Like all the ones I was confused about were the ones that he just said you should want to know about this. And then he said there’s an equation for this but didn’t tell us the equation
@michaelhaenderjeanlouis25 well his paid lessons I would assume would be giving more examples and probably more complex examples. But like I haven’t taken algebra for like 5 years. So all the rules and stuff I forget and he kinda just skips past them instead of at least mentioning how to do them. Also for all the stuff that he mentions but doesn’t tell you, you could look it up and probably find it with 5 minutes of scrolling so I don’t think that’s the reason people are paying for his lessons.
I can’t do math for my life I legit think I’m at a 7th grade level in math while I’m in 11th grade I’m super great at all my other classes like chemistry English and languages and Histiry but math is just my skill issue
Finally I can have the list :) I enjoyed this. Even if I’m strong at maths, having recap is helpful especially since there will be parts and there are some stuff I’m rusty on like percents. Thx for these helpful videos I hope to get an 800 by the end of my SAT journey :) .
Hi, I am an international student with no prior sat knowledge, is this checklist the best way for me to get started with SAT prep and does the checklist cover all math on the test?
hey, the checklist covers about 1/5 of the materials tested on the SAT. The best way to get started is by mastering the concepts tested on the SAT & do the practice exams. The videos on this channel should cover a good chunk of the concepts.
I took my first practice test without studying at all and got a 950. I am really stressed because I’m going to give my first SAT exam in December and I want to score 1300 or above score. Can someone pls guide me on how can I achieve this goal. I’m really weak in math and I’m trying use your videos to help me but idk which topic to get started with first. Do you have a one by one playlist of explaining all the topics? That would help out a lot
@@ray-sh6ku idk honestly i just studied the night before until like 3 am for like five hours. I just watched a ton of youtube videos and just understood all the topics that this channel mentioned from the everything u need to know alg, geo, circles, standard debviation, so on. And i wrote it all down as i was watching. after i recopied it neatly onto another piece of paper and looked it over. my scores raised from like 620 to 760
x would be 19- First write sqrt x-3 =4 after subtracting 1 from 5. To isolate (remove) the radical, you would square both terms, which would equal x-3=16. x=16+3 so x=19.
I'm pretty late but what you want to do is make an equation of two fractions: 1. Since the original number (dogs adopted last Christmas) is 470, that will be your denominator. The numerator for this fraction will be 570, the change of percent. 2. You will then set 570/470 equal to x/100 (100 being the original percent and x being the new percent). 3. Just solve the equation for X, which should be x = 126.66. 4. Subtract 100 from 126.66 to get about 27% (it's asking for the percent INCREASE, not what percent of 470 is 570, so u can just get rid of 100 & then round up 26.66 to 27%) (in general ur formula will be a new number/original number = x/100, where x will give you what percent of the original number the new number is) Sorry if my wording is a bit confusing, but I hoped it helped!
You just have to change the number inside the root to be the same. Change the 18 inside the root to 3^2 times 2 and it will change to 4x3 root 2, which is 12 root 2. Now that they have the same root, you just have to add it together, which makes the answer 14 root 2. Hope this helped! I'm also taking it next week lol.
