Beto Ramos is Pau's drum mentor. He is a well-known drummer in Mexico. He was in a couple of well-regarded bands, Los Claxons (along with Pablo Gonzalez who is Ale's Bass Mentor) and currently with Jumbo. Despite not having quite as wide a vocal range as Dany, Pau has a voice what expresses her emotions well and better suits some of their songs. She has proven several times that she knows the lyrics to every song, having jumped in for Dany at times when the lyrics were forgotten during a performance, and sometimes filling in for Dany when she has problems with her voice from being strained or because she is sick. It's kind of ironic that this song is a response to their critics who called them narcissistic cultural traitors for singing all of their songs up to the composition of this one in English. If anything they are cultural ambassadors as evidenced by giving a worldwide showcase to Beto and others of the Mexican music community who have helped them during their growth into professional musicians with this concert, recording it and distributing it across their social media to an audience that is unaware of the Mexican music scene. Glad you have tickets to see them in Chicago. The VIP Meet and Greet sells out fast. The Patreons get first dibs so there are only a few left, especially at smaller venues. It's great that you get to see them in an intimate setting. I doubt there will be many more opportunities to do that after this year.

She got help from her mom with the Spanish lyrics and phrasing. It's not the 1st time she has come out front. Last year with Halestorm, AreJay Hale played drums on a song for her. I agree, Pau could very easily be a frontwoman herself. She owned the stage. Have fun at the concert.🤘🤘

You 2 rock! I have seen them 3 times. Each one better than the previous one. The last time was at what I like to call Rock n Roll Holy Land, The Fillmore. My daughter lives in San Francisco and wanted to see why I am so obsessed. I told her, "This is MY music. Nobody plays like this anymore. After the show she said if they come back to San Francisco we are definitely going. You are going to bouncing, head banging, horns up screaming "Hell yeah!" Guaranteed. Enjoy!
Man, we left the Bay Area a few years ago and moved to AZ. I would have killed to see them at the Fillmore... We did go see them on this last pass through, but it was the truncated "festival" version (because it was at, well, a festival). We were still delighted, but it wasn't the same thing as seeing them headline. I was so bummed I missed them in Vegas the previous year, but I rather suspect they'll hit it again... although next time, it might be at a stadium. 😋
Great you're goig to see tham live in Chicago - I've seen them live in Londan and Berlin (small venues) Download festival and Glasgow opening for Muse - they are fantastic whether they play in a small venue or a big festival. Ofc, it's best to see them headlining - more time more songs more joy for us the audience.

The presentation of this song was in Foro Didi concert in 2019 with Pau behind the drums. The only other times when she sang Narcicista as front woman was in Argentina with Eruca Sativa in 2019, Teatro Metropolitan (this video) and this year in Philadelphia, previus their Europe tour.
So thrilled you're going to see them live! Pau just oozes talent. You can say that about all three of them, truly. The extra drumming piece was a great touch.

You are going to be even more amazed when you see them live. We saw them in May and then got lucky again when they announced they would be a short drive away again in September. I will go see The Warning every time I get the chance. Thanks to a very good friend we will be backstage at their September show. Nothing wrong with "shooting your shot" to get VIP for their show. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. I hope you can get to meet them, they are remarkably honest, humble, and appreciative of their fans.
Honestly, Pau behind the kit has incredible charisma and stage presence. She doesn’t get to step out in front often so she doesn’t have the wealth of experience that Dany has. Dany has had years to hone her craft and she is already one of the best front women in Rock today.

I'm so very happy for you both going to see the girls in Chicago, and at a small, intimate venue to boot! I've seen them twice; in Colorado Springs last October and recently in May in Los Angeles. In Los Angeles, I did the Meet & Greet/VIP Experience, and I was literally ONLY 8 FEET from the stage on Dany's side during the show. It was GLORIOUS! I'm sincerely sorry that you missed out on snagging VIP tickets. 😢. BUT, at least you're seeing them relatively up close in a small venue. With their popularity growing by leaps and bounds, it may be the last time you get to experience them that way. Of course, headlining in larger and larger venues is in their future. I was planning to see them in Chicago too, but the venue is 17+ and my 14 year old is a huge fan so we are going to see them in Indy instead. Their live shows melt your face off!

