Absolutely love this. Embrace leviathan, become leviathan. He is far from safe, but he is good.

One thing you might not know is that there is a weird issue with RUclips in terms of making a copy of a livestream vs a posted video. Livestreams take additional backstage processing that make them difficult to do something with necessary for clipping. I want to clip this right NOW but I actually have to wait. Waiting is the loss of much in my video mind. I LOVED the swimming analogy and yes, Jess is absolutely right that Luke's real gift is the feminine energy he brings to create space for the masculinists to deliver the points I like to clip. Don't know what else to say. I watch nearly every one of Luke's livestreams. He's just that hot. :)

I'll just remind Luke that it is impossible to clip the ineffable.

Really great. Enjoyable but also edifying. Riff on swimming in the chaos rather than feet planted into the firm(?!)sand was a powerful metaphor. (Spent a lifetime teaching, coaching, swimming to give 'freedom' )

Maybe not fear. But take it seriously. Or think you have a “get out of death free card”.
We all are gonna drink the Cup. We’re all gonna die.
      Have a nice day! 😊

I have nothing to contribute as it related to symbolism, but @JessPurviance these folk-like gospel songs came to mind as I was listening to this conversation/discussion and the ones we had in the Northwest Estuary - particularly Walk on Water by Mali Music (ruclips.net/video/3IaI2Uc69Ls/видео.html) and The Job Experience (ruclips.net/video/l0i1ioa3oSo/видео.html).

Wow. Walk on Water is beautiful, and I am moved by The Job Experience. Very powerful. He really gets to the heart of the book of Job in the story he tells.
      Thanks for sharing.

Is the wind that frightens Peter not 'the breath [Spirit; wind] of God moving over the face of the waters'?

I think that's what we're getting at, yes. But, even then, God would be in the wind. It's all a matter of perspective.
So, as "darkness is not dark to you...", the wind would not be scary if we had the faith to walk on water (not fear the wind), etc.
