Rrright i just told a story to my girls about rude men at the gym. I was doing two sets of exercises (machines right next to each other and these are the types you have plenty of the same machines around the gym) when this dude comes up and disattaches my equipment… mind you, the same man has been chatting with his dudes for the past 15 mins, clearly not in rush. And they occupy machines by throwing their towels on it then going in round chatting up their “mates” ugh
No hate to men at the gym but I used to work out in the only women's section way better because most of them were mums and didn't have time to talk etc
So many people sit on the machines texting on their phones for 30 minutes between sets!! How do they ever manage to get their workouts done!! We all know that no one else can get their workouts done because we can’t get on any of the machines because of the texting behaviors!!😠😡😖
I feel this is a bit too much. Just say that you got mad they had an attitude against you. That’s what this is, this is not a men problem at the gym. You just didn’t like them being rude to you. No need to say start lift more, you are no better…
@@virginiav.1172It is when you’re confronting people in public that literally have done nothing to you and demand them leave a workout station because you think you’re more entitled to it than them. All this did was just make her come across as conceited asf and openly sexist lol
@@bastian9693 I get your point of view. However, I have experienced the sexism she is talking about at the gym as well. Guys act like the gym really belongs to them and you, as a female, are not serious about working out. It's so ironic that by asserting her right to be there she would be the one accused of sexism.
I stopped working out at the gym a very ling time ago also I noticed I was getting sick a lot after working out. Even though I'll wipe everything down. So, I work out from home and do old school work out and I don't get sick.
Yeah, but emily men are given so much flack for even looking at women in a gym, much less offering to share equipment. Gyms are hard to navigate, and not a comfortable space to workout in because everyone has different ideas of how to do it.
Emily, I love you, but that "you shut your mouth when you're talking to me" was funny 😂
😂
Thank you for sharing this story! It is so relatable. I think we need to call out the male culture of superiority over women when it happens. ❤
There's always someone on their phone at the gym 😂😂
also we need more post like these. sassy emily is great lol
home gym and free weights are the way to go. I got tired of people going to the gym to do I don't know what...
And free weights taught me so much about stability along with strength!
What’s it got to do with them being men in her circumstance though…

Go girl! Love it!
This has to be a joke. You’re literally bothered by men just existing in a gym. 💀
frfr
So relatable. That's why I don't go to the gym 🤷♀️
those guys dont know how lucky they were to see you 😂

This gotta be skit to grab attention from those who don't realise. But if it's not, then the lady needs a psychologist for narcissism.

Imagine a world where you have to leave your phone in ur locker to work out
Yeah exactly 👏👏👏
💅
Lifting more than them hurts their feelings 🤣
I'm in the sick of it everybody knows
You are right, friend! Some men at the gym develop that awful attitude. It gets old fast.
Emily, I love you!
u sure u didn't stun them with your beauty and fame?
🐾
I love you

It's ok to let her have her rant and it doesn't help to tell people how you think they should act.
Agreed! At the gym I go to, I have experienced this scenario more often with women.

They must not know who you are. I wonder if they would act that way and f they knew you were a SI Swimsuit model in the past.
Get your own gym

honestly I'm sick of the way men take up space in the world!
It’s funny because we don’t care
And yet here you are… taking the time to write a comment
In this context, men these days are somewhat wary of interacting with women, to avoid possibility of accusation of harassment.
