Beetlejuice the Musical was the #1 show I was looking forward to this Broadway season- with 8 Tony award nominations, a lush set design, and my fiancé Alex Brightman; my hopes were high. Did Beetlejuice on Broadway live up to my expectations? Find out!
We also run into the Jonas Brothers & Sophie Turner & we go to Taco Bell. Rob McClure & Kerry Butler are in this video for 5 seconds and it makes my little theatre-y heart very happy. When I met Alex Brightman at stage door for SOR, he snatched my phone out of my hand and took a bunch of selfies with me before saying a word.
It was hilarious.
He's an incredible performer, to be sure. Never in my life have I ever seen someone put literally everything they have into each performance. He does and it's just astounding. I wish I knew how to do that.

Alex Brightman is so nice and genuine. I remember when I met him just being in awe of how humble and attentive he was to the people waiting outside the stage door. I hope I get to work with him someday.

when I saw this show in previews, Alex Brigham gave me the best advice for being a theater actors which was to stay in the moment and focus on working up because I’ll eventually get to live out my dream of being out on Broadway

I went to the open call audition for future Lydia replacements back in December. It was hard to pick audition material since there were no recordings of the songs anywhere. It was my first equity audition and I plan to go on more in the future!

I actually also went to that audition! I agree. It was SO hard to find material. And yes, it was from an acting agent.
I love how because Alex wears so much makeup that because it takes so long to take it off, there is barely anyone at the stage door when he comes out. This lets him really take the time to connect with his fans who stay and wait. Like Katherine really had a full conversation with him which is soooo cool.
