I'm doing my cancer treatments all alone. Thank you for reminding me that I can get through this, and one day (fingers crossed) this will be only a memory, that the constant health anxiety will melt a little, and I too will be able to reflect and realize what a damn wonderful world this is - now go live it, with joy, gratitude, and grace.
I’m so sorry that you’re handling cancer all on your own. You are definitely a super woman! You’ve got this and there is magic and wonder on the other side of your treatments. Sending light and healing.

I was supposed to start my chemo and radiation treatments in two days, and also doing it solo (with help as needed from friends). But my (very well known) insurance company only approved 4 of 7 weekly chemo, and denied all 6 weeks of daily radiation. Doesn't meet medical criteria? For lung cancer? On the days that I forget to see the positives, I'll just do quiet rants at the insurance folks. Beyond that, one day at a time, and I know I'm fortunate it was found early, and I have great friends and doctors. Staying strong, badassery abounds!! 🤘🤓
I'm really happy about you beating cancer, but that build up from going to Dave and Busters, to winning a LED light for your toilet bowl, to a bathroom reveal in the dark and only an ominous red glowing circle, is actually one of the funniest things I've seen in a while. I was having a big laugh there.

Seeing that edit of you going through your cancer made me realize how much we’ve witnessed so much of the whole process. It also makes me realize how i’ve been following your life on and off for so many years! Watching/seeing you is like hanging out with an old friend that, you don’t quite know everything about their life (because you both have your own lives), but you still chose to have them around. I am so proud of you and I am so happy that you’re still my comfort RUclipsr 💓💓💓

I want to share mine too: Last wednesday my doctor told me I’m finally cancer free after 7 months of treatment 😁 Now it’s just 4-5 months appointments for the next 5 years.

Also, I just wanted to say how grateful I am for you sharing your pure joy over the table setting competition. Feels like permission to continue to be loud and weird in my own way.
Currently going through thyroids cancer treatment at 29. It’s not been easy. Two surgeries, no thyroid left, and now I’m prepping for my Radioactive Iodine treatment next month. Really not looking forward to isolating from everyone for a while. I’m hoping that a year from now I can be in as good of a place as you are now Grace.
As a long time subscriber who isn’t able to be online as much anymore, I remember seeing your first video saying you had cancer pop up and it made me really sad. But watching you go through all of this and now seeing you on the other side is such a lovely feeling. I know so many people going through similar things have had you to look to and that’s just awesome! So glad to see you back to posting and absolutely ecstatic for you to have finished your treatments and seemingly feeling pretty good about things. You’re a ray of sunshine in what sometimes seems like such a dark world. ❤🎉

Those lights for your toilet…no lie…are the shit (hahaha see what I did there!) My mom got me one as a stocking stuffer a few years ago - she did it half as a joke. But I have issues with lights at night and being able to sleep/go back to sleep. That stupid light on the toilet is just enough to get me there without death by tripping over something and I can go right back to sleep after. No bright overhead lights needed! Silly…yes! Stupid…yes! Something we didn’t know we needed…HELL YES 🤣🤣!
And by the way, congrats for getting through everything! I’m so happy that you’re back and healthy and I can’t wait to see what you do next!!!

Your journey has been so inspiring for me. I have watched you for over ten years and often from bed. I have several autoimmune disorders and spend a lot of time resting. Rearranging a room is one of my favorite pastimes
Quick Tip from a Master of Happiness (like, actually...I have an actual Masters Degree in Happiness) keeping a very "quick" daily (or even just once weekly) gratitude journal of "3 things that you appreciate today/this week and 3 things you're looking forward to tomorrow/next week" is super healing. Also, the key phrase that seriously made it worth all of the $17,000 I paid to get this degree: GIVE YOURSELF (AND OTHERS) PERMISSION TO BE HUMAN. ♡

I shared with you about my SILs battle with a rare bile duct cancer that she unfortunately lost her battle with in May after a yr 1/2. She was 48. The same age as my dad when he passed away. I don’t know how to grieve, I’m lost for my brother and nephew. It’s fuckin sucks! But I want to thank you for helping others thru what ever battle they are in and the strength to pull thru. Sending awkward hugs! ❤🇨🇦

For many years my wife and I volunteered to stand watch at the table setting competition at our local Antelope Valley Fair and it was always amazing to see the reaction of people as they viewed the displays. Wonderful debates over something that is both silly and mesmerizing. I highly recommend if you are a fair-goer that you don’t pass up the opportunity to visit this strange fun land. Read the placards at each setting and you’ll find some of the best puns ever and some sneaky social commentary as well. Thanks for the shout out, Grace.

It is 100% something you have to train yourself to do, and it's not always easy but damn if you don't pull it off with aplomb. I realize we only get a glimpse of you and your journey through what you choose to share, but I am so grateful that you do share yourself with us.
