishy...
indeed
Anyone else get the feeling that she was kinda mad at the company? idk maybe I'm just a short tempered person who likes getting pissed off but I think the company person was a bit rude... Which is a huge no-no cause Bunny is a sweetheart! She gives everything a fair chance.
I'm with you
thank god someone feels the same way. 😂 if I was bunny, I'd be mad and said "it's not my fault your product sucks and you didn't clearly state directions"
bunny is not a sweetheart she is so weird
Princess G Then gtfo cause I really don't care what you think
Whatever, and that wasn't me who said that it was my little sis she grabbed my phone
That sh*t doesn't work lol
+Filson Omar don't be on the internet then.
+Filson Omar get off the internet and play with dolls please
You guys talk to 10 year olds like that? Its not her fault the way technology is these days- everybody has a phone or a tablet.. My 8 yo neice is on youtube all the time, let me see u talk to her like that!!
+Filson Omar then don't read those type of comments
lol true
It's okay Bunny, you can say it sucks. Not as much as you first thought, but the product doesn't do as promised and the instructions was lacking.
Also it is totally overpriced ...
+Joachim Elijah Coleta wrong number
Miss Persephone I
Miss Persephone +
Acetone should never be heated as can cause serious harm if inhaled
This!!! It is so dangerous to heat acetone, especially without wearing a mask or having proper ventilation.
That's what I was thinking
its not like she is putting her face right next to the opening of the product
mark imrie mhm
Plus... acetone + heat = FIRE!
peel off base coat. peel like no big deal.

Holosexuals unite

Our lord and saviour Cristine would cry at the damage this does
+amsayyy yes she should do a review on it .
+loekanoeka noekaloeka i think she would say that it ruins your nails.😂😂
Is it just me or does this method look really damaging? I don't know how much "scraping" is involved with removing gel nails normally but I cringed when Bunny showed her nails afterwards. I'm not knocking Bunny here whatsoever - I just don't think the device is doing any good for her nails.
It does look damaging to me. Gel nails are something I avoid personally. :(
I agree especially with the nails getting A lot of moisture could weaken the nails!
Thats why I don't do gel nails! its so damaging and I like to keep my nails fairly long lol I take the advice of Simply Nailogical and make sure to oil my nails up!
+kookoo SAME!! I love her
It's not the machine, it's the gel nail polish. I always get gel nails done but taking it off just damages your nails so badly and they take forever to recover. That's why I stopped.
When you come so early that the thumbnail isn't up yet.
Lol right😂👏🏽😩
Ikr 😂😂😂
Same
I know 😂
😂
I feel really bad for Bunny, if the machine did not work for her the first time then surely it will not work for anyone else. It is the instructions, which are not clear enough, she said in the other video that she bought the product which makes her a customer - surely you would not talk about customers like that! Even if I did wear gel nails I would not purchase this purely for the way they treated her.Plus I like the way Bunny says that she thinks it will save time from the normal method but you can tell she still doesn't think it's that great. Team Bunny!!!
because of how they treated bunny, I would not purchase this product, if they treat her like that, just think how they would treat another customer
Same, their customer service was really shitty. They should have had those things listed in the instructions or on a FAQ on their website. I'd also not buy the product because it seems like it more trouble then it's worth. You could just do a regular removal process in the time it takes you to this, plus breathing in all those chemicals cannot be good for you^^
Who's in the "No thumbnail club"? :)
me
Not me
me
Me but I am almost done with the video!

Is it just me or do you like Bunny without makeup as well? She's naturally beautiful.
I'm really scared for the people who are going to take this comment unironically
+kittypie I'm being serious. Bunny is so beautiful.
+Alex “King Of Gay” Meyers oh dear
yeah she I agree, um, they are the same girl haha
yes she is.
Ѧʟᴇκ Eṧᴘᴇʀᴀɴᴢᴀ I know right
The painted nail lady seemed kind of condescending and rude, is that just me?
She's actually very rude!
+glitter You can't expect someone to know how to do something completely perfect though, especially if they're not trained lmao
that's just the way she is don't make fun of people
if u dont have anything to say shut it
I use a peel off base coat before doing gel nails. It makes life much easier.
+Samantha Burns yes. Simply peel like no big deal. #simplynailogical
+Samantha Burns I use UNT peel off base. Simply peel has glitter & latex in it which would make the gel polish bumpy when applied.
+Thisnamestillsucks We know :p
+Thisnamestillsucks Do you by any chance watch simplynailogical?
+Piper Boyer Like once.
her eyes are so beautiful!
ik I have brown and dark green but have always wanted blue :)

