That Mustang has the right owner. I had one in 1974, it was a 1965 Fastback, 289 HiPo, 4 speed, pony pac car. It was a great little car, until the shock towers pulled away from the body, and the front tires pulled in at the top, and out at the bottom. I had to many jobs going on at the time, so I traded it as is for a 1971 Z-28, that needed a complete wiring harness and put that aside till I had the time. I could do that, I wasn’t capable of doing the shock towers and everything needed along with it. The guy who got it, pulled the engine and transmission, pulled the complete front suspension, reinforced everything, dropped a dual quad 427 FE in it with a 4 speed, and put a shortened econoline solid front steering axle under it, and made himself a street driven gasser out of it.
