I happen to get the chance to purchase an LMT enhanced BCG. No complaints at all. Although I ended up going with an ADM lower instead of the LMT-MARS. I am very happy. Just picked up a used but very good condition MARS lower last week for a phenomenal price, I am going to grab another LMT bcg for this build as well.
Love it! Good for you man! I have an LMT enhanced BCG and Bolt in my AR too. It took a year of weekly and daily checking to finally find one in stock. I love this thing. These things help so much on carbine gas systems especially suppressed! Ended up having to switch my H2 for an H1 on my Daniel Defense block 2 upper because this tamed that gas so much. I’m biased as hell, but I do believe aside from the KAC E3 bolt, there is not another bolt in the industry that is as durable as the LMT enhanced. It’s the best upgrade for longevity of a carbine system you can buy, again I am very biased however
@T20-c8f a little bit of a different price point but I have had excellent experience with Sharps DLC bcg. I love them and time will tell how the new KAK bcg works out.
Chad, you are getting censored huge! Just thought I would say something. I'm subscribed to all notifications and had to look you up to see all the new videos.
So it's not just me? I only had 3 notifications from SOTAR today. After some digging, it appears all my channels have been getting censored for some time. Pepperbox time?
I hear lots of people saying they want to buy this BCG but it's only meant for shorter gas systems. I was looking at it for my rifle so I contacted LMT bc I was concerned about the added dwell time due to the altered cam pin cutout. They emphatically told me that they DO NOT recommend this BCG for a barrel with a Midlength gas system. They said I won't see any benefit and it can actually cause the rifle to short stroke. If you want it, just make sure it's going on something it's meant for.
That's super interesting. Off the top of my head, the only difference I could think of is that it would slow down the pressurization of the bolt by a tiny amount. Would that have a similar effect as a delayed-blowback system like roller or radial?
This channel is always 100% pure excellence. Every single time I watch a video on this channel, I learn something.
Rocking the gun world with knowledge!
I find all of your videos educational Sir. 😊😊

I'm aware. I appreciate you mentioning it though.

education is always a good thing, no matter how mundane or impractical it may be.
Educational as always! 🤙🏻🇺🇸
Yep, thank you sir.

Some 3d printer nozzles did that split port stuff
Another great video!!
Cool, didn’t know this existed! Thanks!
What do you think of the roller cam pin and gas key from POF?
That's super interesting. Off the top of my head, the only difference I could think of is that it would slow down the pressurization of the bolt by a tiny amount. Would that have a similar effect as a delayed-blowback system like roller or radial?
That's a clever idea.
That was cool. Had no idea.
Didn't know that about those carriers that is Cool!
Thanks for these nuggets. 😎
👍🇺🇸
Thank you
Dual exhaust
Neato
Enhanced BCG's seem like they'd be more of a benefit on non-standard, gassy calibers like 6arc, .458, ect.
Didn’t know. Thank you! 🫡
The LMT enhanced carrier has several features LMT employs in it's design for that model carrier.
Might be the camera angle, but does the cam slot have a different geometry?
Yes
You’re correct. The cam slot in the LMT is cut in such a way that the carrier needs to move back a bit further before the bolt starts unlocking
