You skipped all the necessary steps before you started to drill a hole on a pipe! Why?? I bought one like that but somehow mine got stuck and it could not go down anymore than half an inch. That's it! It couldn't spring back and it got stuck! That's why I need to see if you could show everything from start to finish!
Pre yung drill press na yan e palpak, masyadong mataas ang drag ng bakal sa bakal kahit lagyan mo pa ng grasa lahat ng moving parts , at pag priness mo na sya dahil sa manipis lang ang poste nya nawawala sa sentro ang drill bit , hindi nacoconpensate ang pressure nung press sa timbang ng drill , bumili din ako nyan hindi ko na ginamit dahil pahirap pa sa simpleng pagbutas ang ginagawa nya .
Very unsafe ,seems you have never used a drill !!! The assembly was already a problem. check out HOW TO USE A DRILL / STAND. You also need a vise to hold the work piece ! fasten the stand to a solid bench. SAFETY FIRST !!!

Camera angle is not correct. Most of the time operations are outside camera angle of view. Operation shown at 3 min 18 sec is perhaps not correct.
You need a bench vise on the flat form to stable the base your doing it in unsafe way lucky the bit don't slip your finger
Yep just bought some vise after a week of buying this. I was only lightly pushing down the press to prevent it from slipping
