Price to perfomance hasn't improved since 2022. Prices should be $200 less across the board in 2024

@@fractalelf7760 I guess you won't mind paying $5K for a RTX AI 6080 in 2028. Your whole PC will cost $10K minimum. We already know the market is the market. Doesn't make it right. & yes we know there's nothing we can do about it.
@@xtremezone987 The point is this: Nvidia’s making very complex cards and you and I don’t set prices. They do and the consumer decides what to spend. You buy the performance you can afford, simple as that. The market IS RIGHT, THATS THE NATURE OF A MARKET…. Sheesh do you guys learn anything in school now besides gender confusion, my God…. I for one fully plan to go to a more midrange card because I don’t need to run 4K at 240 hz for AAA title, and that frankly is the problem. People are thinking they need massive systems for games and you just don’t need the very best each generation. 1080p on a 24” monitor upscaled a bit still looks and plays well. You guys insisting on buying 4K screens, then upset you can’t power them to needlessly high frame rates is the equal issue to Nvidia’s pricing. You want to play at the top, you are going to pay. Nvidia frankly could justify leaving the game market, they make like 5x the money on AI and that is only ballooning.
@@fractalelf7760 Just so you're aware I too play in the midrange & I don't play @ 4K. The point I'm trying to make is if us gamers don't take some kind of a stand together Ngreedia, AMD & soon Intel will no longer make entry & mid-level cards & that will lead to two options, either A-forcing you to buy a 90 level class card or B- give up gaming all together.

Thanks for the update, I will hold out until 6000 series. My 4090 is still worth it, and it is keeper for another 3 to 4 years. Yes, I bought it at the end of October of 2022, and I have no regrets. Prices for next gen higher end will cost more, in my opinion. So why wait? Get it now if you need one.

Yes with the 4090 you can skip a generation or two before having to upgrade or having to lower settings to make up for it.
My guess is that when 5000 series comes out the 4090 will go down to around $1,000 and everyone will panic buy it like crazy. I certainly won’t but who knows.
People are crazy thinking you are going to get top end cards with an old $$300, 400, $600, $800 pricing for top tier. Never going to happen again. Most people need to stick to 1440p at best and get a card they can afford.
Yes, buy a 2 year old card now that is totally overpriced even for €1500 when the 50 card comes out in a few months OMG..... NVIDIA sucks BUY AMD !!!
Tired of this attitude to buy NVIDIA no matter what. They are the dominant leader in the GPU industry and more youtubers need to push back harder and quit saying that AMD needs to lower their price. NVIDIA could easily give gamers better value. Those days are gone. Now we have to accept these high prices that have been set.
@@andystantic8885that's why i criticize nvidia more than because they are market leader and so if the market leader don't care so why would some other competitors care? They truly not trying to compete its a whole propaganda they don't compete at all nvidia is the better product atm and since they give bad value then why would the other cousin will give better prices for its products the market seems more about "how we gonna rip off more people and get more for it." Because that's how it seems that this marketing is working like.

It's better to wait on the 50 series than to get a 4090 at this point.
Yep retailers are still charging $1,800 plus for the 4090. Nope they can sit on the shelf’s.
Nah it’s meh pricing. If you are looking for a high or mid range GPU you are better off waiting until 5000 series. Form there probably during November we could see real discounts such as $100 off or more of the GPU.