+thiskidneedsmedicine Hmm...i wonder who left that comment...Kevin or Grandma Lill? Anyways, I love you guys!
sorry dude she's taken
So is your grandma
Cosmetologist here it's not the base cost it's damage your nails are dry they are called baru lines soak your nails in coconut oil or olive oil for a few weeks or buy a cuticle cream gel prevents moisture and air to the nail plate so it's just dry damaged and brittle it can be fixed :) hope I helped
Sorry wrong spelling it's called beau lines
+sweetiestrawberrie15 Actually, soaking your nails in any kind of liquid is really bad because you're allowing the liquid to go between the layers of nails which makes the space between them expand and makes them vulnerable. You can maybe put a few drops on them but you should DEFINITELY not soak them.
+Cipher Skull moisturizing them help though. you nails are made of the same thing your hair is made of and moisturizing and oiling them up helps with damage.
Yeah you should definitely moisturize them but not by soaking them. It's best to use nail oil or Creme and even then you shouldn't use too much
@Cipher Skull @Sandy Bido -Ladies, oil is the one liquid you could soak your nails in all day, and it would only make them stronger. People actually do this at night with special gloves. Read some of Doug Schoon's articles on nails. Or his big science book on nail structure.
Heat up more than once? Like let the vacuum cleaner run a few times before using it! Give me a break!
Sounds like the owner of the company is a little sassy 😒
Bitchy and unprofessional
Ikr! I loved bunnys passive aggressive comments though! 😂
Agreed. I'd stay away from this product even if it didn't make me cringe for that reason alone.
I agree. She should have addressed Bunny herself.
Very unprofessional. I should stay away from that product.
that machine is over priced garbage.
girl, just use a peel off base coat like Cristine from Simply Nailogical. You should go check her out.
this redo came out before simplynaillogical's video

OMG U WATCH HER TOO!!! 😱😱😱
Neil Armstrong please don't call me a female dog.....
LOVE YOU!
completely uncalled for, dare I say a bully?
I think she watched bunny and picked up on he anxiety and used it I hate people like that.
apparently shes the owner... I don't think it would do any good ;/
If you heat acetone doesn't it mean that there should be a fire hazard? I mean, isn't acetone flammable??? Correct me if I'm wrong but that sounds a little dangerous, but only if you heat it too much.
It is highly flammable, but only if you put a flame to it. The acetone here is boiling to create steam, so probably wouldn't cause a fire :)
It is flammable but only when put to a flame. However it can coat your lungs if inhaled so it is dangerous.
Those 47 thumbs down are from people who work for this company
Lol probably
+Muneeza Akhtar including the stupid owner manual that probably doesn't even help
+Pineologic YASS!!
now 350
The owner was totally unprofessional about your first review and you handled it like a champ. Based on the owner's unprofessionalism, I will not be buying this product. It doesn't look like I'm missing much since it didn't even appear to work properly.
You could peel your real nails off and they would grow back quicker than using this machine.
In your Outro it sounds like people were being abusive to you for using that product. All those people are BANNED you're welcome x

bunny could have ruined this product if she wanted after that unprofessional response, but she's so honest about telling the pros and cons! I feel like I can trust her.
nothing is worth buying without a return policy, especially, spending $100 for a product that does not have specific details on how operate it. And, the owner? She's $100 richer! Owner, suck up that attitude. It is not consumer friendly!
you know your early when their is no thumbnail picture
Lol same😂😂😂😂
XD yep
lmao
Yes haha
Ahaha
I'm not understanding how the owner of this product can say she put too much polish on. The owner also stated it had to run for a few cycles when it doesn't state that in the owners manual. If she wants people to use her products correctly she has to give the proper instructions. I feel as though Bunny is walking on egg shells in this video. I find the owners approach very inappropriate and very unprofessional.
They do not give proper instructions and should try to develop a product that actually works the way the owners manual states.
i just use peel off base coat, this stuff is so toxic and damaging yeesh
yeah same here i use the one from simply nailogical
+Aleeza Khan same
it's so addicting to peel though!

Courtney Piper This is true
Rant over.
bob8mybobbob Christine has literally said peel off base coats are for if you don’t want to wear your gel polish for over a couple days
I'm sorry for her you didn't deserve that
This seems so damaging and are you breathing in nail polish remover???...
+Elaine Nunnery I agree, idk about heating up nail polish remover then like submerging your hands in it over and over and over....idk I am weird about stuff like that though. Good think idc about my nails!
+Elaine Nunnery yea isn't that poisonous?!?

