Nice comparison. I am 2-3 seconds late from ACC. ACC is new to me this year as I have been playing GT Sports/GT7 for years and competed. I finally got my Fanatec DD Pro (5mn)for ACC close to GT7 style or physics..though the physics are different. GT7 is more forgiving I noticed. For MONZA track example GT7 1.48 and ACC 1.50/1.51 i still can’t figure out how to cut some time or cut corners just feel different.
You’re spot on. GT7 is definitely more forgiving and doesn’t punish mistakes so much so it’s easier to take liberties. Oddly, having driven in ACC for so long I find it really hard to take such liberties in GT7 and as a result I’m slower in GT7 than ACC.
