Something tells me NASCAR wants the Lawsuit to be dropped because there may be a good chance that the new Preliminary Injunction could be approved in the Federal District Court
Yes. If I remember correctly there was alot more than Curtis Polk's name brought up early in the year when boycotts were spoke of. Legacy Motorclub comes to mind
This case CANNOT go to discovery. If it does, all of NASCAR financials will be revealed to the world, which could get really ugly. David Land is right.
I do hope that's the case cause the way NASCAR has been rigging the Playoffs. We had an undeserving Cup Series champion this year within Joey Logano. Not only that but, 2022 as well. We need The Chase format back tbh.
@StevenWatters I SERIOUSLY COMPLETELY Agree. 100%. The Original Chase Format With The 2004-2006 10 Driver/2004-2013 10 Race Format With Chase Points, No Points Resets, And Lastly, NO ELIMINATIONS, ONLY For The NASCAR Cup Series, Needs To Be Brought BACK. But, Bring Back The Full-Season Winston Cup Latford Points System, for BOTH the NASCAR Xfinity Series and the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series.
NASCAR "forcing" the teams to sign sounds like something 23XI can seize by getting the other teams to testify about their experience with the new charter agreement. Would give them a lot more firepower to use against NASCAR. Just wish I knew if they could use it for this injunction...
I mean.... Tony Stewart disbanded SHR after the 2024 sadly. But, I can understand why. He didn't like the way NASCAR is being ran, so he went ahead and disbanded his NASCAR D1 & D2 operations.
If NASCAR gets rid of the win & your in format I’ll be very happy cause it’s been annoying me and other fans since it was born in 2014 it literally has to go
I was born when the Winston Cup format was still there in 2001... I got to watch the Nextel era, and that was when the Chase for the Cup format was there in 2004.
Can NASCAR just give up already, and just take the loss at this point??? This is getting out of hand. If NASCAR did some tweaks to the format, hope they removed the "one race championship" or "win and you're in". I still prefer 2004-06 format or Winston format
Go Back To The Original Chase Format With The 2004-2006 10 Driver/2004-2013 10 Race Format With Chase Points And No Points Resets ONLY For The NASCAR Cup Series. But for the Lower Series, Bring Back The Full-Season Winston Cup Points Format For Both The NASCAR Xfinity Series And The NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series.
The amount of people on this thread and dozens of others that think NASCAR the company is afraid of being sued or “exposing their financials” shows a staggering misunderstanding of how large corporations operate.
Jett, I have 2 problems. The first is that the lying NASCAR channels are lying about the lawsuit. The second is that I'm seeing a content farm that's using somebody elses OC without permission without stopping.
Sounds like you don’t want to agree with NASCAR but have no choice, hopefully 23XI goes away after this lawsuit is over and maybe Front Row is wising up and wants to sign the agreement

I'd say continue the lawsuit with 23XI and Front Row. They need to learn.

If NASCAR changes the Playoff format, it will likely be taking away the “Win & Your In” rule.
I hope so
I don’t think that’s going to happen, but I do hope they at least revert back to only the top 20 in points being eligible.

I wish for the fans that all this, lawsuit crap would just end.
Nah this lawsuit drama is more entertaining than most of the races were this season.

Thank you Jett!
Yeah then it means nascar hiding something

I come here for the tears and ignorance alone.
Larson on top !
NASCAR wanting the lawsuit dismissed makes them more guilty.
" you would have done it already " no your agreement didn't allow it what?

No i didn’t I was just explaining what NASCAR wants to say. I am for the teams because NASCAR’s logic throughout this whole story is wrong imo
I don't want another childhood team to go away. Front Row Motorsports was in my childhood in 2005 when I was 3 years old.
