Valverde hotel and steakhouse, very cool and the church is interesting, actually I wouldn't mind seeing it myself it's cool that you were able to see the inside
I kept seeing this in my recommended but I thought it was a video about Europe, lol. It does look kind of like a ghostly place. There is a clock like that on UNM campus. That certainly is a beautiful church. Priests stay in a rectory. Catholic here. I really like that other church you got the tour of too. I haven’t even ever been to Belen
It's just very old. Lots of history there in Socorro. My GGGrandfather, my brother-in-law's grandfather, and THE Conrad Hilton. Was a booming town back in it's day. The Val Verde always makes me sad. It has been in use off and on for decades. 20ish years ago we had lunch at the steakhouse there. Older people would meet there for bridge and other card games. With the fountains going, I wonder if it is still (or again) in use, as it wasn't some 10 years ago. :'( Very cool nicer old hotel. It's also a Trost building.