What a treat. Pau in a short skirt and heels. BTW, I don't know if you've noticed but Pau and Dany generally don't take solos. Pau does fills, but no solos. Dany rarely does extemporaneous solos. She did here, but most of the time her "solo" varies little, if at all, from the recorded version. Personally, I like that. Tiresome lengthy solos were, for me, the worst part of the great guitar bands of yore. Back then, instrumentalists had star power. Thankfully, we're past that.
...and they often weren't as great as they imagined themselves to be. Or they were blasted off their asses on booze or drugs. It was one of the most frustrating parts of seeing my favorite bands live during the 70s and 80s - it rarely lived up to the expectations created by their produced music. But with these ladies, they seek to record their _live_ sound, so consequently it's incredibly satisfying... even *better* than the recordings. That itself is a refreshing accomplishment.
@@MrJest2 Agreed. One of their attractions, once you start watching their offstage videos, is now NICE and clean living and family-oriented they are. I'm sure we'll never read that Pau was found dead of an overdose, Ale rolled her Ferrari killing three people, or Dany got involved in a drunken cat fight over some guy. My biggest worry about them is the pathetically short "shelf life" of girl bands. Name one all-girl band (not a singing group accompanied by a band) that was once big who can draw any sort of crowd now. These girls have about 10 or 12 years left before they go the way of Heart, the Go-Gos, Blondie, Joan Jett and myriad others who, if they are even still together, cannot hope for much more than small clubs or state fairs. In the meantime, bands like Chicago, Procul Harum, and The Stones can still fill large venues and make tons of money doing so. Life is not fair to girl bands and, sadly, I see no fix on the horizon. I can only hope they turn out to be the famous "exception that proves the rule."

I was playing TW when they performed at their high school Crazy Train. My wife who does know about The Warning heard the song and the first thing she said is that Janis Joplin?
The Warning rearrranged Narcisista in the middle to accommodate Beto Ramos, Pau's drum teacher & 2 times Latin Grammy nominated drummer. This implied that their regular click track was off as evidenced by Pau's left Inearz monitor hanging loose. They played the song live with perfect timing & metronomical tightness based on their biological clocks. The talent of Beto, Ale, Pau & Dany on full display here. Saw them at the Bottom Lounge last year. Decent venue, wasn't too crowded last time, suspect it will be packed this year. Will be at Indy next month as well, looks like a larger venue, easier to get to for me.

Stinks they’re not coming anywhere near me but I got to see them in Philly for fifth time last tour. Extremely happy you two get to see them. Awesome you get to see them in small venue; have a feeling they’re not going to be playing small clubs much longer. Have a great time. 🤘🏼

I was playing TW when they performed at their high school Crazy Train. My wife who does know about The Warning heard the song and the first thing she said is that Janis Joplin?
The Warning rearrranged Narcisista in the middle to accommodate Beto Ramos, Pau's drum teacher & 2 times Latin Grammy nominated drummer. This implied that their regular click track was off as evidenced by Pau's left Inearz monitor hanging loose.
They played the song live with perfect timing & metronomical tightness based on their biological clocks. The talent of Beto, Ale, Pau & Dany on full display here.
So next time someone discounts the girls for using click this is an excellent clip to counter that person.

I've heard the Bottom Lounge is awesome. My parents saw Dirty Honey there. I'm actually seeing The Warning in Indy that same week.
Saw them at the Bottom Lounge last year. Decent venue, wasn't too crowded last time, suspect it will be packed this year. Will be at Indy next month as well, looks like a larger venue, easier to get to for me.
When I heard they had added the Chicago date (after Ruido Fest was cancelled) I thought of you guys. They are a ball live. Have fun.

@inRopinion we will be at the Chicago show as well. My wife texted me at work from her work that they released the Patreon presale for the VIP tickets 10 min earlier and I jumped on it. Apparently they sold out pretty quickly. Hopefully we'll get a good spot getting there early for the meet n greet. I'll be on the lookout for you guys.

The song obviously is narcissist. From being in Latin America mi take on it from the Spanish lyrics is about them giving the 🖕🏼to people specially males telling them they were narcissist, egotistical and crazy thinking they're any good. Their response "you don't know anything, I just cover my ears and say NA, NA, NA, ..... let them keep on talking about us...."
