I have a 22. Love it. We rode the sand at Padre Island National Seashore, at times very powdery, for 50 miles and we had absolutely no problem. Electronics work great. Cameras work great.

I have a 2022 drove from Phila. To Fla. panhandle only had to gas up three times each direction really good gas mileage.

    I have two vehicles with 10-speed transmission - 1st is a ‘19; 2nd is ‘22
    Zero problems
Some reviewers get these cars after multiple test drivers have used them, which can
cause sporadic input to the “learn function” of the transmission … hence, the problem

I bet you very few will spend 1% offroad. I have a Jeep and wheel once a month and one week in the summer and I don't wheel it 1% of the miles or hours spent in the Jeep.

Ford updating the Explorer. Maybe in 2030. My wife and I looked at the current Eacape in something like 2013. In 2023 they are finally updating it. I was renting Edge’s when I first started working and traveling. All they’ve done is mildly refresh it a few times.
