Your passion for overlanding is contagious, and your videos have become a beacon for adventure enthusiasts like myself. We bought an overlanding Vehicle and a BushLapa to also go on these amazing adventures! Looking forward to more thrilling journeys and discovering the hidden gems of Southern Africa through your lens. Wishing you safe travels and exciting adventures ahead!
It is -35 here in northern Alberta, Canada, during a six-day polar vortex, so I am really enjoying watching this amazing beach footage while I eat a hot breakfast and have a cup of coffee. Every video doesn't need to be an adventure; it still brings us someplace new and breathtaking to look at.
Thank you Edward. We love seeing your travel videos around Africa. This one is a "Killer", one can see the efforts put in. We looking forward to seeing more this year.
Thank you Edward for your selfless efforts in showing us the beautiful side of Africa. Taking us to some of those wonderful places which many of us cannot go due to financial, political and various such reasons! May God bless you and your family abundantly and may you continue to attract all happiness, wealth and prosperity in your life! This is one of the best overlanding channels I have come across on RUclips! Let’s support Edward in his endeavour!
Bumped into you Ed when we were there. Can't agree more Morrungulo is paradise and the highlights of our time in Mozambique. Another beautifully done videos. Cheers.
I agree that the scenery is spectacular and magical. I have been there many times and cannot get enough. Respect the country, their laws, the people and you will have a great time. Thank you for sharing the footage.
Magic, am all in definitely will be taking my family there. Some of us we have never seen the ocean, been in a land locked country thus Zim although i reside in Centurion. Am scared to visit places Durban for safety & security reasons. Never imagined that such Maldive enviro places do exist here in SADC. Well done mate. Morrungulo am coming there.......Now anxiously waiting for the next episode in Kruger. Hope the sad news werent life threatening, thanks Ed ;)
What an extraordinarily beautiful, pristine coastline! And such a fantastic campsite right up front, sleeping to the sound of the surf. I would never leave it either. Thanks for sharing it with us.
Hi Ed Just wanted to say thank you for your honest, true to the core videos, footage and commentary which is priceless in this day and age - all your time, blood, sweat and effort is hugely appreciated, your videos has become a family time gathering (with me stealing ideas with the eye and making notes 😁), also a thank you to your wife in allowing you and supporting you to go out on these adventures - may 2024 be filled with blessings, health and wonderful, safe adventures 🍻
Thanks for sharing this great destination with us Ed...It's a nice switch up from the usual bush...You've inspired my wife and I to bump Moz up on the bucket list...Even enjoyed the whale spotted in the slomo (at 30:02-30:04 left of the sunrise) 😊 Looking forward to the next episode👌
As always, great work, amazing adventure. Being able to watch your adventures all the way from Canada is awesome, love learning about the places you travel to.
Great advertisement for Mozambique tourism !! I am from Mozambique and thank you for visiting our country ! There are thousands of beautiful beaches in Mozambique as it has a 2500 km long coast line. Please do more videos of this type on other sites in Mozambique . suggest you travel further north to Mozambique and also visit Mozambique Island and Chocas Mar beach in Nampula province. By the way get star link for your internet connections, It si quite easy to get in Mozambique and you can use it anywhere !!!
My families most favorite holiday destination in Africa, Mozambique you beauty. What another magic episode Ed. Happy and prosperous 2024 for you and your family. 🎉
Where in Morungulu in 2019 and stayed in the resort just before where you where. It was one of my most memorable holidays ever! Clean beaches, nobody harassing you on the beach, it was heaven. It also took us forever to get there, arrived at camp @ 01:30 in the morning.
Fantastic episode, Edward. Agreed, every episode doesn’t need to be a ‘thrashing around’ Africa. We were in Inhambane over December for our (my) first trip to Moz. I’ll be back, but definitely choosing a different time of year to December due to traffic and trucks. It’s such a beautiful country, as you’ve shared in your latest Vlog. Keep it up, we love following you.
Great family holiday. Moz is a great place. There are problems at times, but higher authority takes complaints, especially seriously. You need to do a trip from Ponta in the South to Pemba in the North that would make for a great series.
Brilliant Ed, Once again you have shown amazing vid and photo talent. Would love to see more on Moz from you and gang. Its an amazing country and pray that it comes back to its pre war former glory. Thank you .