Agree - if there are nuances to the newness of the product - that should be in the directions. If it doesn't work with thick nails, glitter polish... etc. - that should be listed somewhere. Not... in a rebuttal after a bad review.
You were wearing the wrong type of gel polish? Isn't this thing supposed to take off all types of nail polish? Except glitter apparently
I would think it should work with any gel polish too. But yes glitter polish is a lot harder to get off, even regular glitter polish.
What a terrible business practice/response from the owner. If she really stood by her ridiculous product she would have a return policy 🙄
That owner seemed really rude to you. Don't tweet your friends about it. Put on your big girl pants and tweet bunny if your that concerned.
This is a hellish machine i hope they discontinue it
YOUR POOR NAILS!!! It essentially ripped off layers of your nail plate! Please don't use this piece of crap anymore!!!

I don't know why everyone is saying the owner was being a jerk. Personally, I think she handled it well, not telling Bunny off with SASS!
+CatEatsCookies true dat
The company's vocabulary and mean girl attitude indicated a lack of professionalism. .
+CatEatsCookies We aren't saying she was a jerk, we're saying there was a lack of professionalism. When addressing a customer you don't say things like that. It's common sense..
I want to know if she has a room filled with all the as seen on tv products. Cuz she does so many! 😂
+Sarah Gallegos Yes, she does.
Maybe she gives them away lol
+abigguitar how do you now
I feel like bunny was walking on egg shells about talking bad about this product.
Use the ÜNT peel off base coat

Thank you for being who you are. Thank you for being classy. Thank you for caring so much for all of us. Thank you for sharing yourself and your beautiful flaws with all of us with flaws. Thank you for trying to make us feel "normal". Thank you for accepting yourself and trying to help us accept ourselves. I could go on and on! You are amazing and don't let those people get to you. By the way I started watching you a long time ago and almost a year and a half ago got my mom watching and about 6-8 months ago my young child watches too. Am I the only one (I know |-/) who thinks this could potentially be a fire hazard? Like isn't acetone flammable? O.o
It's flammable. So only if you put a flame to it. In the machine, you'd only be heating it to boil, so no fire there.
+Macky o okie
Bri Was Here Hai there clique member! |-/
Bunny's skin is so freaking clear O.O i'm so jealous! And the owner of the product did not sound prof when addressing the issue.Oh well!
i don't think your nail polish was too thick its just that it doesn't work and its not worth it
+First Last the steamer is not worth it
Exactly.
Do you mean the response was Unproffesional? (You might want to correct your comment)
Stuck inside from a foot of snow! Bunny uploads! Yay!

+Angelina Corr lol yeah almost 2 feet!

+Charlotte Hanna it can be. It can be a royal pain in the arse too.
Am I the only one who watches her eyes the whole time, there SOOO pretty!
Me!
its better to use a peel off base coat and gel nails will just pop off with a wooden stick..and no damage to the nail and only take a couple of minutes to pop em off...deff, a peel off base coat...
+grrrlgeek they can last up to a week, if you use a non-glue peel off base coat and don't flood your cuticles
+Sakura Kiss Nails Also, you said you got a grittier file, but look for one that s 100 grit, thats what we use in the salon on gel and acrylic nails.
Just accept that the machine is crap. She did everything right it just didn't work.
I completely agree. the more info the better
you know your early when there is no thumbnail picture lol
right 👍🏻😂
Lol yeah!

I love that she said 'thanks for hanging out with me' at the end of the video. I love when RUclipsrs do that it makes me happy like I hung out with a RUclipsr by watching their videos. It makes me feel like I have more friends
If You're reading this then you're beautiful and loved and deserve to be happy :)
$100 bucks for that thing? Yea, not worth it. Thanks Bunny.
I'm getting gel manicure ever since I was 14. I'm 21 now and I have never taken a break not even for a week. My nails are absolutely the same. Healthy
Her eyes are so beautiful
Her everything is so beautiful 💘💘

Heating acetone is not safe if you don't have proper ventilation. Inhaling it can be dangerous that should be said because you never know what people will do.
The way the owner responded kind of rubbed me the wrong way. How are you supposed to know you have to let it run through a few cycles? If you're gonna pay $100 for something, it should work the first time...
Noooooo Bunny listen to Christine from simply Nailogical and use peel off base coat. Please try it 😘
The owner of the machine who tweeted sounded really rude towards Bunny don't know if it was intentional but she could have at least tweeted in a nicer way.
Not be "that person", but if the owner of that company is going to act like that, I don't want to support this company.
The shade that bunny threw to the owner..
She didn't throw shade
I think you are wonderful. I found this channel about 2 months ago and have watched almost every clip you've done.. I love your personality and your honesty in reviewing what you are testing.
