I saw him similar show... same year....tour probably. Unforgettable and we were dancing on the tables. Supper club but no servers bugging you. They were glued to the walls. JB not the norm for that place.

I use to like him but I later found out that he physically abused Tammie Terril. Dragged her across a floor by her hair. Down a flight if stairs. Punching her... Well after hearing this had happened and there were several witness to this ( men) who sat and watched. Did absolutely nothing... This just turned my stomach and no I will not say yes he did that but he was a good entertainer... What he was is an ass hole who abused women ....
And yet you are here on a video for James Brown on a channel dedicated to James Brown, isn't that just weird? I find it very remarkable when a person dislikes someone just to support content made for them by showing up and commenting, it seems obsessive and weird. I'm a lifelong fan of his, sure he did some messed up things but he wasn't the worst person ever nor does he measure up to that.
I believe James did not understand that he was not supposed to hit women due to the background he grew up in. Even still that was no excuse to abuse any of his women. I just believe that he understood that as he got older and I think he did stop abusing his women eventually.
