You are doing great job for the society.
I am interested in buying NF water purifier as my TDS is howering around 330 ppm.
However, as you see there are limited company operating in this segment and that too ....the one who are not so popular ( local made).
After sales service is also challenge and many even do not have service centre.
I have question
Taking all this into consideration, can we go for UV+ UF branded water purifier from branded reputed company and add Nano filter membrane extra to it ( from outside).
I think this question would be helpful to lakhs of viewers who does not want to buy RO... and uv + uf alone is not working.

Kindly use NF40 or NF60 membrane available from CM purifier
NF 60 ka pure water ka tds to jyada aa raha hai. It should have come around 230, as per 60% calculation.

Your questions are obvious.
In fact NF means nano filtration.
NF membranes are so designed as to allow filtration to 0.01 micron as a minimum and over and above some filtration of the level of 0.001 to 0.0001 micron. It is only filtration under pressure to creat reverse osmosis for 0.0001 micron can seive out the dissolved salt. In this manner the design is to seive out all kinds of micro-organisms as well as desired level of dissolved salts.
The disadvantage of tds controller is that it allows some quantity of water from prefilter. Now it depends on that which micron rating of prefilter you are using before tds controller? If you are using ultrafiltration then no problem otherwise you will allow micro-organisms to mix up in the final product.
Nf membrane tds level 220 is good??
If it 220 go with uv uf but if still you want to have nf go for nf20

I am a chemical Engineer and I am designing the membrane system from last 12 years.
In simple words nf will only pass monovalent ions through it i.e. sodium n chloride and reject divalent ion i.e. calcium magnesium.
So the conclusion is, RO as well as NF both will reject calcium n minerals.

Thanks for the info. This means companies should include Ca and Mg mineralizers along with RO/NF filters like Pureit.
@@aseemsharan yes for those who have only borewell water. Otherwise the best way is to avoid RO and Nano filtration because it will take away all necessary ions, better to use UF based filter for municipality water. It will not reduce any ions, it will only remove solids, germs n bacteria
@@anilk83 as I said, we should use UF for municipality/ govt. supplied water source.
