Another fantastic video! We are trying so many new places to eat because of your great videos! Keep up the good work! We've never seen the area Chamber's of Commerce-put out any info as nice & detailed as you two do! No idea why they don't, it would bring in so much business for the out of the way places! Thank you Will & Dawn for all you do! It's so appreciated, by so many!

Great video Will, Dawn and SmokyMountainHiker. Delauder’s looked awesome. The nachos looked good. SmokyMountainHiker’s pork platter look great. And Will’s rib and pulled pork looked good, too. The mac and cheese looked so good. Glad it’s almost lunch for me, lol. The hike through the Smokies was quaint. Quiet and peaceful. Just like the Smokies are wherever you go. The steam engine was cool. The trees and flowers were gorgeous. Will and Dawn, you have done it again. Fantastic video. 🙂😉🌳🌲

Regarding the traction engine - perhaps this was old logging equipment abandoned in place? Perhaps a logging mule? Please remember the history of the park area - it was a logging wasteland, played out, and "foisted" onto the government. (Turns out out to have been a good thing, in my book, and an example of ecosystem recovery).

There is a Greenbriar schoolhouse beautifuly preserved but what was very touching is a well-kept small cemetery in front of the school house. All of the graves appear to be of children five years old or younger with headstones of little lambs or poignant sweet verses. Very touching.

Will and Dawn, love your videos and reviews. Have you ever tried out the Greenbriar steakhouse in Gatinburg. As you come into town take that Sharp left turn out in 321 and 73. It's only about 5 minutes out, road goes off to the right and then up near the top. Great old school eatery. Would live to see your review. A lot of locals know the place.

I loved Delauder's and by review it is the hidden gem, but there is one more hidden gem I did not get the chance to go to and if you can and post a review for me let me know. Preachers Smokehouse. He is only Open I believe in Thursday, Friday and Saturday. It is a preacher who runs it. Another hole in the wall. It is also supposed to be amazing and very reasonable. I am coming back down next year and will not miss going there and back to Delauders. I also missed Greenbriar and plan to make it there. I made the mistake of too much city time and not enough park time. Post me some videos of the hidden gems. Pleaseeeeee. I want to do a trip of the Blue Ridge Parkway and roads off of it and what I can find traveling up into the park from it. Cataloochee area and maybe all the way to Asheville. Enjoy your videos. Less city time and more hidden gems please. Thank you. Get to preachers smokehouse and let me know what you think. It is like 7 to 10 minutes from Delauders
