    from what I've learned in this series, Japan has domesticated almost all its wildlife with a series of bread dispensers.

    All official Japanese post offices will have ATMs that will accept international debit cards, but so will all 7-11s consistently --> they have "Seven Bank" ATMs that accept international cards and 7-11s have better operating hours than the post office. Pro Tip: Get a good checking account that doesn't charge fees so you can easily withdraw while traveling. My favorite is Charles Schwab bank's checking accounts. They don't charge foreign transaction fees or ATM fees and if an ATM charges you an additional fee, they will reimburse it for you. Also no minimum balance or direct deposit required and no service fees. That + pocket wifi made everything a lot easier when I visited.

      Yeah, some people have a near mystical inability to cook. For someone like Meepo or myself it seems really simple, but for others it's like some kind of sorcery. I really wouldn't feel bad, though; I had a house-mate in University that *read the instructions on a box of Kraft Dinner*. Suffice to say, we had pizza that night.

    • @Othelbark
      @Othelbark 8 лет назад

      ***** I googled it right after i posted the comment. I was aware of the "YMCA" song at a sort of periphery level that i suspect is culturally unavoidable in the English speaking word (all i knew was "YMCA" over and over with the tune). But for some reason (probably because my knowledge of them is similarly vague) i had it in my head that it was a song by the Beatles... >.>

      No, all fast food chains are huge in Asian countries. That said, they actually use quality ingredients so...
      Look up Mcdonalds in China or Korea. Of which you will probably see a lot of Hitler merchandise of all things... He's also huge in China/Korea for whatever reason.

    Hurm, though its cool that they give out a wetnap every time, I feel like someone who wanted to boost the profits of the store could save millions of dollars a year by stopping this practice. Depending on how much business they lost because of it of course. Not saying I agree with it, just saying its a thing that could happen, e.g. no more mints on your pillow in hotels.
