Front looks great till the registration plate gets put on one side like most modern Alfa's will this be different can a Reg plate sit under the triangular Alfa grill this time?
Sexiest SUV out there, no doubt. I own the base 2018 Alfa Romeo Giulia and two things I don't like about it: 1) Steering is too light 2) The power delivery is like a rubber band - first you step on the gas, then it hesitates before pulling forward. If Alfa fixes these for the Tonale, that would be perfect.
italian cars always had light and very precise steering, sure not all people on this planet likes it but its considered the best steering. the gas problem is more a ,,modern turbo engine thing". A lot of ,,base" cars have this.
@@DonViToCRLNE I guess I am used to German cars. But German cars sure are not as sexy as Italian cars. Oh well, you can't have your cake and eat it too!
The 2nd part is fixed on the 2019 and later transmissions... Was on a business trip with a newer model, and went to the dealer after that because my transmission feels completely different on the lower "get of the line speeds".... However they said... Normal on earlyer cars.... I do think that most likely the oil in the torgue converter has been changed... But I could not find any evidence to it.
this is such a smart perfect looking SUV i hav ever seen ! wish i could buy one ! and i really hope they will do some development on the seatbelts, coz still need to use 2 hands to pull it and buckle up the seat belts ! it is old and boring ! when will it be automatic ? or Buckling up automatically !
I'm not one of those making fun of Fiat cars for their reliability, I had one for years without any issue, but wtf is that pond of liquid right bellow the car???
Horrible car, just like all SUVs and crossovers. They should have just made a new Giulietta or 147 instead of this abomination, and retire the Stelvio, too.
I was in love with my Giulia and Alfa Romeo as a brand, however, I will never again buy/recommend another Alfa Romeo in my life. I had the brake by wire system fail on me and it caused me to crash and total the car. They sent someone from Bosch to diagnose the vehicle and in the charts it clearly showed that something malfunctioned (brakes were slammed 2 seconds before the impact at 40 MPH and it took more than 1.5 seconds for the speed to start going down.) Stellantis told me that they were not going to take responsibility for it and that I needed to have my insurance pay for the vehicle. Absolute garbage. I will never recommend this car brand to anyone again! Buy an AUDI, BMW or Mercedes instead.
That's too bad. I've had my Giulia for nearly four years and it's been nothing but sheer bliss and no issues whatsoever. And LOL for thinking that the Big Three of Germany don't have issues.
@@Natethegreat200c I had an Audi that was no longer under warranty for about 300 miles, and they went ahead and fixed it for me free of charge anyways. Motor messed up, and they went ahead and honored the recall anyways! That's great service! alfa on the other hand, they don't give a damn about their customers.
@@apostolostvable Good for you! I hope it stays that way. But you've been warned! LOL If something happens to you, don't expect to hear anything good from alfa. Looks awesome and elegant versus over stylized lines. Different tastes and I can understand the appeal of more stylized designs but I'm all for simple lines. They tend to age better too.

Best looking car in its class
Don’t you mean bland
@@alanwayte432 no, I don’t. Elegant and simple lines, definitely better looking than Q3, X1 or GLA, even XC40 for that matter.
*its
I love Alfas's design language. In a word, SENSUOUS!
Ugly, italian = design from 2010
How much is beautiful Tonale?!?!!
Is amazing
I'm in love.
Alfa Romeo ❤️❤️❤️

Beautiful, I want it, but what's that fluid under the car ? oil leakage?
Typical Alfa then
@@WhatsMyLane such an idiot comment
Not only SZ, Alfa 159/Brera have the same triple lights pattern

you can clearly see an oil leak underneath the car already

Probably aircon condensation
No heads up display. As usual Alfa one generation behind.

A good looking car, apart from that fake exhaust looking bit of plastic at the back. That's hideous.

A Jeep pretending to be a sports car. Like dressing some bloater in skinny jeans. Totally wrong.
Had 3 Alfas. Each one a heart breaker. Serves me right for getting a brand at the bottom of JD Power's reliability list.
