We have a gas / electric stove in our kitchen, only elect hooked up. We have a two burner gas stove out in the dirty kitchen about 70' from the house.
Big rice cooker for enough rice to feed us and 3 dogs each day. Two refrigerators for when we are there, only one is used when we are gone. We get 40 gal
of fresh water every two weeks. We are set as long as there is no brown outs.
A new lodge, a new coconut chopper, a new OP, damn brother I need an upgrade!
She loves it. My man you all can make some awesome pancit in the double dutch and skillet.

you only need to open gas valve at tank 1/2 turn. that way you can close it fast if you have to.😁
awesome on your new purchase of the Lodge Cookware, as i am the South Pittsburg ,Tennessee man, that meets my approval, you rock Chef, LOL i am sure you will get a lot of great meals out of that purchase.
Need a better hose clamps them dont look to safe.
Also you should get in the habit of turning off the main gas at the tank when you are not using them , that way it don’t leak out and wind up blowing up your house by accident
I always turn the source of first so I don't forget and when I hear that pop at the burner when the flame goes out I know the lines are empty.
I think she said, if you mess around, she's gonna cut something off...LOL

Same for gaz tank in Thailand. You exchange the tank at the shop.But if you have a good clean one you want the same and not a rusted one.
I love cast iron , got a grill pan and a fry pan , gonna get one of those too ,checked them out already $50 at Walmart , I alway clean it while it still hot and it stays seasoned
King always recommends the Lodge 3.2 combo cast iron cooker made by good folks in USA. This is 6 quart Dutch oven. Check out the Lodge line of cast iron before you buy imported!

Price of a ref has skyrocketed. That kind of ref used to cost , at most 17k.
When I see gas cooking tanks like that and a man with no tools, I can't but help scream DANGER! DANGER! There are many things you can be 'red neck' about, but especially with a wonderful family, propane gas tanks are definitely not on that list.
@sipods Propane gas tank is the normal in Philippine household in suburban area. They should use a heavy duty gas stove for those dutch cooking pans. They're too heavy for their thin stainless cooking stove. The cooking stove could melt from heat or explode if they make a mistake of using a utensil/pans that will overlap the stove.

I’m sitting in my easy chair looking out back to a 20 acre flood pond on my farm watching a nephew picking up his decoys. Nothin but a few teal flying but nothing coming in. Was very hot a nothing coming in. The local domestic geese didn’t even make a visit as they usually do about dark.

Could you make sure your kids have birth certificates issued by the Embassy? I think it's SF 106, not sure. They need it in case something happens to you. My Dad left when I was 2 years old because he couldn't find a job. He ended up rejoining the Army. On my 16th birthday, I ended up selecting US citizenship. My birth certificate and their marriage contract helped me. My mom died when I was 22, in my 1st year of college. I ended up trying to join the Navy but flunked the interview because I needed to practice speaking English. Took the US Army test in Port Area, Manila. I am a retired MSG now, living in WA state.

Peanut oil is best for treating cast iron, coat it, put it in the oven to season it.

Pls use soap water and Spong tester at the clamp hose for any gas leak. Such clamps no good I had them B4, I throw them, pls pass by butain shop supplier they have special clamps

It is easier if you attach the regulator to the tank first. Then attach the hose.

Are you paying more because you are a foreigner? The price of the fridge is the same as a similar fridge in US. Also the propane tanks and exchange fees are pretty similar to Home Depot. Seems a little expensive for regular Filipinos who make 15k pesos per month.

Sounds like you are a good dad, looking after your family, but before buying all the gas cooking gear and griller, what about 20 SQM of tiles on the raw concrete floor in the kitchen floor area, and adding a bench beside the cookers so you can lift the water supply of the floor so your dear wife is not bending down every time she needs water , bit of common sense buddy,,,

Sounds bad buy we just used a bit of saliva to lube tight fits like your stove hose. FYI, should have put fitting on first because twisting it after hoe is connected contributes to making hose get lose later.

I promise Those tanks are not brand new they take them back clean them up paint them refill them then wrap them in plastic and ship them go ahead and write your name on them if youd like to the sandblast will have it looking new the next time you get it lol
