- In this video of Living the Jo Life, we show our adventure-packed day at Grindelwald First - Top of Adventure, Switzerland. It was an epic day with lots of exciting fun and breathtaking scenery in the Swiss Alps. The cable car takes you up to the First Mountain, where you can go on the Cliff Walk, reach over 80 km/h on the First Flyer and the Glider, and scoot down the mountain on a Trottibike. We highly recommend these must-do activities when you visit Switzerland.

Jungfrau region is the gem of switzerland in my opinion 👌👌
Amazing rides with beautiful scenery 🥰. This is what I'm gonna do there. May I know where have to send back the tritobike after completion if the ride? How long does it take to complete all this rides including break for lunch?
Yes it's absolutely stunning! The trotti bike was our favourite! Once you get down the bottom of the hill you take the bike up to where you take the cable car up. They collect the trotti bikes there. I would definitely allow a full day to get the most out of everything. I wished that we had of started earlier. I hope you have a great trip. Thanks for watching and supporting our new channel 😊

@@livingthejolife my trip to Switzerland was great but grindelwald first wasnt great… EVERYTHING was closed or had a 150min waiting line, when we went on the mountain walk thing there was also a huge line. I would like to go back but obviously I probably wont for another 20ish years or so bc i live in America

We just used a phone strap. You can buy on Amazon. That way you don't have to worry about dropping your phone. Have an awesome time! You will love it. Definitely do the trotti bikes! Thanks for watching 😊

Thank you for watching! You are going to have an amazing time. The restaurant is called Berghaus Bort at Alpinhotel. We had the raclette. It was very cheesy and delicious. The restaurant is located just near where you hire the trotti bikes. We wish you a fantastic trip!

Hi. Amazing video! I am planning to visit in April 2023. Wait, did you say you visited in May, and it wasnt raining? And it seems there were not many tourists, did you go early in the morning?
Thank you! Yes we were there in early May. The weather was fantastic! There was so clouds coming and going but no rain. Very few tourists which was great! We went to First at 10am. Good luck with your trip 🙂

Thank you! 🙏 We bought the three activity adventure package. I don't think the travel pass gives you discounts for these activities. We paid CHF 106 for adults and CHF 71 for children. It includes three activities of your choice and the cable car. The cable car is unlimited. You can ride up and down as many times as you want. At the end of the day we decided to ride the trotti bike for a second time because we loved it so much. We bought tickets at the Bort Middle Station. Have a great time!

Just noticed on your other video on top of Europe that you had an aerial video. Were you able to use a drone up there?
Thanks for watching! Jungfraujoch is within a no drone flying zone. We used some stock footage to compliment our video. There were helicopters flying quite low over the area so it makes sense that you can't fly drones there.

We bought the ticket onsite. If you are going in peak tourist season, I would suggest buying online in advance. Have a great time!

Buying tickets is not completely straight forward but here is a website that may help. We bought a package at the 'first' ticket office in Grindelwald. We did gondola and 3 activities. However, we loved the trotti bikes so much that we bought tickets for a second ride. The gondola is unlimited. You can go up and down as many times as you want.

What is that your using to hold your phone on the glider? The stick thingy. My daughter and I are going to Grindelwald at the end of September and I was going to look into getting a GoPro but I think if we just get some phone accessories that should suffice.

I am using the DJI action cam with the DJI selfie stick and also a strap like above.

@@leigh4652 We are still in search of the best selfie stick too. Bought something on Amazon but it was a bit flimsy. You fly really fast on this ride so you definitely need something solid. Let me know if you find a good one! Have an amazing holiday! 😊

Thank you for watching. We went on different days. Theoretically you could do both locations on the same day but it would be super rushed and you wouldn't have time to fully enjoy yourself. I would definitely suggest putting aside two days.

@@ramaadinugraha3395 Awe I'm so happy to hear that! Yes that's a hard decision if you only have one day. What I would suggest is to check the opening hours. During summer they may extend the opening hours. In that case you could go up to Jungfraujoch on the first train and then spend the afternoon at Grindelwald First. It would be a busy but awesome day! Really loved those trotti bikes at First! So much fun and the scenery is spectacular! Good luck.

I would suggest sending them an email to confirm. Not everything was open when we were there in May. It depends a lot on the weather and how much snow is still lying around.

@@artinanal550 Oh sorry I forgot about the DJI action cam. Just used that on the two flying activities. We have actually retired that device because it overheats very easily. Wouldn't recommend it at this stage until they fix that issue. We now have the insta360.