Thanks Ed for the recommendation of Morrungulo. Saw a post on Instagram as we were heading into Mozambique for some long awaited beach time post October in Botswana. We arrived with 12kg of Fresh Barracuda in the fridge, salad and a good attitude. We loved it. It is definitely paradise. Seems we have similar taste in campsites - we used the same one. Just simply a stunning place and a great place to unwind. Thanks again for the tip!!!
Looks like Paradise indeed!Great filming and loved the relaxed filming. Those lobsters looked amazing and we were so drooling over them😅 Just glad the tsotsis/bandits stayed away. Hopefully the gov gets full contrrol so it can prosper! Marloth Park should be an episode on it's own too! One of our fave spots on earth and have made so many lekker friends over the years.
Hi Ed. I am watching this at River Hill Lodge (very highly recommended) which is adjacent to the Mozambique Border in Komatipoort, on the banks of the Komati River. I know what you mean about the many kilometers long truck jam heading for Maputo and the port, shipping coal and minerals to China. I just had two magic days in the Kruger, saw cheetahs, lions, elephants, almost everything except no wild dogs this time but I have seen them on three previous visits. Thank you for your videos, I am starting my own overlanding adventures thanks to you, Ryan and Christoff.
So Nice! Have not been there but it looks amazing! I lived in Tanzania so Zanzibar was my place as well as the cost of Tanzania! Hope you hade a nice time and relaxing!
Your videos really warm us up in Canada where it was -26 degrees and is now a warm -15 degrees C. Translation for Canadians lekker=good or delicous braai=barbecue
Awesome video. We always wanted to go. Never knew really where to go and also a bit concerned about cops etc. This has convinced me and also now have a great place where to go to.
Hi there just discovered your channel, really enjoying it and giving us the homesick blues……. We are ex South Africans in Aus and would like some detail on the burner/skittle you were using to cock breakfast. Looks a like a step up from the old Candace skottel. Keep up the good work, love it.
Edward. Thank you so much for keeping my dreams alive. What month of the year were you in Morrungulo? It seems quiet. Thanks for all the adventures....I live it with and through you.....
Thanks for another very nice video. If I may, would you consider adding the cost of your trip's. It would help the budget sensitive travellers like my self alot in the planning our own trips. Thanks in advance. Looking forward to your next exciting video.
Thanks Karel, unfortunately price is subject to change and it differs per person depending on their needs and their vehicle etc but this cost my wife and I 15k for 8 days
Hi Ed. There was not a single bird shot. The last time you spoke of the morning song was at the border. Was there nothing wild there? Not even a monkey
Hey Ed How is the experience in Mozambique as far as cop encounters? I’ve heard Mozambique police are quite aggressive always trying to extort money. I drove into Zimbabwe back in 2017 and the cops ruined my experience and I just bugged out of Zimbabwe into Zambia. The cops in Zimbabwe were absolute crooks at least back in 2017 and I heard they were not getting their salaries and instead resorting to highway robbery of tourists. I turned around after Hwange NP and got the hell out of Zimbabwe. I hear things have gotten much better now in Zimbabwe. They kept asking me for some red sticker and wanted me to pay a spot fine and I told them to take a hike and asked them to go with me to a proper police station. They also nitpicked on my fire extinguisher and I wanted to smash their heads with it lol I heard cops in Mozambique can be pretty aggravating. Never been there so far but want to go there but I hate cops in some African countries extorting tourists for money and ruining the experience. The beach looks great. And Mazaltov, man. I didn’t realize you got married to Rachel recently 😀
Hey bud! Thanks so much, we didn’t have any issues but we were strict on our speed and having nothing wrong with the cars that they could catch us out on but I’ve heard that they do make up some things to cause trouble but yeah, I guess you can just get unlucky, same as South Africa, it just depends on the cop

Quite an intertidal zone there. Nice though. Moz used to be our holiday destination for years. Used the Letaba border though when it opened up.

Nice but NOTHING beats your Kruger videos👍👍👍

Unfortunately no Wildlife spotted at all
in all your travel, these are the things you expect. The squirrel. the hornbill or the early bird call@@EdwardBath
Do you use starllink for your internet connections ?
Ed, do they offer SCUBA diving, and if so any feedback from fellow residents about it? This look amazing
Hi Gavin, yes at bonito bay they do 💪
Great video. Thank you. Just a question please, did the Mozambique Police not stop your group regularly? Regards. Woody
Nice area mate 🙂

Hi. Is this campsite only accessible with a 4x4 from the border?
Not sure from which border but from the tar road you don’t need a 4x4 just a car with good clearance
