Might be worth the lottery pick regardless. He's been fairly inefficient as a freshman. But that offensive skill level at that size is hard to come by. It has a real chance to pop in the NBA. And there are already some defensive flashes. I wouldn't expect him to ever become some great defender in the NBA. But with the possible offense it might not matter.
In fairness his Perimeter defense is actually good for a guy his size but the post defense is bad ironically, but I prefer having a better perimeter defense than post coz NBA is switch heavy and rarely make post play these days and his weakness is because of his strength which can be fixed because of the conditioning program in the League. His motor is good too.
