He’s a future perennial All-star and he might not even go in the first round.
Why? What can’t he do? He’s got exceptional size for a power forward which he played at Duke, and still perfect size for a center in the NBA. He’s gonna rebound in the double digits every year when he is in his prime. He’s a surprisingly good passer for a big man, suggests he could be even better in the NBA, maybe average like 5 or 6 or so a game in his prime.
And even though everybody spends their time talking about his offensive stats, he’s actually just as good if not better on defense. AND he was the #1 recruit in the entire country on some recruiting sites.
I don’t get it. How do people not see it? How do NBA TEAMS seemingly not see it? If Filipowski ever finds himself in a situation where he gets to actually play and develop on the court he’s going to be one of if not the best center in the NBA someday.
