For real it helps. The simple fact is, regardless of skill level, the more tilted you are, the worse you will play. I try to comfort my tilted teammates for that reason. And I try to inspire them to focus on how to win the game, rather than how frustrated they are. And when my teammates are fighting each other, I'll try to empathize with how rough the game is but remind them that we can still win if we work together as a team. I also use the same philosophy with myself, like when I have a crappy game, I try to analyze what I could have done better, rather than how crappy my teammates were. The fact is that you cannot make your teammates play better, and flaming them only makes them play worse. All you can do is try to encourage struggling teammates and figure out what you can do better, because at the end of the day, the only player you can control is yourself.
Not a sona main, but its super interesting to hearing how you optimize sona! Hope learning english is going good asw, it was definitely tough for me trying to learn another language and it sounds like you're doing very well! :D
I am a Sona main but I think most noobs could benefit from parts of the video, such as the part where she mentions the questions you should ask yourself about the champs your opponents pick in champ select.
Thank you! I've been playing so much and I don't really build her the full support one, I want to carry too because my teammates most of the time are just indescribable, will try this build!
coming from reddit, great build!! definetly something else than healer moonstone, so far 0 losses, great tips about swapping with top and banning yo or kayn!
Tip 9 is sometimes true but that sure wasn't the case here. You should have created a freeze (very easy with Sona's shield on her w) and only last hit instead of hitting the minions and letting it crash. You created a bounce back, denying nearly a wave to your adc, letting the enemy adc free farm instead of getting him deep in the lane (easily gankable) or easily pushing him out of exp and gold range with a freeze near your turret. You went +60 gold, your adc lost 105 potential gold and you could have denied at least a wave to the enemy so 105 gold (not counting the slow push that would occur from the freeze and the kill opportunity). You went +60 gold for yourself but cost 40 gold for your team (105 to your adc) and let the enemies earn 105g gold at least. You got a 60 gold play when you could have gotten a 200 gold difference play in worse case scenario (1 wave for your adc 1 less for enemy adc) half a kill and an assist worth of gold. And this is not taking into consideration Maokai who's an engage support and engage support despise playing under enemy's turret and want long lanes to trade.
Got a question for Nanners if she read comments, have you ever tryed, second wind for multiple games? Instead of Bone plating. It has no cooldown and gets refreshed every tiny bit of damage you take (not sure if it procs when you have a shield).
well bone plating is for surviving lvl 1-3 all ins, second wind is for more lane sustain before first recall; so its very situational, but overall pref conditioning for better late game/teamfight scaling
Hello Nanners! great content and I really aprciate the in depth Sona content, my account is Seraphine Beta on the EUNE server, I am not a twitch subscriber so I am only limitet to your youtube content, and I really enjoy it, I believe Rod of Ages is slept on, but I might be wrong, I will try this strat evendough I struggle in higher diamond elo, I feel like I need more agency for myself since my adcs are eighter really good or total scrubs, I tried the full healer bot strat, something in between, but I believe that beying constant in dashing out as much damage as possible might be worth it in the long run, I cant w8 for more content and I will let u know in the furure how did this strat work out, thank you!
hello there~ i tried roa too, but its too expensive for supp sona and seraphs has more gold value with cdr + shield + mana + ap, so its better to first item it; high diamond do be very coinflippy, gl in your soloq journey~
Im going to watch the video because im super interested why would you main sona xDD Personally i hate Sona support and i dont see any reason why would you prefer him over any other enchanter mage so im really courious because there are a lots of things in sona kit. Sorry for my english im not a native speaker
u can shrink ppl and the MS kiting builds are fun plus as a sona main she’s very versatile with items runes, and play style for any situation, idk if this is bc i one trick but she feels like a swiss army knife
You're so real for teaching us to pretend to care about our inting teammates so they don't tilt
catYep its a good strat to learn
